Is that the one that our guest Don picked?

15 - Piano Track for the Sake of Ethics / Drag-on Dragoon III

?

EDIT

And FYI, if you missed it, the tracklist is included on the Music Week feature page:

You guys have been neglected.

http://www.rpgfan.com/news/2014/1256.html

Not anymore. Check back every day this week for awesome music-related content, and for parts 1 through 3 of the biggest (7 hours!) Rhythm Encounter ever.

Your picks will be in part 3, so definitely listen to that one for shoutouts and listener's choice. This first ep has Don from Square Enix Music Online and Mac from RPGamer, along with some new and old RPGFan editors!

I'm not a huge fan of Amano's style for characters. His environments are always drop-dead gorgeous, but I've never really enjoyed his designs for people.

That said, great piece for this. Really excited for the game.

Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on a level 1 challenge.

Fighting Terra and the OXIII data fights and finally winning was a process that took weeks, if not a few months. Most challenging and most satisfying victory ever.

EDIT:

Without cheesing the stat-boosting items.

Yeah, I'd go as far as to say the patch has legitimized Wizard far beyond anything it ever was before. I feel much more in control of my ability to stay alive than ever, and making sacrifices to my toughness to raise damage or give myself other abilities feels like a meaningful character-building choice now.

One of the final battle tunes from Bravely Default.

AKA: Why I think the game's OST is knock-you-on-your-ass amazing.

EDIT:

No spoilers on the video title.

EDIT

But apparently in the video description. So uh, don't read that? :)

Really liked that Grand Knights History track.

I had a giant box full of random legos, good times.

I am an avid Lego fan, and was also an avid Lego Movie fan. <3

You know, I'm the first person to admit I'm not into mobile gaming AT ALL, but I have to admit, even in spite of my overwhelming skepticism, I thought that trailer made the game look good. I'd play that if they released it on a system with buttons.

if you missed teh FFXIV stream, don't worry-- I'll be streaming some endgame content again soon! And to echo Dave and everyone else, we are looking for ways to make it more obvious (other than major update slots, of course!)
596  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: RPGFan's Twitch Channel on: February 25, 2014, 03:03:45 PM
We're trying to get podcast people streaming. I myself have streamed FFXIV endgame content and the PS4 beta, and we want to get Rob to do Dark Souls II (mostly so I can harass him every time he dies, but I digress).

I find it's an interesting way to interact with people and have enjoyable discussions, especially if the game in question is something people have specific queries about. There are about 120 people watching the FFXIV beta stream I ran, and I got to answer a lot of questions and show off a little of the PS4 version's features.

I want to play this. Sports RPGs are such a great idea, and I'll never forget the glory of Mario Golf RPG.

Monsoon is right, Stephen understands. :]

Sorry we've been quiet lately-- working on *cough* something I think you music-lovers will enjoy.

Al, I'm actually quite impressed by those M&MX tracks. I've wanted to play that for a while, because I'm a big fan of the genre. Those videos you linked sounded cool-- and the game looked like something I'd enjoy, too! Also, I can't tell if you're joking about Eternity or not, but that's my favorite joke song ever. It's from Blue Dragon, and it's sung by Ian Gillam from Deep Purple :D It's definitely bonkers and fun to listen to though. Editor Brian Tomlinson has nightmares related to this song, maybe you can get him to tell you why sometime.

Arklight--
I get sad the more I hear FE:A's OST, because I disliked the game so much but the music is SO GOOD. I love both of those that you linked. We've already got some FE:A in the upcoming episode(s), but I'll see about getting one more of yours in the audience section ;) Also, I was really surprised by that Sen no Kiseki track-- that IS ridiculous epic. Another listener, Retta (I'm listening to your picks, I promise!) sent me a ton of Sen no Kiseki tracks, and I have to say I've been more than impressed (and not just Falcom-impressed) by what I've heard from it. I might have to try it out sometime. I was a big fan of that Snowbelle City track, too.

(Also BK:O all of the time!)

I'm a big fan myself. What I've played of the PS4 beta tells me that it's going to be a great option for a lot of people.

Remote play is fun (though UI scaling and the ability to save a few different UI configurations would make it REALLY viable), and it runs nice and smoothly.

Haven't tried out mouse/kb mode on PS4 yet though.

Between a possible Phantom Dust II and a Lost Odyssey II, I'd probably have to shift my "never getting an XB1" stance to "hnngh"
