Step 1 - Find quality image of the cover image you prefer if not the version/console you want/own
Step 2 - Print it
Step 3 - ?
Step 4 - PROFIT!

Like Parn said, half the in-game work was already done for a PS3 version... what stopped them???

Don't forget Microsoft paid for the localization. I'm pretty sure they can't re-use anything.

I perfectly understand the business decision of not bringing Vesperia.
But sometimes you want to kick business in the balls.

That and with good marketing, you can sell anything.

Easy, not everyone has a 360.

You haven't seen a psone game in a long time have you?

I see that what I tried to convey was lost to others and became a whimsical retort opportunity instead.

Look at the edges of the characters (especially the hair and the girl's glove)

Look at this god awful PS1 game gfx (the sword especially)

And now look at the seamless and fluid graphics of Vesperia

I just hope they fix whatever rendering engine they are using before the game is finished. That's some poor anti-aliasing.

Funny that there's this dividing line between "I'm not interested in Xillia, but I am in Graces" and vice versa.

WARNING! OPINION AHEAD, TURN BACK WHILE YOU CAN!

I think it's the graphics.
People who loved the smooth and clean cell-shaded look of Vesperia want Grace F.
In opposite, while sporting better graphics, Xilia looks like an old PS1 game. Those models are not smooth at all. The edges are way too rough. This new artistic style is a giant turn off if you liked the 'old way'.
I myself side with Grace F.

I already gave up on Vesperia PS3 ever being localized and imported it.  I enjoyed it but not enough to justify buying it again in English.

But I would get Graces f.

^ This. I just recently finally got vesperia on the 360 for Christmas. So besides the fact I'm just now finishing up with it, shelling out another 60 bucks or so for added content just doesn't seem worth it. I'm a hardcore tales fans, but i only buy a game once unless it's been years or so since i played it. Example: Valkyrie profile, Disgaea, etc.

Which would be my case. I bought it on release and pretty much held myself from doing a 2nd playthrough of the game in the rare occurrence we might get the PS3 version.
I'm actually glad I didn't, because if I did, I wouldn't be interested much.

Is there that much difference between Vesperia PS3/360?

You get some hardcore Flynn action, which my X chromosome has always been wanting.

- New costumes
- New scenes
- Flynn and Patty
- New skits
- New sidequests

Overall, it's more like an expansion.

I've bought way worst games than a rehashed Vesperia... way way worst.

If they bring Vesperia PS3 and Grace F, they are looking at me throwing 100$+ at them.
And that's coming from someone who owns Vesperia 360.
1721  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Ar tonelico 3 coming to the PS3 January 2010 on: January 31, 2011, 11:03:25 AM
I'm actually amazed at the immediate change of heart thrown to this title. From "hoorays" to "nays".

I'll get it... if reviews really throw the title a bone (and a discount gets tossed into the mix too).  I may be wrong, but I think other titles I want are coming out around the same time too...

I can't condone playing a game that sexualizes little girls in it. I find the recent trend of pedophilia in anime/manga (and video games ?) very disturbing and troubling. When characters that look like they haven't even gone through puberty yet are depicted in sexual poses, I find it amazing that more people don't seem to have any trouble with it.

Not much of an argument, but remember that Japan has one of the lowest crime rate for pedophilia.
Personally, I think the stuff keeps half the 'would be' offenders at bay.

Rated mature.
Going to buy this game will be a walk of shame.

The spaceship and monsters are from the NES game Galaga.
Hurray for old useless knowledge.

I did finish Bakemonogatari the other night. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Then I highly recommend Katanagatari.

Survivalist difficulty is the way to go.

And Gamespot's video review had a spoiler warning at the beginning by the way. Just sayin'

Spoiler in a review is like ice cream in a lasagna. You'd have to be pretty dumb to mix the two together.
