Am I to understand that you said Deathly Hallows doesn't have enough content to fill itself out elegantly? If so, that's crazy talk because that book is the most satisfying conclusion to a major series that I've read. Did the movie-makers capture that magic? That's up to debate but there's certainly more than enough going on to fill up two movies.

My friend John's christmas card is out again, and as always, it's completely brilliant

I miss retail. Here's why.

In the retail job I had: little responsibility, easy work, decent commission for sales, OK people to work with, decent hours, and I could set up delivery side jobs for cash. Bring a shitty desk to a lady's house and put it together for $50 cash? That's awesome for someone looking for drinking money.

Never had to work a corporate place like Gamestop so I don't know that pain but I feel it for all the suckers that try and offer me a pre-order on Madden

Damn, over 4 years on this thread. I love it.

Got home from work. Popped in Empire Strikes Back and made a mean rum & coke and turned on the xmas lights

I thought Elf was pretty good, not the definitive Christmas movie that a lot of people think it is, but still an entertaining movie. Only thing I didn't like about it was the scene that did an especially good job at highlighting how freakin' creepy "Baby It's Cold Outside" really is.

That song is awful no matter who is singing it, or what the circumstances are.

Plus, Dark haired Zooey > blonde Zooey

I actually had no idea that was even Zooey in that movie. Damn. She looks good as a blonde but yeah, dark hair is better.

http://Yoda and Starmongoose, who were now sisters for some reason, were eleemosynarily gorging upon eachother's ichorous bodytube sanguinuities.

Who in the what now?

They put season 11 of Top Chef on Hulu so I've been watching that. Pretty likeable cast and not a lot of bickering. Well, not a whole lot anyway

Went to the mall today with my fiancée so she could spoil me in celebration of my birthday that just passed this Thursday. I gots me a vest, a nice plaid longsleeve shirt, and a very tacky--but much wanted :)--longsleeve shirt that kind of reminds me of gob from Arrested Development. I'm slowly building a collection of these kinds of clothing so when I reach a certain age I can change my entire wardrobe overnight.

So far I'm going for a Mix of GOB and Victor Sullivan (mostly just Sully). ;)

Also, I organized a bit of my music collection because it was frustrating being surrounded by stacks of soundtracks. I must have order in my room O_O. It's actually a pain to deal with this ocd (everything in order), because if my room isn't clean and the moons and planets aligned, I get very distracted and can't work (thankfully it doesnt affect my music listening). Any y'all suffer with that kind of thing?

Sully shirts are drastically close to charlie sheen Two and a Half Man attire... be careful my friend

Finally watched Battle Royal (japanese movie that inspired the Hunger Games series).

I liked it but damn ... a bit of the ultraviolence

I love the character they brought back from Origins. I let him live and he was one of the best villains in any RPG ever.

Side note: Wasn't Morrigan supposed to be in this? I thought she was all over early advertising

How do you guys get the screen grabs?

In the painful slowness of ps1-era battles, how does this rank? I would've picked the war criminal and I've always wanted to plays this based on music alone.

In Dragon Age, Crestwood is a village that has a fade rift in it's water supply, spewing out demons.

In real life Crestwood is a suburb where I'm from where the drinking water has been poisoned for decades
