Spread the news. Place it in a box.

The brutality of the first execution was what really cemented my opinion of the game.  Though I did think the first one was probably the worst, given it probably took a lot longer to die than the others. Well, except the last one, obviously.

Anyway, it's a great game.  You have to purposely overlook a few things that cause plot holes, but most are minor enough that it doesn't matter.  It would have been better if the original plan for multiple routes was implemented, but hey, that's what DR3 and on is for.

What holes?
There were things left unexplained but I don't remember any holes.

I don't know about Cyril but the two big ones for me were

Code:
they made such a big deal about the number of lights at the morgue which makes sense... until you realise that Mondo was now an empty tub of butter and would not need to be in the morgue. The bodies were left there to be preserved and plastic doesn't degrade that quickly.

I can overlook the Deus Ex Machina of Naegi being saved from the execution at the last second but how the hell did both Kirigiri and Naegi survive that fall? No way a pile of trash would cushion a fall of that height, especially in Kirigiri's case.

Finished SMT IV. Had a lot of fun with it. Probably wait a few months before trying another path.

Oblivion probably has my favourite Thieves Guild and Fighters Guild in the series. Dark Brotherhood was great too. Probably had more fun with Oblivion's Dark Brotherhood quest line than I did with any other faction in the series.

My main issues with the game were the dungeons and enemy level scaling. Wasn't a fan of how Bandits eventually all had glass armour and certain enemies disappeared from the game entirely. I like Morrowind's method the best although I do like how Skyrim took the Oblivion route and improved it.

I replayed the game earlier this year and really liked something I didn't really appreciate on my first playthrough. The game is so damn colourful. In a world filled with brown and grey games, it really stood out. The game still looks great if you ignore character models.

I really like Suikoden IV. I have probably played it the most out of any game in the series. Don't really shout it out loud in front of other people though.

I really like both Bravest Warriors and Adventure Time ;_;

SMT IV

Wandered into the Neutral path. Surprised as I was sure I was going to get Chaos.

Wut, I don't understand what you are trying to get at.

*cough* I think she means... you know

Darilon will be very embarrased if he misunderstood.

SMT IV

I have played enough SMT games that I should have seen this coming. Misunderstood what was happening but I seem to be walking down a path I don't really like.

Code:
Angels: We will cleanse the unclean from this land once more. Join us and accept us as your new leaders.

Walter: This doesn't seem right. I want to change the way things are run.
Jonathon: No. Mikado must remain unchanged as must Tokyo.
Me: I am with Walter on this one.

Quick Trip to Ginza
Lilith: We will unleash every Demon upon the world. Any humans that survive will be strong and be able to shape their own destiny. The weak shall perish. How does that sound humans?
Walter: Sounds good to me.
Me: I've made a huge mistake.

SMT IV

The difficulty seems to have fallen a lot since the boss fight with
Code:
om nom nom Xi Wangmu in Ikebukuro

Hopefully it picks back up. I actually found it pretty challenging up to that point with the tutorial dungeon probably being the hardest.

Hate to break it to you, but it doesn't.  It's insanely easy after the beginning.  The last boss can be difficult depending on your path and experience with SMT, but the game doesn't go above normal difficulty from where you're at.

:(

That is kind of disappointing. Guess it is due to the new fusion system. Don't get me wrong, it removes a lot of the tedium present in previous games but it also allows you to create teams that can handle any situation pretty early on thanks to the inheritance system. Still, I am having a lot of fun with the game and don't expect that to stop.

Dead space is free until the 8th of May. It is on Origin and has Securom protection though. I don't really mind but just a heads up to those that dislike that sort of thing.

Finished Rune Factory 4. Really fun game. Only downside is how some characters totally revolve around their one character trait. Porcoline more than makes up for it though. Sechs Empire will always be Sex Empire to me. Don't even know how it is properly pronounced.

SMT IV.
I dunno. I am having a lot of fun with it but it feels like it is missing something that was in Lucifer's Call and Strange Journey. Maybe it is the amount of talking or that the world isn't as alien as SJ and SMT3 was. Can't really put my finger on it. Quality game though.

Etrian Odyssey 4

Third Floor of the second proper Labyrinth. My Party is Fortress, Landsknecht and Dancer in the front row with Medic and Runemaster in the back. Working well so far. Still have to try the RPGFan quest.

Etrian Odyssey Untold

Floor 10. About to tackle the second boss. Poor Fenrir. Look what Atlus did to you ;_;

I was looking through my Shadow Hearts: From The New World manual and saw a Digital Devil Saga 2 advert on the back. Had a whoa moment when I noticed they mentioned John's review of it.

Slowpoke Darilon is slow.

Ireland managed to beat France in the six nations. Yay for us. Great match. It was too close at the end but we managed to hold on. We were lucky with the forward pass at the end. Great send off for BOD. This Paddy's weekend is going to be crazy.
