I hated Yoda at first [/Dice]
How about food? When I was a kid and a teen I hated everything. Now I'll try anything at least once and I love all cuisines. Lately the spicier and the healthier the better.
I'm also starting to enjoy just a nice fucking glass of whiskey. A nice single malt scotch or a damn good bourbon. Fuckin like hell, heh.

I thought this thread was about something else based on thread title.
Right off the top of my head for movies is Big Lebowski. First time I saw that I didn't care for it at all.
At least 50 viewings later and it's basically Gospel for me. Watching that sober, drunk, or ....... and it seems like I pick up another detail each time.
Games: Fallout 3. I got it cheap in 09 hot off the heals of a month or so of doing nothing but playing Oblivion. Right off the bat I dug the art style of the game. But as soon as I got off the vault I couldn't get into any of the quests. I was getting assfucked by mirelurks, and had shitty ammo and shitty weapons. I probably also had a shitty character. Well about a month ago I popped it back in and got hooked. Luckily I still had the autosave from when you leave the vault and can tinker the character. I made some adjustments and set out. One of the most enjoyable RPG experiences I have ever had.
I too didn't know what to think of Lateralus 1st few listens...now it's in my top 10 and I don't know what to make of 10,000 Days :)

Yeah and even used copies of FFVI for the GBA are a little pricey. I might try to track it down as the only version I played was on the PSOne and I remember the load times really ruining the experience for me.
Right now I'm still playing DQIX and I think I'm right at the end. However, I still all this extra shit to do, like max out some vocations, go crazy making alchemical stuff, and exploring some grottos.
Woah nice tip on the load times. How bad can that be though? I mean I pretty much have to get that anthology for V anyway, right? For 16 bit graphics? They're ridiculously long. Loading an SNES system should be peanuts for a properly emulated game, and especially since it was on a console up in the generation chain. Worst of all, is the original SNES "loaded" in no time at all anyways. You can definitely lose heart with that. It got pretty bad cumulatively. FF8/Chrono Cross was a pretty bad offenders for that as well when it came to battle loading (they swamp you with pretty pans of the battle field, then smooth transitions, etc.) Yikes... thanks for the tips. It looks like most of the games I'll play on PSP or DS.

Oooo. Hmm. Typically, I just seem to study relative all day. Drink break (likely unalcoholic) in betweem,or what TV show is on for the week I like. Otherwise, *while* studying, I tend to take a break and just draw a bit (you should see the amount of pictures in my drawing folder done on lined paper). I take a video game break sometimes at the end of the night, when my brain is fried and the last thing it CAN do is stay numb by playing a game haha
What do you study?

I'm not a big Helana Bonham Carter fan but she's awesome in this movie.
The scene at the beginning of the movie where the snake gets it's dinner is creepy and awesome.
And...FLEUR. My heart skips when Fleur is around.
and I HATE GINNY WEASLeY
