Sad to see the PSP go (hehehehe, get it?!)

No.

OK, I have to ask this, what's it like living in NY? I know this is a weird question but I see NY on TV every day, movies, tv shows... Whenever I see those instantly recognizable places I wonder how people who actually live there feel about living in such an iconic city.
When you see tourists freaking out because they are standing in the middle of 5th avenue are you like "lol retards" or do you feel proud?
Everyone I know would love to visit NY, I mean, for me it would definitely be really cool to visit those places I've been seeing pretty much every day of my life.

NYC is a place that is great to visit. Like all the big cities of the world it's probably better if you avoid most of the touristy stuff ( for the most part ).

great touristy options:
-top of the rockefeller center
-walking brooklyn bridge
-baseball games
-central park (strawberry fields!)
-ellis island
-statue of liberty
-circle tour around manhattan. This is awesome. Highly recommended.

But besides that buy a metro pass, get a map/gps and go to neighborhoods to eat and drink.

I'm not going to NYC though, I"m going here:

My joke was "i'm sad to see the PSP GO." a bad pun.

Still wracking my brain with Korean essays and poetry. My grammar has improved tenfold and my reading isn't so bad, but my vocab can certainly use a boost. Improvement is improvement though.

Also reading a Korean book in English called Peace Under Heaven. It's one of the better translated Korean books I've read. I'm sure a lot is going over my head but it's really interesting to see the interactions between this very tumultuous family.

It's probably been asked/discussed before but:

Why are you learning Korean?

Fun / work / hopes of going to Korea to find a maiden with virtue true?

Self taught? Software? Books?

Nuri, let us see the dyed hair :)

So tomorrow I'm leaving for upstate NY and wanted a PSP to play games on the train (12 hour overnight ride). I went to a best buy and a target and they both were out of stock and I don't think they'll be getting any more. Sad to see the PSP go (hehehehe, get it?!)

I might buy one in NY, but probably not.

Instead I got my mom a laptop. She's been begging to use my old computer I left at home. But it's a 7 year old PC that's like an old jalopy. It runs fine but you have to know how to kick start it sometimes and work out some kinks.

Also: It's full of all sorts of porn.

The only pony this humble horsemaster recognizes is Crystal's Pony Tale
5773  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Random and Amazing Pictures, Please! on: July 25, 2011, 07:56:10 AM
I'm just gonna go and ask:

Wtf is up w/ this pony stuff?
5774  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: What's the haps? on: July 25, 2011, 07:50:04 AM
I have a horrible hangover. gonna play some games for a bit then it's chores all day. tomorrow is work 7a-7p then dowtown to union station then train to NY for vacation!

we're going back to rochester area then finger lakes.

I hate myself right now. My boss offered me the Xenoblade review, but I declined. The game is only playable at Nintendo's office, which is three hours by train and bus to and another three hours back. It costs too much energy. The last time I did something like that, I was a wreck for two days after. It'd be irresponsible to take the job.

On the other hand... I kept up with the news, I wrote the previews, I'm really looking forward to this game. I want to do the review and I'm mad at myself for not being able to. I don't even know why I get tired so quickly. Maybe I'm just lazy. That's what my teachers always told me. I always did the coursework, I took extra subjects and got some of the highest grades in my year, but it was never good enough. I was a worthless student for falling asleep during class. I wasn't much good at sports either. Always started coughing and wheezing after running a mile. It was my own fault for being lazy. Cycling over 100 kilometers a week and putting in 2-4 hours of archery practice wasn't enough. I should have done more...

I really hate myself...

what site do you do reviews for?

I agree the soundtrack is great, but I fucking love the atmospheric sound effects in Demon's.

I wish I had 5.1 sound for that.
