When a company gets big enough, they don't need to do anything else but buy other companies to do the work for them.

I know there's a promotion in one of the game store brand that adds balls of steel if you pre-ordered the special edition.
Wonder what it would sound like if you forget your balls of steel on the counter when leaving.
"Sir, you forgot your balls of steel on the counter."

Do you have already have a good: screen & hard disk?

Yes: 1000$ CA + taxes
No: 1400$ CA + taxes

That would be for a real gaming PC.

you could cut $200 of that and still get a great pc and $400 for a monitor is kind of crazy.

400$ for a monitor AND an HD. Also, this is for a computer that runs The Witcher 2 on high.

---

I find this year's E3 had a lot of coverage on things we already knew about. Very few actual announcements.

There is another guy for sure. Square games usually lets you have an all male / female party. Meaning at the very least 1 more male.

PS3 vs. 360:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujITmr3-e7g&hd=1

Both look good. But the PS3 version looks a bit sharper.

For more, check this: http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2011/01/30/catherine_vs_catherine/

Here it is. Bumping if anyone else needed it.

Overall the PS3 is said to be slightly superior with better light effects and less deformity in cutscenes. The font (for the Japanese version, might have been modified in localization) is a bit thicker in the PS3 version which makes it a bit easier to read.
Problem is, that's the version with Catherine on the cover...

With the impending release of Catherine, was there ever a comparison between the PS3 / 360 versions? Like graphics, FPS, controls, etc ?
I'm still wondering which one to go for. If they play are same, I guess I'll go with my favorite cover.

I realized yesterday that Naruto was 16 chapters (about 2 volumes) away from equaling Inuyasha in length. That's quite a feat.

Naruto ~ 57 volumes
1 - March 2000
542 - June 2011

Inuyasha - 56 volumes
1 - May 1997
558 - February 2009

I still feel plenty immature.

I got bullied being a nerd and all. Didn't last long because; didn't expect me to hit back. Bullies are serious wuss.
Fun thing too is teachers turned a blind eye to me beating on the guy.

So yeah, that would be my advice... and you don't even need to be buff, I've never been though or strong.

Or do kids all have guns and knives now? If so... nevermind.
3103  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: The Merged Final Fantasy XIII-2 Thread on: June 08, 2011, 03:30:36 PM
Isn't there a logical flaw in making a sequel that fixes the vast amounts of problem the original had in the sense that you should probably play the original to play the sequel?
Ok, I know most games with sequels already do this, but usually I can get further than 5 hours into those as opposed to FFXIII.
Even if FFXIII-2 ends up being a good game, I'll probably pass it up because I don't really want to play the original.

What's the difference? How many people here have a console AND an handheld? (or even more)
-EDIT: casual gamers would be a problem I guess.
3105  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: E3 2011 on: June 08, 2011, 03:02:48 PM
Actually, why separate handheld and consoles?
Kojima is trying to make both work together.
If Nintendo was smart, their Wii-U would be a console and the controller would be an handheld which can be disconnected to become a true handheld, then reconnected to become the controller. Keep the saves on the handheld/controller and BAM success.

Heck lets push it further, imagine if your consoles games could be played at lower specs on the handheld or maybe have parts of the game available on handheld.
You want to grind xp in your favorite rpg? do it when you're bored on the bus. When you want to continue the story and see all those nice FMVs, play it at home on your giant TV.

(Nintendo, Microsoft & Sony - I accept all kinds of payment, call me later)
