Just found out that Ryan Dunn passed away, he had just started hosting a new show on G4 along with Jessica Chobot called proving ground. After all the crazy stunts he pulled it's ironic that he passed away in a car crash.

The early report I saw was that the last pic he posted to twitter or something before he died was him drinking. Also cops said he was most likely speeding.

Still sucks though, someone else died and I thought he was pretty funny.

Also, I look stupid in hats. I have a big Polish head

The joy I have right now.

I'm new to demon's souls and have been so busy I haven't had much time to play. I'm saying fuck it right now and I'm playing the 1st area still right before the tower knight.

I placed down a blue stone on the big bridge. Well I had killed the red dragon in my world but the world I got summoned to he was still there.

So guess what. Thing killed me as soon as I got there. Well I put another one down and got summoned right away by a new guy and we fought the tower knight.

That was so damn fun, to work as a team like that w/ some stranger for a few minutes then go back. I'm going to fight that boss on my own and I'm curious as to how that will go w/ only one person

I fucking love this game. Top notch.

Business as usual my ass, timed exclusives and exclusive content are one thing but preventing a game from being released altogether? Fuck that. When NB accepted this deal they were basically saying fuck you to all PS3 owners outside of Japan, yet now they want us to buy graces f and xillia. Well it's my turn to say fuck you to these assholes. Respect isn't a one-way street.

I'm pretty sure this has been going on in some fashion for a very long time in the game industry.

think about all the "exclusive" style games over the years that have only appeared on certain systems (3rd party). You don't think there were some mega drive owners pissed off in the 90s because Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest were on Super Nintendo?

since that toys r us sale is a bust and I only really wanted LA Noire anyway I went to best buy to pick it up (on sale for 39.99) and got nier as well since that's cheap.

So i now have about 100000 hours of gameplay ahead of me w/ my backlog

Considering how much havoc sovereign wreaked before he went down I really hope that by the end of this game you wont be shooting down reapers like they're some normal enemies. These things are supposed to be nigh indestructable and an unstoppable force, I'm really curious to see how they handled the story. This has potential to be the biggest letdown in videogame history, I'm literally praying that they'll be able to surprise us with the ending. Of course there will have to a way to stop them but it better be something unexpected and that makes sense at the same time. If they just pull a last minute miracle solution out of their asses or simply make us shoot at them till they go down, blood will be spilled.

I bet they find giant ring-shaped structures throughout space that destroy everything. Killing off the reapers but sacrificing all life in the galaxy.

I need to give Tennant a fair shake I think.

Something was off-putting about him so I never watched any of his eps.

Yep, it's reached a point where I can't enter a bookshop in good conscience! Nowadays it's just me wondering which of my books to take on next. I have a shelf here at Uni, a shelf at my sister's flat and about two or so shelves in KL.

If I'm lucky, I'll be able to hang on to all those books for when I have nieces/nephews or children of my own. Books just aren't meant to collect dust.

Do you have a goodreads account? if so I'd like to be your buddy on that

What was shown of ME3 hasn't knocked my socks off. I'm getting it day one, and will have tons of fun, but I'm not thrilled about the story turned out.

I like the idea of the Reapers and it makes me think of Star Control II (in that universe a terrible evil wipes out all sentient life every now and then) but all of a sudden from what I've seen the reapers are fightable. I hope there's a great explanation for this, because are we to expect the galaxy's greatest threat to be taken out by mounted gun on the back of a mako?

Unless I'm mistaken, and the stuff they were blowing up in the E3 trailers was in fact not the reapers but geth or something

fri, sat, and sun worked 7a-7p. Those were long ass days. Up at 5, in bed at 11:30. Busy as hell at work.

today: woke up early to do some homework for a summer class. Decided to drop to take in the fall. The summer guy is demanding too much work for the type of class it is. I've taken condensed classes before but this is nuts.

gonna make some bacon and pancakes for breakfast.

have to call up work because they fucked up my paycheck. payed me too much. they called me said i have to fill out some shit. they want to deduct way too much to "correct." I've worked for this place about 2 months or so and this is the 3rd error w/ pay

gonna buy MK and LA NOIRE w/ that deal I posted in the d€al thread. Gonna do a store pickup I guess.

gonna relax today, Demon's Souls, Portal 2 if akanbe is online later. do some cleaning

those are my updated haps

Is there some way you guys can include the show post to non-admins for people on ignore?

It's available to me (us?) but only after you clip reply. It shows up in the summary of previous posts underneath the reply input box.

I'll be frank, most of the people I have on ignore are on ignore because of spam chatting in the general forums. They have good shit to say when it comes to actual RPG haps though.

But in the end, people get too worked up over being on ignore or not. Who cares if some random stranger doesn't want to read everything you have to say?
