Is anyone else playing this game?  Might be 2014's underrated gem.  A puzzle/platformer showing you the horrors of war.  Above average game, but story and presentation makes it amazing.

4  The Rest / The Bazaar / Drakengard 3 CE + DLC and FFX+X2 LE For sale on: June 02, 2014, 10:37:00 AM
I got an unopened Drakengard 3 collector's edition with the DLC code for extra costumes and japanese VO.

I'm open to any offers.

Ok I loved Nier, didn't get into Drakengard, i got the CE unopened in my room?  My friend a level designer on it, hated the game(then again she hated the workplace more).

Ebay or No?

OK question,
I hated ff13's story and gameplay never finshed, ff13-2's changes didn't interest me enough to try, this one seems different.
Would I understand it if I haven't played the first two?  Are the changes worth looking into?

Having developer side experience with an online game going live.  Stuff fucking up, people trying to log in at the same time yeah i understand those issues.  But the constant shutting down of internal services like the duty servers and login servers, this is alarming.  This isn't going to be fixed at launch why do you say?  This is a problem that can't be solved by "having more servers", this is a problem with how they coded the server side, unless they can do an overnight miracle, its gonna be like this for around a week.
Before you ask why the JP severs are still up, simple, they got a population the size of California, and much less of a online game culture than NA/EU/AS.  Knowing them they scaled the game for them :P

How did that game get a T rating?
9  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Index (Atlus' parent company) declared bankruptcy on: August 04, 2013, 04:18:22 PM
Namco - They're still recovering from some serious losses.

Losses from what?

Five years ago they went buck wild spending on new projects and buying out companies they yielded no profit, including their incredibly lavish western studio I was a part of.  They pretty much shut down all external game development house they own aside from D3, had sizable layoffs in japan, and cut their overseas operations by 90%.  Glad I jumped off that sinking ship.

As for Sega's money... I heard a rumor....
10  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Index (Atlus' parent company) declared bankruptcy on: August 04, 2013, 06:59:24 AM
My View:
Gungho - Very likely, they got the money, the question is how much are they willing to go, and did the mobile SMT games do well?
Capcom - They got the money, the question is would they keep the Japan and US team
Sega - They'd likely keep the japan team, but would they keep the west(I kinda hope they'd dissolve SoA and let atlus USA publish their japanese and western games)
Marvelous - Another likely contender
Gree - They would be hands off on them, and since they're stumbling outside of japan, could be their door in.
Nintendo - A very conservative company, in an odd state ATM, but they're on really good terms with them....
Sony - I just don't see it happening
Namco - They're still recovering from some serious losses.
EA - not gonna happen don't worry.
Activision - See EA
Microsoft - See Activision
NIS - they're kinda in a rut ATM
Tecmo - might be too expensive for them.
Some other mobile game developer - Could be the case
Some non game company wanting that persona money - another likely case

15  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Dishonored. on: January 22, 2013, 03:32:06 AM
I just started this and after 30 minutes of playing this...I got a big smile on my face.... first thing that came to my mind Its Thief!!!!(hell the entire game is one giant Thief tribute), possibly the best game ever(well I lie, Thief 2 is the best game ever).  Well not entirely true, while yes it true Bioshock feels like System Shock lite, Deus Ex 3 feels like Deus Ex 1 lite, Dishonored feels like Thief lite.  Not saying Bioshock and Deus Ex 3 where bad, they just feel a tiny bit watered down(not dumbed down mind you).  It lacks hiding in shadows, controlling light, and Garret's snarky remarks.  Besides that I'm a happy camper.
