Now that I'm working on both Project X Zone and Resonance of Fate simultaneously, I can say without any hesitation that Vashyron is a total creep.

The only tattoo I would ever get would be the Keyblade Master insignia from Kingdom Hearts. Small and discreet, but recognizable and purposeful.

I don't know, I sometimes enjoyed the way the character drama was presented in XIII. Hope confronting Snow and the stuff surrounding Sazh's Eidolon summon were two of my favorite moments in that game.

So in the continued quest to recover all the games I traded in when I got rid of my XBox, I just picked up the PS3 version of Eternal Sonata today, and thanks to Dice's recent playthrough it's taking every ounce of willpower I have not to play through it again starting right now.

My entire days feel like they're being taken over by my doctor's orders to soak my foot twice a day. It's only a half an hour in the morning and half an hour at night, but for someone like me (aka insane) it's really killing my daily schedule trying to fit other things around it. I'm able to get things done while my foot is soaking but, I don't know, it still throws me off. Oh well, it *seems* to be working (crossing fingers & knocking on wood) so I'll keep it up.

Got three of the five joke convos. The other two I technically did the prerequisites for, just didn't stand around doing nothing for long enough. >_>

Finally realized what throws me off about the beginning missions of Resonance of Fate. It's one of the only JRPG's I've played that doesn't have a main/supporting character that acts like he/she knows absolutely nothing about their own world or what their role in it is for the sake of exposition. Sega just says, "Here's some NPC's that talk about current happenings, figure it out yourself moron!" And I really like that about the game.

Also just rented a game for the first time in a very long time. Dynasty Warriors 8, time to see what this shit is all about.

I say good riddance to Story Mode.

It was so weird in Brawl that you could unlock characters by fulfilling mild to difficult challenges.... or just play through enough of SSE.

I'm siding with those who say it's a great game, but certainly not devoid of problems. Can't rule it out for GOTY though since my experiences with what few games I've played this year haven't really matched up to the GOOD points of Last of Us. Some of the more bothersome things with the game, though:

- NPC's talking to Joel or each other from three rooms away while you're looking for supplies and collectibles, making it impossible to hear anything but Joel's responses and thus missing interesting dialogue.

- A couple of small glitches I experienced including once when the game refused to even start up and crashed my PS3, and another where three times the ending cutscene froze and crashed my PS3. Honestly, I feel like ND pushed the PS3 a little too far with this game. Fantastic fidelity, not so great stability.

- I've already mentioned the collectible problem, but not earning trophies doesn't really take anything away from the game, still there were a lot of moments where the game was trying to rush me past points where I felt like I should be looking around.

Again, very minor things but I noticed them enough to pull me out of what was otherwise a great game.

Well yeah, but headshots are special. I'm talking about body shots since headshot are one shot kill on anything but bloaters with any weapon I think.

In the later game, a lot of that depends on upgrades, particularly of the armor piercing variety. I know the 9mm requires two headshots on soldiers with helmets.

Two words: Cheri White.

Seriously, it's been sooo long since a game made me laugh as hard as the play scene in Tales of Graces F. So much awesome. You could tell the VA's had fun with it too, something about the way Cheria says "YYEEEESSS" had me dying.

I abused the hell out of the flamethrower, especially in the Tunnel where fuel was EVERYWHERE.

Only part of the ending I truly had to stop and think about was when Joel finished off Marlene.

He says "You'll just come after her." And to that all I could think of was "And the rest of the Fireflies won't!?"

Only explanation I have is that ND was trying to show just how dissonant Joel's sense of compassion was at that point. If so, bravo, because it made the ending truly unique. So many character arcs in works like this end at all or nothing, good or bad, that's it's interesting to see one that ends somewhere in between.

That looks like Chelsea Peretti (spelling optional). She is one funny gal.

I am getting so pissed at Microsoft for all these turnarounds. Not because they're bad for the industry, I think they're awesome for the industry. But it garners more support for Microsoft who have now shown not only are they willing to try and screw over their customers as much as they're allowed, but also that they're incredibly disingenuous.

Yeah, after the Uncharted games I just say fuck it to trophies for Naughty Dog games. I love collectibles, I adore them far more than any person should. But there is NO reason for them to be in a linear game with no level select or such. Yeah, the notes tell some interesting stories, but they shouldn't count towards some arbitrary collection percentage.
