Ah hahaha, whoops, sorry about that.

No worries, I'm just being a shill :)

On my end, it's not being talked about more because there isn't anything TO talk about. Game's set to come out in late summer/fall IIRC, and I don't care to follow every piece of information until I basically see everything the game has to show.

Though since this has been brought up: let's link to the soundtrack on Amazon.com and iTunes.

Let's ALSO link to our REVIEW of said soundtrack

I've said this before, but I think the price of the Vita is perfectly fair for what you're getting.  It's a very powerful system, and it's kind of unreasonable to expect it to cost the same as a 3DS or something.

Now the price of the memory cards, on the other hand...and I had to get two so I could access JP PSN stuff.  Well, still a lot cheaper than having to buy two systems...

Ditto.  I don't think the Vita is badly priced either, but for what you get with the memory cards as far as memory size and read/write speed, it's a freakin rip.

You know, I totally sympathize with where people are coming from regarding memory card prices, but I can't for the life of me figure out why so many complain about the read/write speeds of the memory card. When actually using a Vita, the speeds have no practical impact on your experience (at least, not on mine). Games load plenty fast, there's no lag, saving screenshots or downloading stuff is totally quick, etc etc. Again, while I agree that the prices are a bit steep, I think the complaints about read/write speed have no practical impact on your experience with the system.

So, how'd people feel about the new DLC?

Just dropped for the $45 tier, gets me a copy of Wasteland 2, as well. The plot summary and general flavor of the story in this game already sound fan-fucking-tastic. I have high hopes.

Now to go play Planescape for the first time.

Eidos Montreal is a passionate and talented team of developers. I've never played a Thief game ever and I will buy this to support them. Also DXHR was awesome.

I hope it's not truly the clusterfuck that that post makes it sound like.

The soundtrack alone makes the game an auditory feast *cough*shill*cough*http://www.rpgfan.com/soundtracks/bravelydefault/index.html*cough*

On my way to finishing God of War 3.

Is it just me, or did they seem to really amp up the violence in this one?

No. It made a lot of people (even some fans) feel sick with how violence was portrayed in the game, and it didn't help either that Kratos was a douchebag with his "I'm angry as fuck" shit throughout the entire game that made his character more unlikable than anything else.

I kinda played it going "well, I'm the bad guy in this one." The gods were douches, but Kratos was like 'psh fuck all you I'm going to destroy the world to slake my thirst for revenge." He's not particularly likeable.

Appearance altering equipment confirmed for SMTIV. Now you too can constantly look like a mismatched doof with no fashion sense whatsoever.

I'm going to be killing my demons in style; full suit and tie. Assuming I'll be able to do that.

You probably can, as long as you don't mind the crippling Phys weakness.

I'm hoping that a) this extends to other playable party members, and b) that there's at least one ruffled shirt option available.

Someone said something about suits?

I don't really like any of the DQ games, and I never really enjoyed FFIII either, so I'll have to abstain from this round!
748  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Devil Survivor 2: Break Code announced for 3DS on: March 03, 2013, 09:06:03 PM
Now I'm glad I never got around to playing this on DS. I loved DS1 and DS:O, so this will be a day one for me.
749  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: Phantasy Star Online 2 on: March 02, 2013, 03:44:15 PM
Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking, was that it was basically a "if you can't access your PC version and are in a place with internet then sure, go for it." You said you dig the game though-- that's good. When I played the PC beta, I was pretty astounded by how much more responsive and fluid it was than PSU when it came out.
750  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Round 3: Advance Wars vs. Fire Emblem on: March 02, 2013, 02:27:52 PM
I think that Advance Wars 2 and Advance Wars: Dual Strike are better than any Fire Emblem game that I've beaten (4, 6, 7, 8, and the DS remake of 3.1), especially when you throw in multiplayer.  Days of Ruin wasn't very good, but neither was Radiant Dawn.  I'm going to give AW the edge for fun multiplayer and for how awesome Dual Strike is.

Dual Strike was really, really good. Agreed here.
