Just beat (P4 second possible victim boss spoiler)

Code:
Kanji's shadow. Loving the very hard mode. Awesome boss fight, had to use everything I had. Last minute, thought he was going to kill me, but I had a phys-reflect shield on my hero. Boss decides to use assault rush on him. Boink, doink, victory for me. <3

This game is ALL OF THE FUNS.

I love the controller

Same.

I watched my best buddy play the first two dungeons, but I never put my hands on it. I've gotten to the second stratum (or whatever they're c alled in P3) about four times in P3. Maybe after I finish P4, I'll go back to P3P!

I actually got a copy of this, and I thought it was great. I'm reviewing it this week, actually. I had a friend rip the LP for me, so I can listen to it in my record player-less apartment.

This album made me love Opera Maria and Draco. Never cared about it before. Right around 11:30, oh man.

The production quality on the blu-ray is great, but I was disappointed that there was no video of the performance.

I never played the original P4, and this game has me 100% in its hooks. Playing in very hard to offset what I hear is a reduced level of difficulty due to shuffle time being different (?), and so far I'm finding it just the right level of challenge. Also, the cast is fucking awesome, and there is so much to do.

Rob said on the podcast once that this series is like chocolate and peanut butter. He's right.

I played the demo for this some more, and I think I might try renting it. (wah want PC version). What I've seen from later in the game looks pretty solid, if absurd. I'm feeling a bit warmer towards it after having played and loved DmC.

Won't be playing this game anymore, but I did laugh my ass off at this picture and thought the rest of you would enjoy:

15 hours in P4G. This game is everything that is right with JRPGs.

That guy on the right has a haircut.

While I wasn't thrilled by any of the games today (other than InFamous, because I love Infamous), the hardware itself looked solid. Sony's been taking an "everything and the kitchen sink" approach to control methods, and it's one that I think works fantastically with Vita. If the price is right, this could be the only console I'm interested in.

I have become one with PC.

So they're trying to make Dark Souls again. Hmm.

I'm okay with it.

And it got that, along with IS getting a translation at all. EP actually had a very good translation

The goodness of a woman isn't in her bra.

Is this somehow a bad example?

Yeah, that kind of baffles me. If he pulled out something like "This guy are sick" it'd be clear cut, but that actually looks like a line they'd keep.

+1

I don't know if it was just bad english but the one square guy said something that sounded like "i'm your sister's older brother" or some shit.

Dice back me up

I thought he said he was married to his sister.

You can tell he was more business than nerd though -- he failed his joke then quickly moved on instead of waiting for the tumbleweed.

I also loved the audience Blizz-tards clapping as soon as a rep came on -- I wonder how rock hard their nipples got.

...Why can't people just be fans of Blizzard and not Blizz-tards? I no understand.

You score another point for using that image.

Also, they mentioned third-party service integration. PC architecture + Steam library available on PS4 = something we need.

It's been 4 years, and given the sales of P2:IS and in Japan P2:EP there apparently weren't that many eager fans (though the fact it seems something else blocked release seems to indicate there's some odd problem that cropped up).

Plus if they REALLY didn't care they wouldn't even bother with the PS1 game, they hadn't been making a habit of bringing out anything pre-PS2 to digital services, why start now?

The original Persona *desperately* need a proper re-translation. P4 didn't.

Agreed. I wanted both P3:P and P4G much more than P1 and P2, personally.

Why in god's name would want a second version of games you've already played fairly recently? Or in P3's case - twice already?

Because I didn't play them already on consoles, and I hated P1 on PS1.
