Is it some kind of joke that we're just not getting?

I just know it annoys the shit out of me.

Yeah, Chronopolis is definitively where the game blew me away.
What was your impression of that part?

There's less than ten people working on support at Valve.
Sounds like bullshit or bad source.

It can only the be the former since it came from Gaben's own mouth- or fingers, in this case I guess.

A 1-million-dollar backlog of support emails would mean...

80$ an hour of salary + advantage boosted to 120$ because of overtime (4 hours a day at 1.5x)
60-hour week = 7,200$ a week
If I remember right, they have 6 people working support = 43,200$ a week for the team

1,000,000 / 43,200 = 23 weeks

Meaning that some people would have to wait half a year for an answer.
That does not count any currently incoming emails or normal support emails not related to the current crisis.

As far as money goes though, Gaben claims in a weekend it's technically cost him millions already having his staff deal with the emails and whatnot (not to mention bothering to interact with the community at all as a CEO), which I don't think is too far-fetched.

Well it happened and I don't think it's going to un-happen after making over 10,000$ on its first day.
Now all that's left is to wait and see.

(or spam GabeN's mailbox / the reddit Steam paid mod post with your disapproval)

Of course, that's assuming them pulling the P.T. concept demo really does mean that the game was canned, and not simply that development is far enough underway that the demo no longer is representitive of the actual product.

So hey. Remember that P.T. trailer that was basically looked like Silent Hill getting the revitalization it so desperately needed?

http://gematsu.com/2015/04/p-t-distribution-cease-april-29

Yeah, this ain't happenin'. Not no way, not no how.

Man, its gotta suck being a Silent Hill (or a Konami) fan at this point. Even Sonic fans don't have it this bad.

Gotta go bankrupt fast

I had no idea what this was, but upon googling it I saw Compile Heart.
Not a good sign...

Erm... dev has announced a PC version incoming (May 14) and it will have bonus stuff in it (which will be added to PS4 later).

Also, High Arcanas can only be stolen from unique monster hunts and the quantity needed to craft the best gear is almost equal to the number of steal-able ones.
Of course, the odd of stealing an High Arcana is very low and even worst, the High Arcanas are often the RARE steal. This mean that if you steal the NORMAL steal (often an Arcana) you have to restart the battle.
The odds of a rare steal are 1-5% usually but they can be boosted by chaining enemies before the encounter. Thus, you end up having to chain 100s of enemies, try the boss, get the normal steal, reset, chain 100s of enemies, try the boss, fail again, reset, ad nauseum.

And yes, the best weapons are both 2-handed swords (Tournesol and Excalibur). After that all the other weapons are kinda far enough behind that it doesn't really matter what you put on the 3rd character... and by that I mean you don't care if you put the gun, ninja sword, katana or spear... because all the best ones of each of the other weapon types suck really bad.

Er... Karol is clearly wearing his Tales of Symphonia costume...

Oh, you're right...
I somehow remembered him wearing red.

I need to replay Vesperia.
PS4 English version soon right?

Dresses up the girls (and Yuri); completely ignores Karol.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I was actually sad that Xillia required DLC for swimsuits =(
Talk about killing a tradition.
