So I decided to watch Bubblegum Crisis, starting from the original.
It's one of those things I just never got to watch.

I pop in the first OVA and surprise surprise, I've seen this before.
To be more specific, I've seen a more recent TV serie remake of it.

Here's the thing, what I watched was called "Knight Sabers" and I didn't know it was Bubblegum Crisis.

Score +1 to distribution renaming of series confusing the shit out of everyone.

Going back and playing NES/GEN/SNES feels like you're holding nothing.

I wouldn't say nothing for NES.
Holding an NES controller nowadays for me actually becomes painful after a while.

My favorite controller up to now is the Dualshock 3.

I never understood the L2/R2 problem other people have because I'm pretty sure it only applies to shooters (which I only play on PC with a mouse anyway)

That said, I have yet to try the current gen's controller.

Unlike ME, DA doesn't bring much of anything important anyway.
DA:O to DA2 was just a bit of lore.

I think the 2 things I noticed being transferred were that my warden was a female mage and that Alistair was king.

I imagine it'll probably be something akin.
Given that DA2's plot is pretty strict, I'm not even sure what you can influence that would be big enough other than who Hawk was and which sibling survived (if any).

Thus the whole crew marches on towards the top of the mountain.

Ashton: (Time to work my magic and score me another hottie)

As Ashton hits rock bottom, they arrive at the top.

Ashton: Quick! Strike a pose!

Ashton: Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

Ashton: Ugh... our cool pose was defeated by some sick rhymes.
Kefka: ヽ(`⌒´)ノ

Klutz: Wait... what do we do now?
Ashton: It's all up to you Klutz...

<<< EPIC RAP BATTLE OF FANTASY >>>

Klutz: That general of yours I saved her.
Klutz: Your henchmen were so bad I just went and told them smell ya later.

Kefka: What do I care for this deserter.
Kefka: If anything, she's so puny she's making your team weaker.

Klutz: Pffff... you're so weak we could beat you facedown.
Klutz: Even children aren't afraid of a clown.
Klutz: Now leave before my sick burns scald.
Klutz: But don't forget to give me my free smile Ronald.

Everyone: \(^▽^)/

And so Kefka leaves with his troops; Licking his wounds.

Meanwhile, the group goes topside to check up on the Esper.

Liz: (╯≧Д≦)╯︵ /(.□ . \)
Klutz: Waaaaaaaaaaaa!

Alisha: ... Oh for goddesses' sake...
Alisha: *Pulls Klutz up*

Eusis: What be thy issue lady Liz?

Everyone: ???

Liz's magical power suddenly explode as the others hang on to whatever they can.

Liz: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

Liz: I AM THE HARBRINGER OF YOUR DESTRUCTION !

AgentD: She... She's gone... pink ?

Liz: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

Everyone remains powerless as Liz flies away.

And what is happening with the Vita TV or whatever was the name of that console.
I know it tanked in Japan, but I think it would sell much better in America.

I bet we see at least a new Mass Effect teaser

I recall reading an article recently about how the game development was progressing well and that the game was about at the halfway point.
Given that, I wouldn't be surprised if they showed a small presentation of someone playing a demo.
Kind of like they did for DA2.

Holy shit! No Game No Life is incredible this week.

The first half is funny as hell and the second half's plot is amazing.

Ok, so every time an Atelier game comes out:
- I begin thinking I should buy/play it
- When it comes out, I wait, scared, that I may not like it
- I read stuff like the above that totally discourages me
- I pass on the game
- When the next one is about to come out, I watch the MasterLL playthrough of the previous one to know the story thinking this is the one I'll play.

It's like an eternal circle that's been going one for the longest time.

Guess I'm waiting for the next atelier *sight*

EDIT: Maybe this time I'll watch the anime instead. That'd be a change.

Sounds like she genuinely believes her kid is something special and should be praised just for being him. But 116 isn't even that high...

Yeah, that was my reaction too.
If there was a table with "special rights given as per IQ", I think 'being annoying as fuck' would require a lot more than 116.

Duck Hunt

As a result, the stuff that affects literally everyone else in the world NISA doesn't get because they're too cheap to go out and spend $200 on a spare model. XP

Errrr you do know how much a dev PS3 costs, right?

and why is "sleep" missing now?
