As for what I'm playing, Disgaea PSP. I think I'm at the final battle... the boss is like LV 90 and all my peeps are under LV65... guess I should grind? I feel like I'm not playing this game how it should be played though (finding ways to level up fast, and I haven't even touched transmigration). I'm gonna mess around more with the Item World, I didn't do much of that throughout the game. Whatevs.

Slight tip that verges on exploiting the game
You can pick up bosses and they only hurt the one carrying them.
Everyone but one person attacks the boss
Last person picks up the boss
Character probably dies
Rinse and repeat until the boss is dead.

I didn't think Tierkreis was a bad rpg. I actually had a lot of fun with it. It is however a bad Suikoden, spin off or not. Collecting the 108 stars of destiny changes nothing and simply adds in one small scene that probably happened after the standard ending anyway.

Uh. What if you play a game for a long time because you really like it and complete the whole thing because of that? I usually do that because I really don't buy that many games in comparison with others.

I try to get some trophies to extend the life of games I like. More to give me a goal when I want too play some of my favourite games. Using Bioshock Infinite as an example, I would go back to the game to replay certain levels in an attempt to get the trophies for killing enemies with certain weapons. If I wasn't having fun I simply stopped. One of the reasons I did not complete 1999 Mode.

I don't think I could try to platinum a game I wasn't having fun with like you did with The Last of Us however.

Morrowind
Collected all available books and punched Vivec to death.

Going to stop playing it now. Probably start a new character in a few months like I always do.

Oblivion
I am using Oscura's Oblivion Overhaul mod and having a total blast. The overhaul fixes a lot of issues I had with the game. When I first played Oblivion, I complained about how it was too colourful but after years of playing games that are different shades of brown and grey, it is quite refreshing. OOO is really hard and I am getting my ass kicked most of the time. Currently level 3.

I am considering playing long enough to get all TMs, but grinding BP seems kind of annoying.

Yeah, grinding BP sucks. If you beat 20 fights in a row in the Battle Maison though, you unlock super fights which let you start earning 2BP at the beginning rather than 1. Still slow but a hell of a lot faster than the first type.

Jelly outside of America.

I just discovered that peanut butter and jelly sandwiches don't actually have jelly in them

I have only played the first but had a lot of fun with it. It does have its flaws but overall I had a great time with it. Afraid I have never played Alpha Protocol so I can't compare.

^Digital content and big chunks of data that needs to be installed is gonna pushed down our throats whether we like it or not, but is nice that there is still gonna be a balance between physical and digital media. We really just have to consider buying a bigger hard drive along with whatever console you go with first/stick with.

It isn't just space that is the problem though. Not everyone has great internet and although you could just say all they need to do is get a better one, that isn't always an option. For some people it is cost and for others it is due to there simply being no better alternative available. I do agree that digital downloads are going to be the primary way to get games in the future though if they are not almost there.

I STILL don't understand the bit about rowing, even after watching the above video.

Bioshock Infinite Spoilers

Code:
The Booker you play in the game wasn't the first one. The coin toss as well as other things in the game suggest this. Countless Bookers have died along the way. That is why they say Songbird always took the girl away. The Luteche twins keep trying to add little things for each Booker in an attempt to make him succeed. That is why they keep doing stuff like telling you not to pick that number in the lottery and give you a shield power. The coin toss suggests that it is really hard to change things though as each booker had chosen heads.

The rowing is just the Male Luteche twin saying that not a single Booker had rowed the boat in any multiverse so it was highly unlikely that this one would.

Could it be due to an extension or add-on in your browser? I know most of my issues with chrome are due to a new thing popping up in extensions.

What, no farm simulators?

I really like them :(

Didn't know if they counted as Kimberley reviews Harvest moon games here.
Farming Simulator 2013 was good too.

Edit Just realised you were talking to Star rather than everyone in general.

The story picks up near the end but yeah, it feels a lot like filler before that. Doesn't help that Team Flares leader was the only one in their group who felt threatening.

Looker sidequest in postgame had a decent story though, or at least compared to the main one.
