The Walking Dead Season 2 is 60% OFF on Steam till the 29th.

That's 9.99$ (24.99$)
The last episode is also releasing right about now.

Part of my job is to offer support to users. We give great support for our system (and we're only 2 people doing it)
Most issues are fixed within 24 hours and we offer direct support and Skype sessions on request for bigger issues.

Today I had to call another company for their support on a software we use.
I got forwarded to some shitty call center in a 3rd world country with phone lines made of paper-maché and people who learned English on cereal boxes.

It pisses me off so much that I bust my ass to solve people's problems and yet, apparently the rest of the world doesn't do shit to help and flips the finger.
(this is paid support too, 10,000$ a year)

I should be wary about the validity of such a story given Siliconera's love of sensationalism horseshit, but this is hilariously scuzzy of Crapcom to pull such a massive dick move if true.
Additionally, another patent mentioned in the report is a controller-vibrating notification feature when enemy characters are nearby. Capcom claims that the patent infringement “has greatly contributed to the sales” of Koei Tecmo’s titles.

I've never understood how the people who write bullshit like that can live with themselves.

Zoe Quinn was dating a guy.
Guy found out Zoe Quinn was cheating on him with at least 5 confirmed other guy.
Guy made a website where he explains that she's a total slut and liar and people should be wary of entering a relationship with her.
One of the guy in question was a Kotaku reviewer (Nathan Grayson).
Somehow there was misinformation about him reviewing Depression Quest (which he did not, but he did write about Game Jam where it was mentioned as one game present although that was before their affair anyway)
People are outraged at how Zoe Quinn slept with the press for better reviews of her free game. (which is based on misinformation - see Klutz above lol)

Website by the ex-boyfriend:

Kotaku chief editor about Nathan Grayson:

So other than being a terrible person, which there are plenty of in this world, there's nothing really special about her.

^I just want to keep enjoying streams like I've been doing with not much (or any preferably) kind of BS getting in the way of the experience.

Also that list seems to have forgotten virtually everybody from Destiny and Rebirth (and all but Eternia's MC). I'm certain that with the next game, most of the top 10 will get shuffled down in favor of the MCs of the season. Also, who the hell came in 25th?

More people have played the latest titles as opposed to the older ones.
It's always the same thing with popularity polls on long running series.

I remember recent polls on FF having FFXIII characters on the top spots when there is literally a backlog of 20+ characters I'd put before them.
(Tifa changed your diapers yo, respect!)

I don't see that listed on the VNDB and they're usually pretty thorough...

This one: http://vndb.org/r8856
The English translation doesn't cover the whole title.

There isn't? The things I learn.
I always thought there was one. I mean, there's a version that has "all age" in the title (Clannad: all ages memorial edition).

What did they cut in that one?
24  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Clannad on: August 25, 2014, 12:27:48 AM
Well, I can somewhat understand the train of thought.

Is it a popular game that we can afford to not sell on Steam (Y/N)

Grisaia no Kajitsu is clearly not popular enough to sell without Steam (I don't even know the game myself)
Clannad could probably sell without Steam but I'm pretty sure most people are fine with the all age version. It's kind of like Utawarerumono where the erotic content feels tacked on and the game didn't need it anyway to be great.

Also, I don't have to bitch about Sekai Project butchering it since it was all-ages to begin with...

Why would Sekai butcher it? They're the reason that there's ONE completely uncensored version of School Days.

I used to keep an Excel file, but I stopped at PS2 because it was just too big to manage at that point =/

I saw the first 2 Eva movies in theatre.
There's one little niche theatre in the whole of Montreal that sometimes does anime nights.
I'm not sure exactly where they got the movies though as it was dubbed.
Sometimes I wonder if they just get the rip from the net or something.

They probably downloaded the movies. But, for "first 2 EVA movies" you mean the old ones or the Rebuild movies?

I ask because as a fan I always think how psychedelic was for EVA fans sitting in the theatre back in '97 to see The End of Evangelion. That movie was quite an experience back in the day.

The 2 recent ones (rebuild).
No way would I have went to the theatre for Death & Rebirth.
End of Evangelion though I probably would if it ever played over here.
