SMT Devil Summoner Soul Hackers.

Only just reached the Auto Plant. Having a blast so far. My strategy seems to be Nemisa attacks and my 5 other meat shields try to keep the enemies attention.

Harvest Moon:  New Beginning

Things have gotten a lot more fun after the first month.

Just heard someone directly call their dad, father to their face. Creeped me the fuck out.

Son: What do you think of the town, father? Has it changed much since you left?

I have no problem with people calling them father when they are talking about them but it was the first time I ever heard it being used in that manner.

On a brighter note, Clare won the All-Ireland. Ridiculous amount of goals but it was a decent match. I don't support Clare but really didn't want Cork to win.

I never trade in any games so I don't really have the same issue.

I will however really want to play games I lent to friends soon after giving them. It doesn't go away until I get them back, play them for five minutes and move on.

The Worlds End

I enjoyed the movie although it wasn't as funny as I was expecting it to be.

Big Fish
Loved this movie so much. I liked how it blended the truth and lies together.

I liked it. The only issue I had with it was with those sunglasses. It just looked like they were trying way to hard to give off that cool vibe. Of course, with the flashing lights they make sense but it doesn't stop them looking ridiculous.

Am I the only one happy with Snows new look? I wasn't a fan of his look in XIII-2 at all. He actually looks like how I imagined him without the bandanna in XIII now.

Breaking Bad was great as always. Only one episode left now. This may be the first long running show I have seen that will end on a high point.

Code:
Grey Matter! Doubt anything will happen this late though.

Officially gave up on Harvest Moon: Animal Parade.  The controls are a bit wonky and load times and no fast travel are trying my patience. I only got the red bell before calling it quits.  I really thought I would like Harvest Moon since I loved Rune Factory 3.  I am still going to give the series a shot.   Most likely it will be the new 3ds one.

I really like Harvest Moon A New Beginning but it might be an expensive buy if you are not sure about it. You should know that the first month is a giant tutorial and is slow as molasses but it really picks up after that. Harvest Moon DS is pretty good and I really liked More Friends of mineral Town for GBA. They don't have the village creation aspect that A New Baginning has though.

Rune Factory Frontier is awesome if you don't have it. It is my favourite after Rune Factory 3. Oceans is not that great and is probably my least favourite of the 5 Rune Factory games released in the west.

Now there's tje Aeris costume
If they only gave us the costume we all want (Tifa)...

It is strange. Before I saw the video I would have said it would be as off as the Yuna costume but it wasn't that bad. Maybe it is because the outfit is pretty normal.

I would actually love an Agrias outfit.

Anyone want to come to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch with me?

Is it Welsh/in Wales?

I am probably looking forward to this game a lot more than most members on RPGFan but have to say that I have not changed my opinion on the Yuna costume at all after seeing it in video format rather than simply a screenshot. It just looks off and doesn't suit the character at all. I am fine with others such as the Locke's costume though.

Mage's Ballad is also really appreciated.

Ran Copperbell mines with a Tank and two archers today. Probably my hardest dungeon so far for me. The Tank never used a single flash throughout and unfortunately didn't know how to speak English either so he couldn't understand what we were saying. If I were to guess why I would say he did the first two dungeons as a DPS and switched to Tank to avoid the long DPS wait times. It is only the third dungeon so I didn't really mind as everyone is still learning their roles but it led to quite the challenge.

One of the Archers quit after him and the Tank were insta killed from the bombs explosion. Fair dues for the other archer on the team, he single handedly won the fight after that only needing me to heal him a few times. Thought we were going to have to quit with only 3 members but thankfully an arcanist arrived and all I have to say is Holy Shit! Topaz Carbuncle is an awesome Tank. Everything went great after that. We ran a bit close on the last boss but beat it first time.

It may be odd to say this but playing a healer is helping me understand how I can play other classes better when I switch back to them. The same goes when I play another role and can see what that role needs in a healer/dps/tank. I always had a high respect for tanks but this fight made me see DPS in a different light. Major Kudos to all you DPS out there. I know that your contribution to a party is often overlooked.

Another decent selection of RPGs from GOG on a 60% sale lasting until the end of the weekend

I am guessing most people who would be interested in this also get the emails about sales from GOG. Thought I would mention it though in case there were people like me who have a secondary email address for stuff like this that they do not check daily. Still devastated that I missed Torchlight being free in the summer sale.

I have heard great things about Legend of Grimrock so I might pick it up. I loved Divine Divinity even though it was equal parts cheese and bugs. Think Diablo with humour. Definitely tempted to pick up the other two.
