Hey wait a minute. This is the same game that had the catchphrase; "Are you prepared to destroy the world for a girl?"
That was for the original Tales of Xillia if I remember right.

Also, tales of destiny 2, though never released outside if japan, was a pretty cool game story wise. If xillia 2 does what destiny 2 did, I will approve...unless it stays in japan in which I say fuck you jp onry bullshit.

Yeah, I don't get the hate for this so far. It looks cool for a trailer. I'd prefer to understand why anyone cares about this at all seeing as the first one is still jp onry. What makes anyone think we'll see an english version of the original, much less this sequel?

This isn't the game that has a futuristic look, right?
No, this its direct sequel that takes place one year later. So technically, it has an even more futuristic-y look.

I would also like to emphasize how my "keep dreaming" remark was in reference to FFversusXIII being released next generation.

Again, keep dreaming lol.

I'm down! So far, the Wii U has my attention, so a Final Fantasy on the system would be very welcome. It wouldn't surprise me either. With neither Microsoft or Sony having new consoles on the horizon, Nintendo can really make a mark sharing some multi-platform games during this extended period, then it's great for developers because the game/system will be around for years to come, and a triple A title like Final Fantasy is very likely to be gotten by late arrivals down the line. Sorta like I would probably buy Metal Gear Solid 4 if I bought a PS3 today.

I'm hearing all kinds of rumors of Wii U ports, so it wouldn't surprise me at all. Smart move too.
Keep dreaming, video is confirmed fake already.
2091  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Dragon's Dogma on: June 01, 2012, 04:51:26 PM
I would have already bought it, but the cab I called for my ride home from work was actually quick. Going to probably run out later today or tomorrow for it.

Naturally, as I go to order this and xenoblade from lamestop, gamefly sends out xenoblade, the cheaper game.

Edit: Nabbed a pstriple copy this evening. My lamestop had no failbox stuff left. Works for me, I preferred the ps3 controls for non shooters anyway.

Double Edit: Played for about 2 hours and my system froze, just like what happened to me during my arkham city run. It's official, my ps3 is dying. Sending it in next week for service repairs.

2093  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Dragon's Dogma on: May 31, 2012, 11:10:40 PM
It's surprisingly been sold out everywhere in the local area where I'm at.  Which I think is cool, since the game is totally worth it.  I've put like, 30 hours in so far and I have a long ways to go from what I can tell.... and then there's still NG+ to do afterwards.
You playing it on Ps3 or the failbox parn?
2094  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Dragon's Dogma on: May 31, 2012, 03:39:46 PM
Gamefly is consistently letting me down with this, so I am debating on a purchase this weekend.
2095  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Mass Effect 3 (expect ME1&2 spoilers) on: May 30, 2012, 10:38:09 PM
So I fiddled with rebellion stuff. No luck on packs, but the thessia map and the new objective missions were fairly decent. It also seems like my battlemaster takes way more punishment now, I was pleased by that. However, it also seems that more idiots are playing now, cuz the three gold runs I attempted were plagued with idiots. I carried teams to round 3 and fi.ally rage quit when people were still running around and not working together.

I swear stupidity is evolving.
2096  The Rest / The Helper Monkey / Re: Wii sensor bar help on: May 29, 2012, 11:41:51 PM
Wireless really has to be last ditch, though I appreciate the reply darklight. I have absolutely no problem destroying the sensor bar cable in an attempt to make this work. Hell, I have several cat 6 cables ran through the wall to the final location, I can use one of the 4 pairs and splice the xable onto it and attach the connector end and just run it into the wii, just rather not waste a network cable for just that.

Long story short, rich person, expensive house, specific asthetical preferences, and a very large equipment rack.

my advice is to drink heavily
We'll call that plan B.
2098  The Rest / The Helper Monkey / Wii sensor bar help on: May 29, 2012, 05:16:37 PM
Okay, here's the situation. I need to run a wii sensor bar to a location through a wall, only I can't put the cable through the wall anymore, as the walls are finished and a 20 dollar item isn't grounds for a several thousand dollar wall adjustment. So, my options are pretty limited...power the sensor bar through a local outlet, or a wireless option. My question is regarding powering it through local means. Is there a wii sensor bar or third party variation that can be plugged into an outlet, and if not, does anyone have a page or an idea of where I can go to find specifications for modifying it to use an ac adapter? Before anyone suggests candles or flashlights or anything, not an option, the bar is the most asthetically pleasing and has to be used.

I looked around already for simple voltage specs, and only found info from people who either couldn't speak english or typed horribly, but what I managed to gather was the bar is 7.5-12 volts, though third party bars are 5-6 volts. Also didn't get if that was ac or dc, which was problematic. If anyone could even tell me that, I'd be essentially set in stone. Thanks in advance.

I remember dark city, haven't seen it in like 10 years I think. First time I ever saw Rufus Sewell in a movie. Good actor, just seems to get lame-ish roles.
