Yeah, considering when D2 came out, your options were... Diablo and Diablo 2. We're all fuckin' spoiled. :)

After spending more time with this game, I'm pretty confident I won't be picking it up again, save for wanting to kill a few minutes. I haven't had a single "I love this game" moment-- it just feels like I'm playing a super modern Diablo 2-- which is fine, but there have been 500 other hack and slash action RPGs just like this since then, and this one just feels like 'one of many.' It's an objectively solid game, but I'm getting absolutely nothing out of it. Diablo 3 felt more refreshing and original to me, especially in the combat department-- there may have been less surface-level customization, but when I leveled up I felt like things were really changing, and the way skills were given made for a much more rewarding playtime for me. I doubt I'll pick up D3 again, but I got a good hundred hours out of that and enjoyed every moment, whereas here I feel like the whole thing is just 'meh.'
The only area I feel like T2 outshines D3 is in the loot, and even then, that's only because it's basically just a jacked-up Diablo 2.
In much the way I feel like a lot of hate was thrown at Diablo 3 because of huge expectations, I feel like this game gets a free pass because it ISN'T Diablo 3, it's Diablo 2.5. Again, not to disparage anyone who feels different or really loves this game-- I can totally understand that and appreciate it. But I prefer the fresher, different experience of D3 to Torch2's "oh hi I'm Diablo 2 with more twisty knobs." Maybe this game gets longer legs because of that, but for me, the experience just feels stale.

I was enjoying the game at first, but I just got really bored with it and haven't had an urge to play at all. It's more of a time waster for me than something I'd actually sit down with the intention to play. Could also have something to do with my Borderlands 2 obsession.

So far, I'm enjoying Torchlight 2. As Dave said, it's very polished, and there's a lot of fun to be had. On the other hand, I feel like both games (D3 and T2) are equally polished, but I found the combat much more satisfying in Diablo 3. The loot system is more interesting in Torch 2, but again, the basic "click this guy, watch him explode" is better, I think, in Diablo 3. Part of that cames from Torch 2's approach-- Diablo 3 was trying to "change things," where as Torch 2 wants to just refine what already exists. There's room for both games, but in all honesty, in a month I doubt I'll be playing either of them.
I will be playing BORDERLANDS.

Yeah, I beat KH3DS, and they should have been hinting at a KH3. Assholes.
And of course, they leave out KH2 and BBS so they can release KH2.5 HD with BBS, KH2, and Re:coded. -_-.
I'll buy this, because sure, it'll be nice to have KH1 and Re:CoM in HD, and if they touch up the
EDIT: The graphics, the horrible controls, and the really lame progression scheme in Days*

I've heard a bunch of these before, and they are freaking fantastic. REVO has a lot of really great original albums where he basically tells a story alongside a sort of 'rock opera,' and they're great listens. You can definitely hear his style in these, and it bodes very well for the game's soundtrack as a whole.
Indeed. His 7th album, Märchen, is so good they ought to make a videogame to match the music. Or at least an anime. I'm psyched about Bravely Default and the "Linked Horizon" side projects. Not that I can afford everything coming out (they already released ... two singles?) Don from SEMO linked me to the Linked Horizon samples that are out, and everything I've heard so far has been really great. I wish I had known about REVO sooner, because he is rad.
