Media / Miscellaneous Games / Is Blade Runner(PC) worth it?

So, being in the mood for a good cyberpunk point n' click game, I figured Hideo Kojima's Snatcher, which borrows a lot from the movie Blade Runner would be a good choice, but then I realized it's an extremely rare game and I'd have to buy a Sega CD, so no thanks. However, it turns out there's an actual Blade Runner game. It got mixed reviews, so I'm just not sure. What do you think? Is it any good?

Actually that highlights a problem I have with the idea of remakes sometimes: why does a game even need a remake? Some are deeply flawed and could use polishing or even complete reworking to excavate what's great about it, but some are really, really good as it is. At most you just polish up a few of the quirks and upgrade the graphics, and the latter may not even be a good idea in the first place since games like Suikoden II are fantastic examples of 2D graphics.
Here's a reason for a remake: "So let me here your bad news. -Viktor "...if I would please lend him your services. -Makai "You're coming with us one way or another, Nanami... -Nanami And my favorite: "...I can spend time with my husband Yoshino." -Yoshino

Since my first console was an N64, followed by a Gameboy Color and a Gamecube, I didn't play many RPGs growing up besides Pokemon, but ToS is one of the games that really got me hooked on the genre. Since then I've played every one that's been released in the US. Loved Abyss and Vesperia. The Symphonia sequel is by far my least favorite; It wasn't godawful, but it just felt so half-assed in every way. Also Emil is one the worst protagonists EVER. I'd rather play as Raine, Collette, and Sheena riding around in an airship in skimpy outfits.

I agree with Leyviur. Unless you understand Japanese, it's essentially gibberish. Personally, I find hearing it in my own language -improves- the emotional experience, because understanding the words and exact tone of the dialogue being spoken makes it easier to understand and relate to the characters.

So the all important question is "Will this game have Japanese dialogue?". Everything else is less important.
Really? IMO, The English voices in the series post-Eternia have been pretty good for the most part. Troy Baker was perfect as Yuri. Besides, as long as it's not at Arc Rise Fantasia levels of awful it can't take away that much from the experience, can it?

Neat ninja edit.
Still don't see the problem with it, but yes. A bad copy. Now I need to get it to work or find a new one. Do you have a PSP or PS3? It's only 6 bucks on the Playstation network.
