(what the fuck happened, Chrono Cross!?)

Obligatory 'steal' skill + Twin Einlanzers and Mastermune, that's what.

Star, at least they acknowledge you... I've seen some people lose most of their family due to unaccepted relationships.

So I just bought Analogue: A Hate Story at -75% on Steam.
I've heard so many conflicting opinions on that visual novel I might as well try it and see... especially if it's 2.50$.

EDIT #1: That is one awesome interface o_O *drools*

EDIT #2: So this game is a sci-fi about the bad treatment of women in Korea? The shit did I just buy???

EDIT #3: Well, I got the boring ending already. Seems you can finish whenever you want a la Chrono Trigger. Just that it's a boring ending if you do it right at the start.

EDIT #4: I just debugged a nuclear reactor in DOS. I can see why some people would hate doing that, but for me it's a blast from the past to the old DOS days.

EDIT #5: Holy hell! I just got one of the real endings and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn... this thing is extreme o_O I'm glad I'm not a North Korean woman...

Hatsune Miku in Yakuza 5

Well, I don't think anyone expected that, huh?

I want to use this to ask the question of whether games have a responsibility to address depression and mental illness.

Short answer:
No. Why should they?

Long answer:
This would be a terrible idea as NO ONE in the game industry has the knowledge needed as a medical professional. There are people specialized in those kinds of care and those are the people that should address mental illnesses. There's a good reason your car mechanic isn't doing brain surgery.

Golden Sun is the serie with the most backtracking I've ever seen.
It's like there's this designer somewhere getting sexual satisfaction out of making you walk back to every town you've been to after every single dungeon.

What stealth? I sniped everyone before they ever saw me. Is that considered stealth?

I just read the last chapters of Gunslinger Girl.

All I can say is that it's an incredible manga.

Yu Aida said long ago that he wanted to make an Italian opera as a manga.
He succeeded.

One thing I find interesting is that the fans' reaction to the ending is really tame. I think it's because the author 'trained' his readership slowly for what would be the ultimate finale.
The last message of hope was really nice.

Thanksgiving? That was October 8th ;)

It's time to kick the apocalypse in the nuts and live another cycle!

I saw this on another forum and I thought it would be an interesting topic here too.

List some things you did or failed to do that made you feel genuinely bad.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a personal choice as it can be something fixed in the story or a mandatory action/quest.

Also, for added fun. you can list some horrible things you did that others probably would feel bad about but you didn't at all.

To avoid possible spoilers, I suggest using this format:

Katawa Shoujo
Hanako's path - Good end
After you finally meet her again and talk about the time you had sex (which I thought was mutual), you learn that you pretty forced yourself on her and she just let you have your way because she thought that if you had sex with her you'd start to see her as a normal person.
I felt like a total scum at that moment.

Mass Effect 2
Tali's trial
When Tali asks you to preserve her father's honor and lie. My paragon Shepard should have said the entire truth... but I really like Tali, and as such, I lied.
I felt so dirty for lying.

Chrono Trigger
Lucca's mom
The first time I played CT, I was pressing A to acknowledge the text box telling you to enter LARA, which would mean me pressing ALARA each time. As she was getting closer to the machine, I started to panic and swear at the game until *SCREEEEAM*
I loaded my prior save (which was a while ago) and redid it until I figured out what I was doing wrong.
I refused to let her be crippled because of some stupid mistake.

Mass Effect 2
I killed Wrex and I didn't feel bad at all about it. The Krogan was out of control and a danger for everyone else.

Funny enough, where I work, the men's bathroom is relatively clean.
The women's bathroom on the other hand has many a story about the horrors and smells found within. Sometimes, girls walk back all the way to the main building (we're remote) because they cannot tolerate the smell.

Reality shattering isn't it.

That is sig worthy =)

If it's like most other MMOs, you can collect as much as you want and your total amount is tracked, but you spending 'potential' is limited to the lower amount.
Overall, it means you can't really spend more than X at one time unless you unlock it.
Usually, it's an auction house cock-block.

I heard that as long as you don't save while in a puzzle (room), everything's fine and dandy.
