The only BoF I played was the 1st and 2nd ones on the SNES. I almost picked up 3 on the playstation, but I STILL have a backlog on that thing. Which one was the fan favorite?

3.

Although I'd say play 1, 2 and 4 too. They are all great games.

I'd show myself Duke Nukem Forever and go "Only 20 more years to go trolololol!"

Here's the thing, did I ever say it was bad?

Technically? No, you didn't. But there's that implication in your posts and a cynical tone to them that hasn't really been refuted until explicitly called on it. Twice at that.

Sorry I explain myself very poorly then, I'm aware of that actually.
EA has a very strong marketing team. From the numbers I saw last week, they are very quickly equalling the sales (in $$$) of DA:O with DA2 (mostly because of xbox and DLC). I think we can all agree that DA2 is an inferior product to DA:O, yet they are getting more money out of it. This is what I mean by EA can sell anything. This, in itself, is scary because right now, the consequences of cutting corners with DA2 are that they actually made more money while spending less.

Now, am I against people getting good deals? no.
Am I against using great marketing to publish sub-par games and make tons of money? yes

I have a feeling after tonight's Blackhawks game I'll want to kill something. So I'll be playing Dead Space

My chances of playing Call of Duty or whatever FPS exponentially increase after Calgary loses.

I better stock up on games for when our season ends. I expect it to be soon.

I wish I had a wifi for the 360. I need to beat all the spec ops

The last game I played that allowed you to really build up your party was Baldur's Gate 2, using the multiplayer function (same as single player, but you can make all 6 characters instead of just the hero)

Final Fantasy Tactics / Tactics Advanced / War of the Lions also lets you 'customize' with jobs.

Maybe their method is wrong, but the cause is worth attention.

Your corrupt business practices are indicative of a corporate philosophy that would deny consumers the right to use products they have paid for, and rightfully own, in the manner of their choosing. Perhaps you should alert your customers to the fact that they are apparently only renting your products? In light of this assault on both rights and free expression, Anonymous, the notoriously handsome rulers of the internet, would like to inform you that you have only been "renting" your web domains. Having trodden upon Anonymous' rights, you must now be trodden on.

If you disagree with the disciplinary actions against your private domains, then we trust you can also understand our motivations for these actions. You own your domains. You paid for them with your own money. Now Anonymous is attacking your private property because we disagree with your actions. And that seems, dare we say it, "wrong." Sound familiar?

Double Dragon?
Dungeons and Dragons?
Double Ds?

I think people are shocked because it's almost like they've been trolled. The show's synopsis is:

Matsumae Ohana, a 16 year old girl, moves out of Tokyo and starts working at a hot spring hotel, which is located on a hill surrounded by cherry blossoms. Matsumae has yet to decide her future. The story will also feature other teenage girls who are looking for their dreams and excitements.

The genre is: slice of life

The opening is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cnp7j1X8p8Y

Does this look like anything that would include psychological, physical and sexual abuse in the first episode? (ok, I know groping girls in Japan is like saying hello, but nonetheless...)

Second, your avatar looks like a skeleton bursting through Goatse

I had a mouthful of lunch when I read this...  thank you, please.

Looks more like this guy's pre-fight peekaboo

It's low radiation water nowhere near deadly levels. Wouldn't it dilute in the ocean and pretty much be as nasty as the everyday sun exposure?
2606  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Get ME2 for PC FREE! With purchase of Dragon Age II! on: April 05, 2011, 10:33:14 PM
Was that a jab?

John makes strong counterarguments, and you either misinterpret him in a way I just don't get or you bleat out "but but MARKETING" as if that somehow negates any positive value it has. So, yeah, that was a jab.

Anyways! Looks like the deal's including the Cerberus DLC now, so it's easier to recommend now.

Here's the thing, did I ever say it was bad? Marketing is marketing. Are they going to sell more? yes. Is this nice for players? yes.
I acknowledge his points, that's why I tried explaining in a chronological manner so to make things a bit clearer.
I was even nice enough to not mention how this is also timed with the latest ME2 DLC.
2607  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Get ME2 for PC FREE! With purchase of Dragon Age II! on: April 05, 2011, 08:01:48 PM
Awh, Parn. :( We have enough room for two assholes. Maybe even three.

We can be the Human Centipede of RPG discussions.

We have room for assholes who can make strong arguments, not those who can't even make coherent ones.

Was that a jab?

How so if I may ask?
2609  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Get ME2 for PC FREE! With purchase of Dragon Age II! on: April 05, 2011, 04:30:04 PM
Easy, a lot of people don't know about the Cerberus code.

EDIT: I'll attempt to explain some more.

Dragon Age 2 pre-launch = super game
Dragon Age 2 pre-launch big site reviews = super game
PRE-ORDERS!
Dragon Age 2 demo = wait wha?
Demo feedback = Oh, we removed things for the demo, though the game rocks! Also, Free DLC people!
ORDERS!
Dragon Age 2 reviews = OK game
Dragon Age 2 user reviews = terrible game
People selling back their DA2
PROMOTIONS!

Marketing at its best.
2610  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Get ME2 for PC FREE! With purchase of Dragon Age II! on: April 05, 2011, 04:20:29 PM
You don't understand my logic because you apply my first statement to ME2 while it was referring to DA2.
