Oh damn...
Noboru Yamaguchi (author of Zero no Tsukaima) died on the 4th and it was announced publicly yesterday.
The guy had been battling a cancer for some years and, after delaying it for a while, made the last season & last volumes of ZnT when he felt a bit better.
I can only imagine the dedication he had toward his serie.

My apologies; you are right. I didn't put much effort into that search. Tomb raider in Japan does come up to about 90$ US depending on the exchange rate.

If I was Japanese, I'd just play the English version at this point =/

I seriously don't see what people are so up in arms about.  They're just making it cost the same as any other game in Japan.

Tomb Raider:
$50, NA: http://store.steampowered.com/app/203160/?cc=us
$50, Japan: http://store.steampowered.com/app/203160/?cc=jp

(Blatantly stolen from GAF)

Your argument doesn't work.

3.4 million units just wasn't enough. Gotta recoup that money somewhere.
1865  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: Next 10 years of Mega Man being discussed by "Top Men" at Capcom on: April 10, 2013, 04:16:32 PM
The real truth is that Capcom, like every other Japanese developer is scared of risk. These companies are glass towers that could tip over and crash with one bad costly title.

This is also why they employ outside studios since they can insure their revenues (we give you X$ and you make a game that sells Y unit. If you don't sell Y, we want Z in return for your poor performance and contractual breach)

Double post because "One Piece x Toriko x Dragon Ball Z Crossover" is as awesome and weird as it could be.
But seriously... we all agree that even Krillin could kill everyone in the two other shows, right?

And they won this year again. I guess the Simshitty fiasco happening at the same time as this contest really didn't help them.

Heck, in Canada, we're afraid they'll miss the USA and hit us instead.

Also, the dungeons in this game are hella boring.

Let me go fetch some self-quotes about that... here you go:

The level design of dungeons in this game is simply terrible.
They are: archaic, confusing, too big for their own good and completely unrealistic.

them dungeon designs (it's like a guy ate cheerios, drank milk + vinegar + coke, then barfed on the floor and drew the dungeon according to that)
1870  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Torment: Tides of Numenera Kickstarter launched (Now funded) on: April 09, 2013, 09:38:22 AM
I know of at least one example (Project Eternity) where many Neogaf users bundled up to pay for a top tier together.

My Eleth Mixer was books to increase odds, books to increase quantity and stat boosting items =D

So I was reading the first chapters of Zettai Karen Children for kicks and I discovered a MAJOR PLOT HOLE *da da dum*

In chapter 4.5 it is said that Minamoto is a lvl 7 anti anti esper, although, they never really brought that plot point back.
Fast forward ~325 chapters and they made last season's Hyoubu ZKC anime.

In the anime, Andy uses his anti esper powers to stop Yugiri while Minamoto is at the scene. Minamoto's anti anti esper power should overrule.
So the author actually forgot his own plot point about Minamoto.

Ah AH!
1873  Media / Multiplayer RPGs / Re: The Elder Scrolls Online - planned for 2013 release on: April 08, 2013, 07:43:45 PM
I've been doing some reading on this and I'm actually interested now.
From what I gather, it's not as much as making a TES MMORPG but more of making Skyrim a massive multiplayer game.
That sounds pretty cool.

Normal or New Game+ ?

EDIT: Usually those things drop almost too much... maybe you wanted to make some melon gels?

Hey hello 'n welcome to my biggest review about Super Mario Galaxy, this game is big and you can play the game all the time when you bored and want to do something on your Nintendo wii the next generation Nintendo game console.

Hey, hello and welcome to my biggest review about Super Mario Galaxy. This game is big. You can play it all the times whenever you are bored and want to do something with your Nintendo Wii (the previous generation Nintendo game console).

I'm just saying it's not a smooth reading.

There is no worry if you want to buy and you say later about that game is suck, you're wrong if you think that about that game.
