Got the Geneforge collection in the weekend sale at GOG. The game is really fun so far but the gameplay doesn't seem complex enough at the moment to stay enjoyable for 40+ hours. Dunno, I could be wrong.

So, uh... narwhals actually exist.

I totally didn't think they were a fairy tale until a few hours ago.

Red Dead Redemption

Someone spoiled the ending on me. Got to the end where you are doing errands for your family. Stopped after a few of them.

I have my happy ending :(

I probably will finish it eventually but I am pretty sure it will not be anytime soon.

Sadly it looks like this whole story is fake :(

Just finished LIMBO. Game was a lot of fun. Some of the later puzzles took me a few attempts even when I knew what I had to do.

Just finished VVVVVV. The game was fun but pretty frustrating and when I say frustrating I mean swearing out loud frustrating. Died just over 600 times.

The music reminded me of the Pokemon Trading Card Game on Gameboy Colour.

Just beat Cthulhu saves the world. The game was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the humour in it. Think I will be getting Breath of Death VII soon.

1. Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention
2. Bravely Default
3. Attack of the Friday Monsters! A Tokyo Tale
4. The Walking Dead (Season 1)
6. DanganRonpa
7. Rune Factory 4
8. Cafe 0
9. Thomas Was Alone
10. To The Moon

1. Disgaea 3 Absence of Detention: Typical Disgaea goodness.

2. Bravely Default: Loved this game, second half and all. Really liked how most difficult fights could be easily handled with the right strategies.

3. AotFM: I liked it but nowhere near as much as others did.

4 The Walking Dead (Season 1): Really enjoyed this. It did feel like none of my choices mattered in the grand scheme of things but it was still great. Definitely getting Season 2 once all episodes are out.

5. SMT IV: I really liked it and it is one of my favourite 3DS games to date yet I can't help feeling that I had more fun with Strange Journey. They handled the dungeons well. I was worried since as the dungeons were seen in third person, that it might have been similar to those in Persona 3 or 4. Thankfully they were not. Love the Persona series but the dungeons were not that fun to explore in 3 or 4. Only real complaint with SMT IV were domains. The bosses were fun but exploring them was no fun at all. Being identical in design to one another didn't help either.

6. DangenRonpa:  Fun game. It did like to cram the culprit of most cases down your throat but it was a fun ride. Looking forward to number 2.

7. Rune Factory 4: ~<3 Porcoline <3~

8 Cafe 0 The Drowned Mermaid:  Finished the two happy routes first and thought it was pretty average. It really improved after that though with the last three paths getting pretty crazy.

9. Thomas Was Alone: The characters are great and really make you care about the game. Don't think I would have finished it if it just had the puzzles.

10. To The Moon: Bought a bundle for this game alone and was not disappointed. Short game but making it longer would have lessened the experience.

New Persona dating sim ?

Isn't Persona already partly a dating Sim?
42  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: FINAL FANTASY XV, This is a fantasy based on reality. on: May 01, 2014, 03:06:02 PM
I just want the story to not be as terrible as FF8 and the combat not as boring as FF12.

Is that too much to ask?

I liked the story to FF8 and the combat to FF12 so I guess yes.

I dislike the orphanage twist as much as anyone but that's not enough to ruin the brilliance of other plot threads.

Like the assassination plot or NORG....

I actually really liked Disk 1 all the way up to the end of it. It all really started going higgledy piggledy from the start of disk 2 onwards for me. I had issues with some aspects of the assassination plot like why the hell did they have Irvine and the backup sniper at the same place but nothing major about any of disk 1 bugged me.

Ending B is as it adds changes to the story but you can probably youtube C and D if you don't mind missing out on a boss battle.

Completed Cafe 0: The Drowned Mermaid.

Finished the two happy routes first and thought it was pretty average. It really improved after that though with the last three paths getting pretty crazy.
