I have no urge to start wading through this topic to find it, but wasn't Zestiria supposed to be released worldwide simultaneously?

Pretty sure I got that by fighting someone specific under the Moonbucks.  Not sure if you can or can't get it after you've completed that area.
If you ....errr...
Code:
rebuild the moonbucks through the architect
the teleporter is still there. Could I be so lucky?

For grinding, the photographer (journalist?  I changed her name.) has a handy skill - Duplicate.  She copies an enemy, at its current HP.  I bumped up the difficulty a bit, left her in the party, and got about a gajillion XP per fight, just getting one Anchory Bird down to a couple of HP, having her duplicate it, then having someone knock it out.  And I don't know if it's the skill or her speed, but Duplicate always goes first.

Oh, and that also nets you a ton of "bonus XP" for fighting "a group."  I think that all goes to talent XP, which is great if you have people who need that.
Yeah, I was doing that with bloated toads and then one shotting them with the baker. I usually kept 2 alive cuz my baker had about 10 levels on my photographer and would kill stuff before she got a turn.

Question, where the hell is the Special Blend so I can recruit the damned Barista already? She's annoying me...just standing there, waiting to get recruited.

The 3DS version has an auto-save so no worries there if you forget to manually save.
All the versions have auto save, it just doesn't save every few minutes or anything like that. When using the VR arena, you just stand at a computer and keep selecting enemies, no moving from zones to trigger the save. I should point out that I lost no actual progress, just tons of levels..

Double postage, but this one has merit.

Seems that a lot of people are experiencing a bug or glitch or something involving the VR arena. If you battle for a while there, the game bugs out and shuts off. It happened to me after a solid 2 hours of leveling citizens to 20 for the yoga instructor. So here's some advice to new people starting the game...save often when grinding.

Or lose 15 levels from your highest level characters and 6 level 20 citizens.

Idk if I would call this spoilers, but in the police station in the demo, if you check the computer, it gives you a text prompt that says something about watching out for a "spiteful looking boy" beating up crows with a "cracked bat". I legitimately chuckled when I read that.

The big criticisms I've read are repititive gameplay and a lack of innovation. Reviewers are calling it cute for like the first few hours then it just gets massively grindy and bleh. To be fair, it's an indie game that is paying homage to earthbound, what did people expect, modified ATB or LMBS gameplay elements? It's understandable for people new to the style of game to be depressed by this but this game was obviously reaching out to the oldschool fans. That being said, I was impressed by the demo, though the constant loading screens going from one building to another can become....annoying.

He's not the best, but Matthew Mc...god his name is annoying to type out...has done some good stuff. He just gets tagged in some shitty stuff all too often. I mean, magic mike? Ghosts of girlfriends past? I know there are plenty more but I'm having a brainfart. Plus, it's not like he is actually bad in those movies, just the movie itself is bad.

Honestly, screw the haters, I liked Reign of Fire.

I actually liked Reign of Fire too. But more in an Evil Dead/Army of Darkness laul kind of way, so I figured it merited inclusion.
It's an awful movie, but still kind of entertaining. The dragon is bad ass.
Aren't dragon's always badass?

Those boots didn't even have wings on them! I call bull on them being boots of swiftness.

te, if people really wanna whine about Samus, whine about that fucking hairdo, such a sad thing to give the Queen of Nintendo)

Not to stop anyone from enjoying their ponytail fetish, but yeah, I kinda prefer her wild untamed hair from her earlier days than tied up. :D
I think even she likes it more, she smiles more here than her entire run in the Zero Suit ver. :P
Hell yeah to the flowing freestyle hair. It even covers one of her eyes, which is anime for sexy badass. I don't mind the ponytail on her but that fucking forehead dome she has for bangs is just....ungh.

Show of hands, does anyone think they'll ever do a Calculator Job? That way you could totally break the game completely. :3
...I hate you.

@Dice

Actually the part about high heels being good for preventing back pain in women isn't bullshit "entirely". I watched some early morning news segment about fashion once and they had a podiatrist talk about how the recent trend of women wearing more flats and flat soled boots is actually causing early onset back problems. It's mostly an opinion based on very little more than women being asked what shoes they like to wear and if they experience back pain more frequently, or at least that's what I gathered from it ( I was half awake, only watched it cuz the girl doing the piece was cute). Still, some science there, so take it as you will. Honestly, heels do nothing for me on a sexualization level, they either fit the outfit or they don't. In Samus' case they don't at all, but meh.

Long story short 90% of the post was just me making fun of people losing their shit over NOTHING THAT FUCKING MATTERS AT ALL.

(Side note, if people really wanna whine about Samus, whine about that fucking hairdo, such a sad thing to give the Queen of Nintendo)

I have to ask something regarding Samus and her rocket heels.

How come Iron Man doesn't have rocket heels in his armor, and where does his fuel come from. Also, where does Samus store her rocket fuel for her heels? Maybe in her bra area, which would explain the expanded chest size?

Also of note, are they actually rocket heels, or are they anti gravity boo...err heels? Maybe they're space jump boots actually, just in a sleeker form cuz they aren't programmed into her power suit. Or maybe they're the space jump boots program in a normal pair of chozo heels? I mean those were some ugly bird-like people, I would assume they lack fashion sense to a tremendous degree.

Did you know that doctors actually agree that women who wear flat-soled shoes and footwear too much develop back problems earlier in life? Maybe the doctors at Nintendo didn't want Samus to develop back problems early in life, I mean she's already a stick and she's 6 foot 3 inches or sometbing, plus that huge chest...I mean she's just screaming chronic pain in her early 40s. Perhaps it's for the best that she starts wearing heels, put some of that stress on her calves.

Nothing like brain storming about video game characters in the early morning.
75  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Approaching DLC. Advice/Help please. on: January 14, 2015, 07:50:11 AM
DLC usually is just an offset to the main story, a way to keep you in the game that you enjoyed so thorougly. That being said, if you like the game a lot and wanna keep playing, buy the dlc. It's just there to keep you playing after the main story is finished.
