Thanks everyone for the advice (besides shaking the baby) and the congratulations . I definitely plan on playing games with her, if she wants too. Hopefully she likes video games cause rpgs will be a great game genre to play together since then tend to have good stories

I just became a new parent about a week ago and I was wondering if any other gaming parents had any tips about being a gamer and a parent.

I love the latest podcast. the "alpha" version sounded really great, sorry you lost it.
I had the opposite problem that Kim had with Persona 3/4. I played Persona 4 1st, then played Persona 3 Portable and found the characters not as interesting.

This is great news since I really want to play the DS remake, but won't be getting a 3DS for awhile. The 1st DS was only hard if you didn't grind.

I don't see why you'd want an online guide. Most areas are pretty small and the hints about how to fix your mistakes aren't all too vague. Of course I'm only 8 hours in, so what would I know? Maybe it gets harder.
You're right the main story probably doesn't need a guide. Mainly only wanted it for the side missions, since I'll most likely be to lazy to do the work on my own.

thanks every one for the game recommendations.
@Dice, your right, Ghost Trick is amazing. Loved how there was no loose ends once the credits rolled, where as 9,9,9, just brought more questions.
@Dincrest, will have to try Lux Pain been eyeing it for awhile.
@Dincrest and FlamingR1ft, will defiantly pick up Ever17, looking at the review pics assures me I will like it.

Played it a couple hours and really fell in love with the game. Defiantly feels like a Gust game ( It looks like you fight Punis in the dungeon). Once you figure out each customer's set percent, you sell an item instantly each time. That first loan payment was a pain, had to skip dungeon crawling just to get enough money. I will proply buy it on day 1.

@ insertnamehere: Your first play through is about an hour, depending on your difficulty and skill, but if you are like me and love the game, you will play through it about 12 times or more.

@ Dizzy
Sorry didn't mean to take over your post. I saw some pics of the 2nd Deathsmiles and it looks awesome. It would be awesome if it got released in North America, but I doubt it.
