Akanbe must live near the ANTAGONIZER hehehehehe..... heh

I think I have to buy my PSP asap. It's backordered on the Best Buy website, clerk near my house said they haven't had it in a while, they only have the bundle on target.com, etc...

There's a BB between here and Rochester I'm going to stop at tomorrow and buy it.

What kind of memory stick does it use again?
5732  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Internet Dating, A.K.A. How to Scar Yourself Forever on: July 30, 2011, 09:18:00 AM
I met my +1 as a end result of meeting friends on another forum, but I never have dated "online"

I have no problem because from my experience, it's fucking impossible to meet people except for either working with them, going to school with them, or meeting them through a friend.

And once you finish school that closes that chapter, and if you have a job that doesn't allow dating or you work with a bunch of cows that chapter is closed.

In a related note I've been thinking about using craiglsist to find people to hang out and play games with. I moved to a new area in chicago, about 30 miles from where I used to live so all my friends are quite a ways away.

Hopefully we can get more of these, at least on the vita.

Pennsylvania is one of the finest states in this Union.

I'd question your definition of fine, and your use of the superlative when using it to describe the hell hole that is Pennsylvania.

hows about you say iwhy it's a hellhole?

I'd probably get some mustard on the sammich too.

But lets face it, that meat is flavorful enough on it's own.

I'm a big fan of deli meats, but last time I was in NY I neglected a good jewish deli. I feel great shame.

TOday: still at the cottage in NY. I bought a thing of cookies a few days ago, opened up to have some more and there were a few ants on the inside. Well I said "fuck it" and shook off the ants and nuked the cookies for 12s in the microwave to make them extra soft. I just got done eating them and noticed an ant crawling around on the napkin I used for the cookies and it feels like something is crawling in my nose.

They're going to make me try waterskiing again this year. I tried last year and failed miserably.

Big family party later at seneca lake.

Pennsylvania is one of the finest states in this Union.

As is Kentucky

Worthless states: Indiana, Illinois (except for Chicago), Oklahoma, Kansas

5738  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: I'm done buying games! on: July 29, 2011, 09:15:39 AM
I for one will continue to buy games and collect the ones I know I will want to play.

I'm anticipating a gaming apocalypse where games are no longer fun and made for the masses or the iphone crowd or are all some 3D tv crap. When that happens, I'm going to open the vault and play deadly premonition.

Jubby, hope everything turns out well.

I'm in upstate NY and it's pouring. Probably do some wine tastings. We did two microbrews and two wineries yest.

Wish best buy / target had that PSP I wanted before I left.

When I get home I'm joining a gym. Ole Yodes is getting soft.

I saw the voting thing on facebook but they showed the blonde and it pissed me off, because I think she looks nothing like what I think she should look like.
5742  Media / Brush and Quill / Re: Book Thread Continued on: July 28, 2011, 11:46:46 AM
Yeah, of course it's been asked a lot, and there are a lot of reasons, and there are days when I think to myself that it's a waste of time and I've really fucked myself over in this pursuit. There are a whole slew of reasons, but a few would just be an immense interest in foreign languages and literatures. It's actually my major of study at school right now which is why I'm kind of stressing out over the next month to build myself up to snuff for two classes I need to take (Korean Literature classes in which I read books not in translation). I picked Korean due to interest in the area (Asia as a whole, not simply East Asia), and the fact that for an Economic and Technological giant, it's such a closed world. There is so little known about Korean culture and literature and it spurred me to just go for it. But, like I said, I've kind of shot myself in the foot because rather than doing the smart thing and just studying on my own, I decided to pursue it in school (and I'm at the end of the road schoolwise where I need just one semester to graduate). The problem being it's very unsupported in schools on the East Coast, so a lot of my studying has been on my own, and the classes I need to graduate virtually don't exist. There's still a chance one class I need this fall to graduate won't come through which will leave me completely screwed.

How did they let you register for a program if they knew classes weren't going to be available?

Book 4 of WoT has been pretty good after a lame start. The stuff going on w/ Perrin and his +1 is ridiculous though.
5743  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: 3DS vs. Vita - which will be the RPG'ers choice? on: July 28, 2011, 11:03:16 AM
Well I hope it's the Vita, based on the fact the screen is bigger and it has dual analogs.

The nude mod for Sheva in RE5 is just... wow. At max settings this is still one of the best looking games in existence. Since I can't post a pic of nude Sheva here's a pic of me playing RE4 as Jill:

send me a PM
