Number Two's eyes narrowed and became what are known in the Shouting and Killing People trade as cold slits, the idea presumable being to give your opponent the impression that you have lost your glasses or are having difficulty keeping awake. Why this is frightening is an, as yet, unresolved problem.

I still can't get overthat Paul Eiding (voice actor of Colonel Roy Campbell) did the voice of Gally and the Narrator from this game. Oddly enough, the music from this game is really catchy in my opinion. Even Gally's theme has a Castlevania Symphony of the Night Flavor to it:

Evil Zone - Road for Oneself (Gally "Vanish")

(Also, the only comment on this video is hysterical if you played the game: "Don't run away from this song its a classic")

Here's something different from Evil Zone though...

Cryamore - Climb, Lest I Fall
The nerd in me geeks out when it changes from Orchestral Samples to the 8-bit timbres. An example of this is like how the snare from the first half the piece @0:00-1:16, which then is replaced a noise channel timbre used for the percussion. I live for nuances in music...a great job to Aivi Tran for this! I'm really excited about this game's soundtrack, as it is still in development (the game hasn't been finished yet).

Cryamore has fantastic music. I'm actually trying to wrangle an interview with Aivi Tran. She's very talented.

I can't say Kaneko has a talent for designing things women would wear at all. Jinana in Digital Devil Saga for an example.

Of course her mark was on her butt cheek so..

Because dudes totally wear the jumpsuits Serph and co were sporting ;)

Sword & Sworcery - Lone Star

I love how the driving percussion sounds like someone shaking a box of pennies.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPuzDEw0DvQ Really fantastic remix of that track.

Also, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYmB3ZtGcdA from Mitsuda's Lime Odyssey OST. Crazy good.

Heard about this this morning. Will enjoy getting it for $20 at launch because CAG is awesome.

I think that's a disingenuous comparison-- I'm not familiar with Doi's other works, but assuming that he can't create something unique just because of what he's done in the past (which I know nothing about) seems unfair. Appealing to a wider audience is still possible while maintaining a connection to what has come before. I definitely think the game still looks like SMT, but iwth it's own flavor.

I started messing around on Deepwood. I like the skill system.

That's such a casual and humble way of saying 'WE 'GON TRY TO BLOW YOUR MIND.'

Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep - Enter the Void

I could probably write an essay about what makes that such an amazing battle theme.

Good choice.

Yeah, I wouldn't wan the design changed. I'd also never ever play with anyone but friends, since they're the only people I'm ever interested in gaming with. Randoms hold no appeal for me in anything.

You are correct. Standard Tales, only online. It would be glorious .

Would I be late to the party if I pointed out that I find it stupid that not only is there no cross buy (which is fine, I guess, it's not a Sony title), but there is also no cross-platform multiplayer in a game that allows save transfer and seems to have complete parity between both versions?

I'm sure there's a reason for it, but that doesn't make it any less lame.

I think Nintendo owns the rights to ToS' English localization. I could be wrong, but I'm almost positive that's why we didn't get the PS2 version to begin with. I want to believe, but I wouldn't hold my breath on this coming stateside.

Also, when are they going to add online play to the Tales series? All my Tales buddies live in different states.

I love Saints 3. I need to go back and beat it - that game is ridiculously purple and cracky. I should take a pic of my character, I made sure she fit in the game's wackiness.

I only play coop with my buddy. We've dressed up like Archer and Krieger from Archer and drive around in a white fan with purple lights and tinted windows.

It's brick stupid but highly entertaining.

This looks like the most retarded, nonsense, but awesome experience ever. Haha

So kinda like Saint's Row 3? :)
