FINALLY!!! EVERYTHING IS WORKING!!!
I started installing shit at 4:00 and it's now 7:20... 3 hours of hardcore driver-ing.

There is no swear word strong enough to qualify the last 3 days building this computer.
Sometimes I wonder why I do this to myself...
but maaaaaaaaaan, I'm not sure I'm building my next computer... this shit takes its toll after a couple of them.
It's never easy and there's always a billion problem that pop-up.

I went back and played some Graces F too since the computer was down. Even though I didn't remember much about the fighting system I was able to finish Zhonecage on hard. I guess I had crafted some pretty good gear to support my fail.

I need to go around and learn every title then make a new game+ with everything kept and be a god!

I had a chuckle that you can pay 10 points to skip the childhood arc.  Even the dev's know that it went hours longer than it needed or players would probably want.

I thought I'd hate the child arc (given my general dislike of videogame annoying brats), yet it's my favorite part of the game. I'd never pay to skip it.

So, I'm at work now putting drivers on a USB stick.

Windows doesn't detect the network adapter (aka Internet) nor the DVD drive. Which means tough luck installing any drivers to make anything work.
I have no idea how anyone is supposed to config a new computer WITHOUT another working computer. It just seems impossible.

Putting my computer to sleep to build the new one.
If I don't come back soon, either I fucked up or a part is fucked up.

Oh damn...
Noboru Yamaguchi (author of Zero no Tsukaima) died on the 4th and it was announced publicly yesterday.
The guy had been battling a cancer for some years and, after delaying it for a while, made the last season & last volumes of ZnT when he felt a bit better.
I can only imagine the dedication he had toward his serie.

My apologies; you are right. I didn't put much effort into that search. Tomb raider in Japan does come up to about 90$ US depending on the exchange rate.

If I was Japanese, I'd just play the English version at this point =/

I seriously don't see what people are so up in arms about.  They're just making it cost the same as any other game in Japan.

Tomb Raider:
$50, NA: http://store.steampowered.com/app/203160/?cc=us
$50, Japan: http://store.steampowered.com/app/203160/?cc=jp

(Blatantly stolen from GAF)

Your argument doesn't work.

3.4 million units just wasn't enough. Gotta recoup that money somewhere.
1795  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Next 10 years of Mega Man being discussed by "Top Men" at Capcom on: April 10, 2013, 04:16:32 PM
The real truth is that Capcom, like every other Japanese developer is scared of risk. These companies are glass towers that could tip over and crash with one bad costly title.

This is also why they employ outside studios since they can insure their revenues (we give you X$ and you make a game that sells Y unit. If you don't sell Y, we want Z in return for your poor performance and contractual breach)

Double post because "One Piece x Toriko x Dragon Ball Z Crossover" is as awesome and weird as it could be.
But seriously... we all agree that even Krillin could kill everyone in the two other shows, right?

And they won this year again. I guess the Simshitty fiasco happening at the same time as this contest really didn't help them.

Heck, in Canada, we're afraid they'll miss the USA and hit us instead.

Also, the dungeons in this game are hella boring.

Let me go fetch some self-quotes about that... here you go:

The level design of dungeons in this game is simply terrible.
They are: archaic, confusing, too big for their own good and completely unrealistic.

them dungeon designs (it's like a guy ate cheerios, drank milk + vinegar + coke, then barfed on the floor and drew the dungeon according to that)

I know of at least one example (Project Eternity) where many Neogaf users bundled up to pay for a top tier together.
