Okay, that sounds pretty funny. As long as he isn't sitting next to me. :P

It was funny and bad. The +1 was furious w/ me. I seriously laughed for at least 20 min. I'd get my composure. Then lose it.

Some guy farted during a quiet part at the chicago symphony right near me.

I couldn't stop laughing for like 30min. It was perfect. A lull in the music and there was this little trumpety sounding fart.

I'm watching the made for tv movie from 1990 based on IT.

It started off...ok. But it's pretty LOLworthy

It's definitely LOLworthy. The last half-an-hour doesn't at all match up with the book

Code:
they couldn't do the whole rushing through that metaverse thing with a giant turtle so it's just an intense moment of staring at It

so it's kind of an anti-climax. I watched the tv movie when I was a kid (before I read the book) so it didn't seem all that terrible until recently. :P

I remember watching it as a kid when it came out too. My cousin thought it was awesome and then attempted to read the book. Well that's a tall order for a 11 or 12 year old and I don't think he got very far.

I really stopped paying attention when they were at the chinese restaurant and the fortune cookies looked like wind up toys.

They showed the grave for a Jewish character and it's a cross *facepalm*

Some of the actors are decent enough. The Losers as adults seem better than the kids. The kids aren't too good.

All in all this is an impossible story to put onto film, but if you like 90s tv cheese than give it a whirl.

-----------------

this was bad lol. Didn't make it to the end. (I had it on in the background as I read a book)

The best thing was the Truxton arcade cabinet in the background in Derry's pharmacy.

It is. But you'll use all your knowledge and sell them Xenosaga, impressing the bosses. This is your ticket to the top!

If you had an XBOX we could swap some RDR for RH

You'll get that job and be selling $40 old PS2 RPGs to mouth-breathers in no time.

If I don't miss my guess you seem to want to see Asian girls naked.

If so, please use: The Internet.

Thanks

5953  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Siliconera: Nanashi No Game Was Considered For North America, Focus Groups Kille on: March 28, 2011, 07:24:26 PM
Focus groups have probably caused more bad decisions in various industries than we can count.

Who knows where they got the people for the group, or how big it was, but leaving the fate of a niche DS game to a room of 10 people was a bad call on SE's part.
5954  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: Do games need to be good for them to sell well? on: March 28, 2011, 05:44:29 PM
They don't need to be "good" for me to play them.

I plan on playing Earth Defense Force and Deadly Premonition.

Thanks for reminding me I still have Deadly Premonition to play.  It's been sitting in my pile for a while, I've heard good things bout it, as long as you take it for what it is.

I totally agree with marketing, and also fanservice is alive and kicking more than ever.

As soon as I heard that when you're driving the character talks to himself about movies and pop culture I was all in.
