That's all I kinda wanna do. I'm not seeing the Summons put out more damage than my level 2 (-ga) spells so I've avoided using them. While, thank Christ, the animations (or as Aeo puts it, "real life minutes") are quite short, they just feel like diminishing returns especially since later on there become other ways to over-fuck this game. I might just keep it to the Bahamut Trinity in that case.
I played FF7 back in the days and I have to say that the Bahamut summons hold a special place in my heart.
Coming from other RPGs that were nowhere near as graphical, FF7 spiced up encounters to a whole new level.
Where special attacks were a 1 sec light effect on the enemy, FF7 brought those summon animations.
Not only that, the evolution of Bahamut just keeps changing the scope of destruction.
Bahamut is a simple summon, Bahamut Neo actively destroys a small plot of land and finally Zero pretty much nukes a city from space.
When I saw Neo for the first time, it floored me and then I got floored again with Zero.
