Added you too Ashton

My FC is 2836 - 1129 - 5566
Anyone can feel free to add me. I think I am only friends with Dincrest, Flamingrift and Lucca here. I apparently have an Electabuzz, Luxio and Emolga in my Friend Safari.

I miss having rivals that were douchebags. Blue and Silver made me actually want to beat them whereas Selena/Calem didn't have that effect. I will say that Wally from Gen 3 was a nice change of pace from the previous 2 but like the Fire/Fighting starter, I think it has outstayed its welcome.

I agree that the post game felt really lacking. Especially compared to the past few games.

Totally addicted to wonder trade. Although you get trash most of the time, you do still get the odd treasure. I also love getting Scatterbugs as it means a chance at getting a new pattern. I am up to 8 different colour Vivillons now.

Has anybody fought a team in multiplayer that didn't have Blaziken, Lucario and Charizard?

I have come to the horrible realisation that Butterfree stands no chance with online battles :( Choice Scarf + Sleep powder was the best I could do.Still love ya bro

re-read The Road. What an amazing book. It flows beautifully from beginning to end.

If you saw the movie and enjoyed it, read this book. The story is the same but it still manages to feel like a different beast.

Elmo's Juggalo College - Either a dating sim or a game like Bully

Mysterious Ping Pong Babies

Psycho Afro - The Coming Storm

Everybody hates the Porn Choreographer

Super Sexy Wheelchair Paintbrawl - A game that would be ahead of its time.

I kind of really like the colour of the site.

Really? Last Idea Factory game I played was Mugen Souls. Game was freaking horrible. Game before Hyperdimensional Neptunia Mk2 which was meh. One before that was Agarest War 2 which was actually good. My graph of the quality of their games looks like they are going down (although I admit I don't remember if that is actually playing them in release order). I suppose Victory looks alright, but I do not have high hopes for the company at this point.

I am not calling them a good developer. It just seems to me that they are moving away from being a bad developer into being a niche one. Most of the problems I have with them have less to do with their story and gameplay, and more to do with how they over complicate things like menus as well as the horribly horrible load times their old games had. Their games still have some of these issues but from what I have seen, nowhere near the extent of their old games.

They are pretty...um...Digimon-esque.

I got the same impression. Which is strange as I think most of this gen give off a Dragon Quest vibe.

This sounds very meh to me. I mean I love the Record of Agarest War series (for concept more than anything else, although I will call 2 a good game), but most of the rest of the stuff Idea Factory comes out with ranges from meh to crap imo. I mostly get their stuff to support NISA (who I love). If they drop NISA I really am not sure I will be bothering to get their stuff anymore beyond any currently unannounced Record of Agarest War stuff.

I actually think Idea Factory have really improved recently. They always had interesting ideas but unlike similar developers like STING, executed them horribly.

If you don't mind subtitles, you should watch the Spanish horror REC.

I also love other Spanish movies such as The Orphanage and Pan's Labyrinth.

Not a horror but The Road is probably the most terrifying movie I watched. For very different reasons to horror movies though.

Breaking Bad

Code:
I loved the scene  where Jessie was making the box. I actually thought the Nazis had begun to trust Jessie and were allowing him some privileges but noooope. Daydream.

Speaking of the Neo Nazis, I love how they were not carrying around pictures of Hitler or Nazi flags. Hell, the whole white supremacy thing was downplayed. I could see other shows tossing that stuff in which I think would have ruined Jack and his crew.

Oh God. Todd and his Lydia ringtone. Cringe worthy but such a Todd thing to do.

Breaking Bad

A great end to a great series.

The suspense in the first 10 minutes was unreal.

Code:
Poor Huell is probably still waiting in that room :(

Just beat Halatali with a healer today. Got complimented after the Firemane battle which was awesome. It seemed like every wisp entered the fire and exploded causing large damage over a long period. Had to spam Medica to keep everyone alive and ran out of MP just as the fight ended. My favourite fight yet. The Ichorous Ire was probably my favourite boss strategically but Firemane pushed me to my limits. I had never actually used Medica before the fight, disliking how it drew the enemies like a moths to the fire.
