Loving the game so far but I do have a few questions. would be grateful if someone could answer them.

What level should I start partying? I was told level 15 but most things still seem easily soloable. Is it just for dungeons and guildleves?

I was told Fates were the best way of getting experience but dungeons were more fun and a better way of learning how to use your class well. Not as worried about this question as I am going through the game at my own pace.

I have heard the same thing as Tenchi has said about Free Companies but what level should you try to join one? Should I join one at any time so I can ask for advice on things or wait until I am stronger and able to contribute? Mainly wondering because I am pretty new to this and haven't grasped all the mechanics yet. Thought I should get more experience with my class before joining one. From what I have seen on various forums people don't seem that tolerant of mistakes and i am pretty sure at my skill level I would be making quite a few. The few Guildleves I have done have had pretty friendly people but I am guessing it changes at higher levels when there is more at stake?

I am guessing Linkshells are at any level since you can have 8 of them rather than one free company.

Really enjoying it so far. I am still only near the beginning with a level 15 lancer but having a total blast. I love the crafting system in this game. It seems to give me the same kind of feeling as the Atelier alchemy system where there is a lot of fun in trying to create one of every item.

Maya Theme - Innocent Sin

I absolutely love this music. It makes you think you can take on the world and come out victorious. I also like it when you can get Fuuka to play it in Persona 3 but it doesn't have the same tone to it

Yay! Glad this happened. I was worried it would end up like Blade Dancer or how Golden Sun was for years.

I got RickRolled recently and I suddenly came to the realisation that I don't hate the song. In fact, it is pretty good.

Who the hell Rick Rolls someone in 2013?

Raymond e. Feist; At The Gates of Darkness & A Crown Imperiled

He wouldn't be my favourite author but I always enjoy Feist's books. These two were decent reads overall. I preferred at the gates of darkness although I think A Crown Imperiled was probably the better written book. This is mainly due to a Crown Imperiled not having as much of the over arching rift war plot in it. Can't believe there is only one book left in the series.

Just started a few days ago. I had the normal amount of trouble getting in but once I joined one of the new worlds yesterday, that completely cleared up. Got in straight away everytime both yesterday and today. Having a complete blast with the game so far.

went through one punch man, reading the webcomic version thinking it was the manga, wondering the whole time why the art was so lulz and stick figurey. Dunno if anyone has read Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru(it's a mouthful), but really lovin that series' sense of humor, even if it's kinda wtf at times.

I really like one punch man. It is just really fun to read.

I also like Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru. I find all the characters pretty interesting with the exception of Minoru. The guy seems way to Mar Sue to me. The fights in the manga are all pretty great though with each characters fighting style feeling different.

I apologise in advance.

Honey and Clover

I didn't mind the show although it fell down near the end. It was interesting seeing the main character being part of a love triangle but not the centre of it. Morita was awesome throughout and the few episodes he was not in were probably my least favourite.

Code:
Wasn't expecting that ending at all. One of the few shows I have seen where the main characters love interest likes someone else and doesn't fall for the MC by the end.

Really liked the episode. I love Deionarra's Theme from Planescape Torment. I am a bit ashamed that out of an episode dedicated to western rpgs, my favourite song played was the Tina/Terra theme.

Lightning Returns was...ugh.  I tried to go into it with an open mind, but I disliked pretty much everything I saw.  I didn't care for the new combat system, the storytelling was garbage as expected, and the whole costume system really does come off as blatant fanservice.  The victory poses and stuff were just so unnecessary...and completely out of character, at least for what little character Lightning had.

Was the combat much different than XIII and XIII-2? They actually grew on me after a while. I thought the battle system in XIII-2 was a nice improvement from its predecessor.

Shadow Hearts 2 - The Fate

Trauma Centre: Under the Knife - TDM2

Radiant historia - To the Battlefield

Kirby 64 - The Crystal Shard

Virtues Last Reward

Great game. I guessed most things before they happened but in a way that made it better.

Code:
Didn't see them being on the moon though. That came out of nowhere for me. Knox's Ten Commandments clued me in on most of what would happen.

Can't wait for the third entry.
