I call horseshit on the puny sizes here. All my life, I've never seen a 3-4xl size video game shirt. Sorry I'm a bit on the big side, as being 6'2" and 350lbs isn't exactly a desire of mine, but I'd like to buy a video game themed shirt too.

Oh and you're all a bunch of teeny weeny bitches.

BoF1 and 2 are just broken and stupid.

My favorite SNES RPGs were probably Terranigma and Earthbound.
The problem with earthbound is trying to afford it if you're buying it as a cartridge. I remember buying my original copy at 100 bucks and that was 20-ish years ago. Now....I'd be lucky to find JUST the cartridge in a broken but useable state for that price. However, if money isn't an issue, earthbound ascends to the top of my recommendations list. The easiest rpg anyone can find, with a very silly, entertaining story and the greatest rpg mascot this side of a chocobo riding moogle, Mr. saturn (boing).

I already have OiF on my PSP, I enjoyed it but really see no reason to buy it again.

Origin looks cool, so long as I can use a controller.

Yes, a controller on a PC game, I don't like the control schemes on PC, wanna fight about it? :S
Forever my reason for great dislike of pc gaming. Gimme my controller or gtfo.

Super Mario RPG is pretty original by rpg standards. To rule it out just because it doesn't "feel right" is, honestly, silly. If you have access to it, you should try it. I mean, you did say you were an rpg rookie and asked for advice. More than one of us suggested it, it probably means it's worth a shot.

My point rxactly draak. A 17 year old game had more story content and didn't need all the fancy dlc. Granted...it wasn't an option but still. It's like companies just decided that because the option is viable, they have to use it now, and since it takes more time to make content after the game is done they should get more money.
2421  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Mass Effect 3 (expect ME1&2 spoilers) on: March 15, 2012, 10:40:48 AM
I think donating money as a show of discontent (?) is vastly different and a better use of said money then paying a game developer and publisher more money for content that could have been put in the actual game before release. I don't like how companies seem to use it as an excuse to leave content out and sell it later. Chrono trigger didn't have parts left out, ffvii didn't leave out a any of its sidequests, Tales of symphonia didn't cut content out(well at least in the u.s.). All these games had long stories too, easily trumping mass effect 3's main story in terms of length. Yes, quality vs quantity, mass effect wins (at least til the ending heh heh), but I didn't see a petition for a re-written ending for Chrono Trigger, did any anyone else?

For a rookie rpg player, I'd recommend Suprr Mario RPG. Easy to pick up, good story, not much of a grind fest though grinding in it is rather enjoyable, and a cameo final fantasy iv boss fight.

K, I think I should redo my name finally, some people haven't quite gotten the joke yet. But yeah, I knew jin was SUPPOSED to play a more major role originally in 1, but they dumbed him down to an offscreen conversation, and used a still image to present him in game. Lame as fuck, I say. At least they changed his voice actor to something decent.

I'm half tempted to donate. I mean, it is a good cause, and maybe it will finally show developers that we as the gamers actually do hold a few cards.

Throw me a steak and I'll do anything.
Hold on, what kind of steak? Rib eye, skirt, strip, hangar, sirloin, flank....etc etc?

I'm partial to NY strip steak honestly.

Unfortunately, it also means that he'll probably be back to seek attention in the near future.

It's nice to know that if I ever get banned, I can just create another account under a different email address and everything will be fine.
Not exactly, your ip is still gonna be the same. If the admins are doing their job, they ouvhta notice it quick and slam the hammer of ban once more.

Dude, change both of those to a pot roast dinner and I'll show you a woman who just stole my heart.

I'm always up for more lulz.
God how do you NOT get banned dude? I love your shenanigans, but you are the world's best troll.

Though I also admit, I would have missed out on my previous Ys experience had it not been for your input, so guys don't ban parn please.

I use the expensive fluoride shit.  Always looking for a good tooth paste though.  I don't think any brand actually "whitens teeth"... except for actual whitening strips.  Anyone tried them?  I got through, at max, about 6/7 out of the 10 days you do it.  The sensitivity is absolutely brutal.

Worst thing for breath?  Pizza with the garlic dipping sauce.  You can brush, chew the mintiest gum, brush again, drink soda, drink water, brush.... but you will not get rid of garlic breath after that shit.  But it's so damned good!!  What do you do?!!?
I could suggest a stronger mint drop, but honestly, gargle with (bare with me) vinegar. It will clear that smell out pretty good...and replace it with a different smell. But at least it's not garlic.

Yeah, douche your mouth
If it works for your lady parts, it should work for pretty much anything. My landlord cleans our hallway with vinegar, so it always smells like that in my house.

Personally, I enjoy garlic, smells like momma's sunday dinner in your mouth, lol.
