Any hope of a release with everything?

And I was ready this week ;_;

I got a code for the beta, but I already got one off of one of Tenchi's links a few weeks ago.

Does anyone want this?

Could I? Might as well try this.
I mean ROB says it's good...

I'm speechless actually.
The amount of stupid in this decision is unfathomable.

Eidos = Quebec
Quebec = Completely legal to jailbreak (made incredibly clear by our new copyright law)

Some carriers here even give you jailbroken phones by default.

Eurotrucks 2's on sale on gamersgate, guys. Get it :( It's great :(

Also debating whether I should get the Yses from steam NOW or wait and see if they're a daily deal.

Always wait for a Flash deal or Daily deal... always...

Sorry I'm late. I blame my catching up everything I missed while no Internet =P

Stuff I'm looking forward to:

Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Ilya
From a very very good manga which is at its 3rd iteration at this point (potential of 3 seasons I guess).
This is a Type-moon show about Fate Stay Night's Ilya being a magical girl.
If anything, this is really close to Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha A's because the characters are very well fleshed out and extremely likeable. It avoids a lot of the problems usually associated to the magical girl type of shows and has a pretty good sense of humour.

Senki Zesshou Symphogear G
I adored the first season because of it's realistic approach and humility. It was overly obvious that the first season had an extremely low budget but they managed to produce a very good serie still. Part of the fun was their focus on humour which I would describe as 'meta'. I say meta because a good amount of the jokes were inside jokes, seiyu jokes and cameo jokes (Bruce Lee, Street Fighter).

An example of their humility and humour would be one scene in the early episodes where 2 characters were walking down a corridor. The animation was so bad (really, it was), they received letters about it. The company apologized and said they would fix it in the DVDs. Now, where they turn this fiasco into a joke is that EVERY time two characters were walking down a corridor, they made sure to make them look as goofy as possible (well animated this time though).

This time they have a much better budget and I'm hoping that it helps them make an ever better show.

The World God Only Knows III
Season 1 was incredible.
Season 2 was incredible.
*insert hype*
This show is like a fine wine.
If anything like the prior seasons, try and look at the backgrounds. They clearly put great effort there and the usage of light/shadow & colors is incredible.

Genshiken Nidaime
While the 3rd manga isn't as good as the 1st or 2nd, it's still pretty good. Madarame saves the show by being completely awesome as always.

Gin no Saji
If they keep the humour of the manga, this show should require diapers as to not piss yourself laughing.
Same author as Full Metal Alchemist (but it's a slice of life / comedy)

Rozen Maiden
There is nothing wrong about watching this as a guy. I used to think this show would never be for me, but then a friend convinced me to watch it.
As surprised as I was, this is a very good show and I ended up watching season 1 and 2.

I can't believe some people moaned about that going away.

I can, but only if it's a moan of 'happiness'.

Yeah, Din put it best.

And anyway, there's always the forums where it is completely OK to make a post like he did to bring some awareness to a new release.
Heck, I made a School Days post to celebrate the official release back then.

And finally, boners are awesome.
1675  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Yumina the Ethereal: A new ecchi JRPG for Agarest War fans on: July 10, 2013, 08:12:34 PM
I doubt there have been any officially released ecchi RPGs to date that even bordered on the sort of quality RPGFan expects.  This will be the first.  It won't be the last.

Actually, I'd say Utawarerumono. There's even a no porn English version of it =/

Is the defensive Shiv a manuel thing?

It's a pill thing. The first level lets you use a Shiv to save yourself (and does ~50% damage to the clicker)
The second upgrade doesn't break the shiv if it's at full capacity (if you found shiv upgrade manuals)

Basically, you can literally walk around in clickers with a full capacity shiv and shiv all the fuckers as they try to bite you.
Lose no life and no shiv. It's awesome.
1677  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The NEW Game Journal on: July 10, 2013, 05:29:20 PM
For what it is, I still had fun. I did not mind the deaths at all. I saw exactly where I had messed up and tried to do better the next time.
It helps that the encounters are relatively short and you usually only lose a minute or two.
Also, some of the deaths were suicide because I wanted to try and do better (death brings you to the latest 'in-battle checkpoint' while restart encounter restarts the whole shebang)

There's only 2 areas I'd say were frustrating... which are sadly back to back.
When you are Ellie and you are in the cabin with the guy, and just after when they come from the roof. You have no items, very limited ammo (only a rifle and a bow too) and you have to hold on inside this 'cage' against more than a dozen of them...

But yeah, I quickly understood that OHKO clickers was bullshit, and thus my first survival upgrade was the defensive shiv. Saved my ass A LOT.

I'm sad I didn't have *more* kids

And people called that 'conception' game creepy =P

Can anyone vouch on the difficulty of harder settings in Last of Us?

Read above my 248 deaths on hard.
Damn clickers...
