So I've read the novel, and (spoilers)

Nope.  You're dead wrong.

Back to the drawing board...
God got drunk and accidentally made 7 and went: ahhhhhhhhh fuggit... humans are pretty dumdum... I'm sure they won't even realize.

Joukamachi no Dandelion episode 9 resumed in one image:

So many shows I truly enjoy this season.

Yeah, cauliflower sucks. I suggest melting cheese on them should you have to eat it.

Coming this November, Skyrim's achievements may be put to the test when Fallout 4 hits shelves early this fall. Bethesda's VP of PR and marketing, Peter Hines, has stated that even he cannot describe how massive the new world within span class="game">Fallout 4 will be, or how well the game will do. He does believe in its potential to top the well-known giant though.

Ya know, never eaten an avocado yet. Pre-losing weight I was too busy eating chocolate, post losing weight I care too much about the calories :P

Never eaten avocado?
And you called me weird???

Since someone said Disgaea:

Soul Nomad & the World Eaters > Disgaea (any)

Soul Nomad is like distilled Disgaea in a much less grindy format where the main cast is actually interesting instead of just stupid funny.
I'd encourage anyone who likes Disgaea to play Soul Nomad AND to complete it to open up the Demon Path.
The Demon Path is stuff of legends.

(Also, ENGLISH voices. The English VA are killing it in this game)

I can't wait until they display the stuck in traffic module.

Rokka no Yuusha / Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers

It's so obvious that it's Goldof who is working with the demons so that he and Nashetania get immunity while all the other Braves die.

(This post will not be edited. Let's have fun and come back to it later)

by the time I was about 3/4 to the end, every boss battle would devolve into characters lasting ten seconds before they were dead only to be revived by the auto-item system, only to be dead ten seconds later and repeat a dozen times since Life Bottles were given out like candy.

I played Xillia 2 on hard the whole way and the last boss in his final form was just ridiculous.
His normal attacks hit for 20,000 to 50,000 and his MA did about HALF A BILLION damage.
None of my characters had even hit the 9999 HP cap.

I rolled around with Ludger, Elise, Muzét and Leia on that fight just to have a gazillion revive spells.
I could complain more... but the difficulty was actually on par with its name and I did do it on the first try so I guess it was balanced correctly.

Many people fail at their job.
It's the way of things.

Gunner: Yuna here. Not really because it looks good but because it's her iconic dress and thus you get used to seeing her like this.
Thief: Rikku here because the other 2's skirts are god awful + Rikku iconic look.
Warrior: Even though this is Paine's iconic look, Rikku looks way better.
Songstress: Rikku again. Yuna is too frilly/fluffy and Paine is just awful.
Black Mage: Rikku because zettai ryouki.
White Mage: I like Paine the best here because she makes White Mage look fun instead of holy/pure/boring.
Gun Mage: Rikku here as I don't like Paine's pants and Yuna is too purple and her sleeves are stupid.
Lady Luck: Rikku because fishnet stockings + garter-belt.
Trainer: It's a close battle but I'll give it to Yuna.
Alchemist: I'm not a fan of the shoulder pads but Yuna still looks best here. Nice gun too.
Berseker: Sometimes, the only way to win is not to play...
Samurai: Yuna's skirt is awful, Paine's pants too so the win goes to Rikku.
Dark Knight: Paine looks the best overall even if she has way too many 'wings' for my taste.
Mascot: Burn this fucking filth with the fire of ten thousand suns.
Festivalist: Classic kimono Yuna is best.
Psychic: Yuna's costume is pretty cool and her visor is badass.
Special: Rikku's machina maw as the other two just don't do anything for me.

Well, looks like Rikku wins by a landslide for me.
12  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Tales of PlayStation(s) revealed on: August 28, 2015, 03:48:01 PM
Call me crazy but I fully expect the "Tales of" catalog to slowly make its way to PC when Namco sees the Zesty numbers.
13  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Which "Tales of" games have you played more than once? on: August 28, 2015, 11:20:27 AM
Up to now:

6 Tales of Phantasia
3 Tales of Destiny (DC)
5 Tales of Eternia
5 Tales of Symphonia (Chronicles)
4 Tales of the Abyss
2 Tales of Vesperia
2 Tales of Graces (F)
5 Tales of Xillia

It seems that the dual protagonist system of Xillia really worked.
I'm not sure if Symphonia is high because of the multiple endings or just because it was the only RPG in a drought.

Phantasia be all like:

With the older games having one or sometimes even 2 remakes/ports, the introduction of the grade shop mid-series or even the dual protagonist system of Xillia, which "Tales of" games have managed to grasp your enjoyment to such a high degree that you wanted to play them more than once?

The list:
  • Tales of Phantasia
  • Tales of Destiny (DC)
  • Tales of Eternia
  • Tales of Destiny 2
  • Tales of Symphonia (Chronicles)
  • Tales of Rebirth
  • Tales of Legendia
  • Tales of the Abyss
  • Tales of Innocence
  • Tales of Vesperia
  • Tales of Hearts (R)
  • Tales of Graces (F)
  • Tales of Xillia
  • Tales of Xillia 2

My list of games played more than once:
  • Tales of Phantasia
  • Tales of Eternia
  • Tales of Xillia

Addendum: I want to replay Vesperia so damn bad, but I'm waiting for the better version. Same for Destiny.

I'd probably replay Graces F if the story wasn't so boring and the dungeons less of a pain in the ass.
