While I myself believe that Secret of Mana is a tad overrated, I think Seiken 3 is even more so, since everything that made Mana fun, such as the weapon and magic leveling, is gone, battles are sluggish and clunky, and I think the class system is a poor substitute, since you won't know what abilities you'll be getting before changing to a particular class branch, and finding out how to get the second class branch might require a guide.
My biggest problem with the class system is that half of them have only 1 good class and the other half has 2 but it's basically "do I need this to be a healer or can I take the good offensive class".
Then again, it's not like the game is super hard so you could probably finish it even with the worst party ever.
