Ghost Trick is a great DS game if you have not tried it. Danganronpa is also pretty good although I don't know if you own a Vita.

Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars is also really fun. I played it for the GBA although it is available elsewhere too.

Dincrest liked Another Code for Ds which sounds like what you want although I have no real experience with the game..

A suggestion that is a bit out of the box. I really liked it but it is definitely not for everyone.Lost in Blue 2 is like Survival Kids. You are trapped on a deserted Island and need to survive. Puzzles are kind of hit or miss and it can get repetitive but it was fun.

Just a heads up, Blade Dancer is part 1 of a series that never got another game. Don't know if that kind of thing bothers you but I thought you should know. I thought the game was alright. Nothing great but good enough that I finished it.

Z.H.P was loads of fun. One of my favourite NIS games. The gameplay didn't seem too hard outside of some boss fights but it has been years since I played it so I could be mistaken.

Shadow of the Colossus

Falling off the third colossi and struggling to get up while his sword comes crashing down. I kept cheering for Wander to get up.

Persona 4

The Contrarian King. This bastard casts Red Wall on himself at the beginning of battle. The skill removes fire weakness from whoever it was cast on. It finally wore off and I used a fire attack which healed him. The Red wall had been a red herring. I remember going "well i'll be..."  right before he rampaged me to death.

Dragon Age 2

When your mother slowly turned around while wearing that wedding dress. I kept going "No, they wouldn't, they can't! Holy shit, they did!

Watch your step as you approach the uncanny valley. It is a pretty long fall.

Freedom Wars - Cleared the Code 7 exam. It got a bit hairy towards the end but I managed it first go. Got to the Code 8 exam but the boss fight in the third battle destroyed me with his chains. Almost had him beat too. Going to try again tonight.

Project Diva f - Cleared all Normal songs. I have been using star killer and it has become a crutch. It was really useful when I was struggling big time in the beginning but I am trying to wean myself off it now that I am playing by listening to the msic rather than going by the visual cues. Not a fan of Sadistic Music Factory at all.

Up to chapter 4 in The Evil Within

I don't know if I am the wrong kind of person to play these type of games or if I am perfect for them. I am the kind of person who panics in horror games and end up unloading a full clip into a strong enemy or one that surprised me even though they are obviously dead. Gotta make sure! Probably not the best strategy when ammo is scarce but what can you do.

After listening to how much Ygg enjoyed The Evil Within, I decided to give it a spin. I am only at chapter 3 but it is really good so far. My only complaints are small ones such as standing up to open a door when you are in stealth mode. It kind of ruins the immersion.

Why would you subject yourself to 7 playthroughs of the main campaign, 2 playthroughs of additional DLC, and 200+ hours of multiplayer in an experience that did not engage you and left you "emotionally empty"? I am positive I am misinterpreting/missing something.

Because I know Naughty Dog is capable of doing better than a dramatic TV series for a game. But more than just that, the game didn't fit with all the other works the team did before. And the progresion they could have potentially make after Uncharted 3 was for something completely different, and that mixed with the feeling of emptiness that the game left me bothered me. So I kept playing and did some research on my own to understand my experience.

It was interesting going through all that in retrospective, but after all being said and done I have never felt in so much disagreement in the popularity and success of a game before like I did with TLoU.

It is the sheer amount of time played that I don't get. You must have played it for almost 300 hours with story playthroughs and multiplayer combined. I couldn't do that for a game I didn't really like. Especially since I recall you mentioning you hated the violence. I remember your game journal posts and you seem to feel the same way now as you did during your first playthrough.

Were you playing multiplayer with friends or randoms?

Is it safe to say it's similar to...say...Gods Eater or Lord of Arcana?

It is a bit different to God Eater but it has similarities. I will say it is way more like God Eater than Monster Hunter though. It is made by the same people after all.

It is a hunting game but I wouldn't call it a Monster Hunter clone. The two are really different. Monster Hunter has really slow, precise gameplay whereas Freedom Wars combat is pretty fast paced. It also doesn't focus on grinding the same battles for upgrade materials nearly as much as Monster Hunter does. You still can but you don't really need to. The idea behind the game world is really cool but they don't really do anything with it.

Most people think it is the best hunting game on the Vita. I thought it was fun but the story segments between missions can be a bit too long when the main draw to the game is the gameplay. There are different boss type monsters but combat kind of stays the same throughout.

I get ads here for Russian dating sites, some flash game called Animal Jam and then there are the ads asking  do I have diabetes or heart problems. They are running low on people to test on.

Tried vogue.co.uk and was not disappointed.

The game is great but the battle animations for mages look ridiculous. Alright people lets twirl from the heart!

rushed the game with a might of a thousand Reyn's.

I am glad you finished it at the right time.

About to fight the boss from the third dungeon in Persona 4 Golden. A bit under leveled but I have a persona that nulls ice so hopefully it will go alright. I don't remember him being that hard in vanilla P4

I finally got a larger hard drive for my PS3. 40 GB was not a lot of room to play around with.
