Youtube added some nifty new features.
Checking the analytic function I saw that my most popular video this month is the 2006 Japanese trailer of Ys Origin from their old website.
Going from ~2000 views in 2 years to gaining 3889 views this month.
I mean, I know it just came out on Steam... but wouldn't people want to watch a more recent or English trailer?

I did not realize DPK was banned.  She must have badmouthed someone in PM.

That explains the lack of boobs.

Unlawful entry, arrests, seizure of material and frozen bank accounts all done with now proven illegal warrant.

You can also kill the underwater snake thing in FFX with an healing item.
Since you have Rikku, you can even mix 2 low tier items into something insta-death.

I'd cook you dinner... if we even lived on the same continent.

I don't know really, VP2 isnt a bad game, but everything that is great about 1 Well okay almost everything like the generic characters having amazing story scenes, the amazing ost.  VP2 somehow loses its effect.  maybe it was the 2-3 paragraph backstory for whatever random screwball character joined you that turned me off.

Actually, that's the main problem with VP2. Everything that made VP awesome wasn't in the sequel.
It doesn't make VP2 a bad game per se, but you also have to consider that most people were expecting something akin to the first entry.

Speaking of Fantasy Anime... I decided to watch the first 3 eps of Queens Blade last night.... I don't understand the appeal of this one at all... typically I am sucker for fantasy anime but I found nothing appealing about this yet.... No cool characters, I don't like the art style and so far everyone is just a chick who gets naked... I am hoping the condition improves a few more eps in but seriously, I can't hold out much hope for a series that kicks off the first episode with a freakin' bunny demon that oozes acidic tit milk or whatever the hell that was.....

Stop watching it; it will never improve. Queen's Blade is girls wearing skimpy outfits getting naked... nothing else.
There is no fantasy or medieval... just tits and ass.

This is like... what I made my Youtube account for back in the days o_O !!! Although I don't have the time to grind much anymore for those =/
Most of the time, grinding in JRPGs makes you a supergod.

Grandia
Just level everyone to max and max out spells/weapons. You can do most of that while hunting for strength seeds. Overall it took about 2 months of playing here and there to do it (I ended up with a ~260h save, including the main game)

Final Fantasy 6
Level a character to 99. Acquire the Genji Glove way early in the game. Get the Atma Weapon off... well Atma Weapon. Finally, steal your second Atma Weapon with Locke on one of the pre-Kefka statues. There're plenty of ways to massacre Kefka in one turn but I think dual Atma Weapon is the way to go for being a total badass.

Valkyrie Profile
On the A ending, on your way to Loki, there is a screen where a group of enemy will respawn forever if you leave/come back. If you max out your crystals it's about 500,000 xp per fight so you can get to lvl 99 pretty quickly. Listing skills and weapon takes too long so just look at the Youtube if you really want to know.

(sorry about the audio, at one point Youtube killed it)

Star Ocean 2
Indelselcio Limiter OFF VS best equipment team at level 255. Best spot to level is the secret dungeon floor 6 or 7 (can't remember... the golem floor)

Ogre Battle 64
This one uses a glitch similar to the Final Fantasy 7 item duping glitch. So yeah, this one is cheated. It's still very rewarding though after a couple of high CF games where you must stay under-levelled.

Truthfully I wasn't even drunk, but that's what I told my boyfriend.

The entire boxset of Touched by an Angel.

That's the most awesome excuse.

1739  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Education Today on: June 21, 2012, 10:44:44 PM
It's easy to blame the kids but the problems lies with adults.
It would take a whole serie of books to write up everything fucked up that has lead to this though.

Short version?

I got a great idea, lets make a society where we empower youth using aggressive marketing coupled with terrible influence from medias who trivialize violence and sex trying to push kids quicker to pretended adulthood so that they become consumers sooner while parents are often too busy to actually supervise their offspring since they are either of low salary and both working a lot or too busy entertaining themselves due to self-centeredness and anyway since birth rate is going down in the G8 they wouldn't want to punish their one and only little wonders who probably feel like they need to be alphas in this 7 billion people world due to loss of individuality from planet wide communications. After all, it's not like we can count on religion anymore to force people to be nice since that's been waning.

That's just my 2-cents though... okay more like a loonie.

Being bullied every day is torture. It makes you hate school. It makes you hate people. It fucks with your mind, and makes you think there's something wrong with you.

So true...
I took me years to get back some self-confidence.
The point at which I realized I had none was when a girl confessed to me and I cowered because I couldn't comprehend why somebody could actually like me. I was so used to people hating me or being mean to me.
Of course, nothing happened with the girl... but I'm still thankful because I became so disgusted with myself that I forced myself to change.
I'm much happier with this me and I'd rather just forget my entire childhood... too few things worth remembering there.

I can't remember if FF8 was good anymore.  I downloaded it, but battles take soo long that exploiting and making it easy may be the only way I plan to beat it.

After the first two hours or so, basically any non-boss battle can be finished in the space of one turn. You don't HAVE to exploit FFVIII to make it easy.

But I spend 50 turns drawing his new shiny spell -_-
