Don't think you got bad based on your description of the final fight. Easiest way to tell would be to check your trophy collection as each of the endings has a different trophy.

Yeah it was the normal one. I did the true one since.

As far as manly meaty tears go, there's Kittan death scene from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

To Yoda, unfortunately there's no chest for or storage place for items.  It's one of those massive oversights that seems odd and will probably come with a patch.  I can't believe they missed something like that.

Well, DA:O chest was part of a DLC...
I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like that again.

Meet Joe Black
When the guy at the end accepts his death with no leftover regret or desires, I shed a tear because that's so great.
I wish I could die feeling like that.

Code Geass R2
The final super epic end.
(every time too... I'm rewatching it right now and god damn)

Which ending was it?  There's I think 5 endings.  Two are jokes, one is super bad, one is "true" and the last is more of the fan favourite.

Ahhhhhhh, that explains it. Guess I'll look which one I got. I'm guessing either normal or bad.

I'm fighting what I think is the last boss of Xillia 2 and his power punch does 11,000 and his mystic art does 110,000.

Something tells me I should not be winning this fight on hard.

EDIT: yay, I won.

EDIT2: O...k... I'm assuming I can do more stuff after the ending because that'd be a pretty bad ending.

Cross-posting something I put somewhere else because you guys might be interested too.

Everlasting Summer
692 positive reviews / 60 negative reviews

What is this?
A free Russian VN that popped up on Steam through Greenlight this week.
With the latest patch from yesterday, the game features in-game achievements and Steam achievements.

Everlasting Summer resembles Katawa Shoujo in the sense that it was made by people who originate from the defunct Russian 2-chan.
Also similar to Katawa Shoujo, the game is free and of very good quality.
There are meme and anime/internet related jokes that are hidden well enough to not break the game's world while still being visible enough that anime/internet connoisseurs will pick up on them.

It is considered mature (which puzzles the entire Steam community on how it was accepted) but the option is OFF by default.
Adult content needs to be activated in the options menu (DON'T DO IT KIDS!)
As far as the adult content goes, it does show nude male and females although there are no visible genitalia (convenient censorship).
It does depict sexually suggestive images.

Don't judge me ;_;

Overall good (Miku path is the exception)
Central theme reminds me of Ever17

There's a strong fluctuation in the graphics. I think there were different artists involved and their level of skill varied. Some of the CGs look wonderful while some other look pretty bad. Still a pretty big game when you consider that there are 140 CG & 115 BG.

The music is very good. That's pretty surprising given that usually free games cut cost/effort on the audio.
While the songs are good (there are 66 of them !) I think the ambiance noise is also very good (though I think most of it is from freesounds.com).

Anyone who plays VN should play this one.
Quality-wise, it's better than most of the 10$ ones on Steam.

I heavily suggest this guide if you can't find the special paths (main reason why my game time is ludicrous):

Oh oh oh!
The battle against Nyx avatar in Persona 3.

I love the arcana quotes whenever he shifts.

The obvious ones I can remember easily are:

Castle Fantasia (+Renewal)
If you follow the path for freedom, you end up doing a chain of onslaught missions where the country's military is trying to kill your group before you desert and fleet by sea.
The difficulty goes way up (hardest in the whole game) and a special background song starts playing. It's the first and only voiced song in the game.
It's a really incredible experience as you fight the kingdom's oppression against terrible odds.
I've never felt as 'engaged' in a game's moment as this one

The song (if you consider ever playing the game, don't listen - keep the magic for that moment): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7xqCWy-EW8

Ar Tonelico 2
Using Replekia and then harmonic chain. POWER OVERWHELMING !!!

The ending

The ending screen
I stood there for MINUTES just looking at it.

Final Fantasy V
Gilgamesh turning traitor
I'm sad that now Gilgamesh is just a gag extra boss in recent FFs =(

Chrono Trigger
Opening the path to Magus' castle (the Masamune)

Star Ocean 3
The fight against Crossel.
I like the build-up to it, the fact that he is enormous and the awesome song

Almost forgot!!!

Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner
By far one of the best level out of any game.

this game does have a good storyline so its worth following, unlike skyrim. lol

I have played over 300 hours of Skyrim on 4 characters and I have never done more than half of the main storyline =P

I've played some Nexon games and they are terrible at microtransactions.
First of all, it's not really micro.
Second, they make their shit so random, you pay money on the unknown.
There is no way to get want you want specifically, you have to gamble eternally until one day you get lucky enough to get want you wanted.
(The term used almost everywhere is 'gachapon' system)

since I now have a mouse with several dpi settings

You need to start playing LoL and Sion

I'ts been a while since I played LoL. I'm going to assume Sion isn't supposed to turn like that when he's rushing with his ult?

Nope, you're only supposed to be able to do minor corrections because the game lowers your mouse dpi incredibly... but people with high dpi mouse can just do whatever they want.
I'm still amazed that they haven't coded a maximum turn rate. I coded one of those in college for a homework game... shouldn't be that hard for a team of paid programmers.

Also, I hate the new orb system in Xillia 2.
I have no idea what element gives what or when. Maybe I should check a guide.
I still don't have a single resurrection spell and I'd really like one.
Bosses on hard are pretty... well... hard.

Had a cold, might have been the flue but I barely even acknowledge that I was sick so I'm sticking to the "it was just the common clod" option. I am NOT a fan of winter :/

Yeah. We got a shitload of snow yesterday and I've been working remote for two days now.
I don't want to go outside...
