I'm out of monthly minutes on my cell and I needed to call a toll-free number.
Just learned that you can dial those on Skype for free.

Given the phone call will be 30+ minutes, I just saved over 10$ of over fees.

Pardon the double post, but http://gematsu.com/2014/06/shining-resonance-screenshots-artwork

Had to post for that awful Armonics pun.

I'm more fixated on them writing "Halbred".

it takes the more Biblical version of the creation story being narrated over a 'evolutionary approach' visually.

It's still funny that they go from fish to reptile to mammal to monkey and then it cuts AND GOD MADE MEN.
1804  Media / The Soundroom / Songs that sound weirdly like other songs on: June 02, 2014, 10:15:23 PM
Yggdrasil brought up Darude - Sandstorm in the Youtube thread and it made me remember one thing I always thought was puzzling.
Darude - Sandstorm sounds really similar to Lautsprecher - Omnibus

Lautsprecher - Omnibus

(if you skip the really long intro)

Another one that's even weirder to me is that the beginning of the ending theme of harem anime Ichigo 100% sounds incredibly similar to Vengaboys - We like to Party.

Soup to me is a cheap way of filling people up with water.

(maybe 'real' soup is good, who knows, I'm much too biased by now)

At this point, I consider having beaten most of Pokemon White.
Now, I just have to roam and complete my pokedex as much as I can tolerate doing.

Team 'cute':
- Togekiss
- Lopunny
- Mismagius
- Vaporeon
- Gardevoir
- Lilligant

Lopunny was by far the weakest. Normal type seems pretty awful. That said, it was my Strenght and Cut.
Togekiss was my main because Serene Grace + Air Slash is awesome.

That new guy will probably get nippy when you hit the snowfield area of the map.

(the day the series has "made it" is when they move into each action instead of "fate into it").

What do you mean by that? I don't understand.

Also, everything about Zesty screams religion.

Started feeling bad yesterday and now the fever just hit 38°C.
It's official, there goes the weekend.
1812  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The controllers thread on: May 31, 2014, 03:02:53 PM
But the number one very best controller of all time and beyond is, of course:

The buttons are on its butt :D

What about the Ju-C Air ?

There's one button and you press it with your *****

EDIT: oh wait, it has an analog stick, an action button and a left click AND right click?
Why am I still using a mouse?

So I decided to watch Bubblegum Crisis, starting from the original.
It's one of those things I just never got to watch.

I pop in the first OVA and surprise surprise, I've seen this before.
To be more specific, I've seen a more recent TV serie remake of it.

Here's the thing, what I watched was called "Knight Sabers" and I didn't know it was Bubblegum Crisis.

Score +1 to distribution renaming of series confusing the shit out of everyone.

Going back and playing NES/GEN/SNES feels like you're holding nothing.

I wouldn't say nothing for NES.
Holding an NES controller nowadays for me actually becomes painful after a while.
1815  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: The controllers thread on: May 31, 2014, 08:48:26 AM
My favorite controller up to now is the Dualshock 3.

I never understood the L2/R2 problem other people have because I'm pretty sure it only applies to shooters (which I only play on PC with a mouse anyway)

That said, I have yet to try the current gen's controller.
