So I just finished the main story last night, and I gotta sag, the battle system threw me off for a while, and the story was a bit cheesy, but the experience was great. Hands down the best characters in a tales game, outside Richard who realy creeped me out at times (his asbel adoration was borderline stalker). I'm probably a bit out there for my opinion, but the humor is what kept me interested. Between the skits, pascal in general, and the hilarious winquotes, I truly loved every minute of the exploration and sidequest venturing. Even the battle system grew on me, though I hate the dualizing and tempering weapons shit. I was using Bryce's Knuckles on Sophie for 70% of the game, cuz nothing else gave her better power. Then I realized when I started to use her that she had no CC compared to asbel who had like 25 at max. Now I use a weapon with half the attack stats and double the max cc. Talk about frustrating.

Just started Lineage and Legacies, which is apparently almost as long as the actual game. Accel mode hasn't impressed me yet, outside a quick way to restore CC for asbel.

Starmongoose, when you contact the bank again about your funds, if they don't have a good answer, ask them what tbey're buying you for dinner then, since they have all your money and you have no food left. Better yet, ask if they're going to pay your bills for the month, since the first is a week away. My favorite one is ask when you can move into their house seeing as if you can't pay rent you're going to be homeless soon.

I'll say one thing about LoL, grinding wasn't boring, but the big problem came from keeping your items and equipment up to date. Money was always a bit short for me, and my armor was always a bit outdated. But fighting in the game was enjoyable, so I never minded hanging back and smacking a few extra mobs for some bankroll. It was even more fun running to areas you shouldn't be at yet for better enemies and more exp/money.

I wanted to toss another psx rpg out for suggestion...though some may dislike it. Beyond the Beyond. I enjoyed it, though it was pretty damn hard at times. It's been years since I played it though, so I may be a bit fuzzy on my memory of it though.

FFII: Perpetually in Flux Warriors

(Since your stats are always changing and all. XD )

And you forgot two.

FFX-2: Ska...er...'Girly' Warriors

FFXIII-2: Chrono-Paradox Hard-Rockin' Chocobo Warriors
I didn't want to use the direct sequels or secondary titles like tactics and crystal chronicles probably could have made em, but I was lazy.

Cleaning, packing and shaving my head today.
Why are you shaving your head?

A) It's hot

B) I have a fucking annoying cowlick.
I thought it was a sanitary issue, going to a different country to work and such...

I have a helmet on, the hair helps cushion it snugly yet comfortably on my head.

FFI: Warriors of Light

FFII: (still working on it)

FFIII: Onion Warriors

FFIV: Moon Warriors

FFV: Crystal Warriors

FFVI: Lots of Warriors (srsly)

FFVII: Emo Warriors

FFVIII: Forgetful Warriors (worst plot twist ever)

FFIX: Super Deformed Warriors....that was a step backwards >_>

FFX: Imaginary Warriors

FFXI: Massively Multiplayer Warriors

FFXII: Pirate Warriors....err warrior. Everyone else sucked.

FFXIII: One fine ass Warrior.

FFXIV: Seriously in need of Warriors...

I can't come up with a good FFII quip. I was thinking the random stat increase warriors....but it sounded lame.

Rune Fencer...the elvaan chick looks coolish, otherwise it would appear to be a rdm without healing and heavier armor and maybe greatswords.

I guess I should put this up too...

FFTactics: Anything prior to chapter 2 was monk with dual wield as a support and whatever backup job you liked. Prioritize physical power with stuff like power wrists, headgears, twist headbands, judo uniforms and such, and you had a monk that could generally 1 shot any normal enemy, and if they missed the first hit they'd attack twice thanks to dual wielded fists, lol. I generally spent chapter 2 grinding for jp, classes and moves, and new items (always use a mediator, thieves take too long to steal gear). My monk always had squire support for accumulate, so if he didn't reach you to hit you that round, he'd hit you that much harder next round.

Post chapter 2 it depends on which version you are playing. Psp version, get a dark knight, they rape the field. Psx, switch your monk to a ninja and give it martial arts.  Enemies can hit harder, so the ninja's evasiveness can save your ass at times...unless you are like me and teach everyone blade grasp through samurai, then fuck all, monks + dual wield is the most broken non-orlandu class combo in game. Ninja's can travel further per turn, but monks ALWAYS kill what they hit.

Does getting the Erde Kaiser's in Xenosaga count? They sure do make the game easier.
Erde Kaiser doesn't make it easier, it kills the difficulty. Of course....then there's erde kaiser sigma....lol.

SotN: Shield Rod + Alucard Armor = Dracula insta-kill. This is well known. This is one of the many reasons I didn't like the last half of SotN.

SMT: Nocturne - Not really a quick way to beat a boss, but I DID beat the Fates by causing them to run out of MP by using MP drain techniques /offensively/. This sort of short circuits their AI and the rest of the fight is a breeerb.

Sparkle titties.

FFVIII - Degenerator.
It's the Alucard Shield, not the armor. When you use it with the shield rod, you become invincible as long as the shield is out and inflict 255 damage which you also absorb. It's one of many things that breaks the game. There's also the crissagraem, the ring of varda, the duplicator,  and if you have the dexterity, double jump drop kicks allow you to go places you shouldn't be yet. As awesome a game as it was, it was full of amazing ways to turn any difficulty in the game off.

I wouldn't have minded the bending restoring in like season 3 or something, but this was too fast. I mean, in the original aang only knew airbending, and learned the rest along the way. Not saying this series should have been the same, but they could have elaborated a bit using her depowered form as a way to reintroduce the elements. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the episode, it's just stuff I think would have given Korra more meat for upcoming seasons. Now, they have to essentially re-reinvent the wheel. Where do they go from here? It's a bit risky if you ask me, unless the writers have this all planned out already...in which case touche.

Also, technically now there is a fifth native air bender...probably (cough* rohan). It's also not mentioned if Bhumi can bend air or water, though I'd bet safely it's one or the other.

for those that like adult swim randomness, check out Eagleheart. Chris Elliot's spoof on a Walker Texas Ranger thing. Absolutely awesome.
It's sort of hit or miss for me. I think Chris Elliot is awesome and all, but sometimes it's a little boring. Though I will say outright I love the red headed chick.
