Drive Angry looks like total garbage. Please don't encourage Nic Cage or the studio. At least wait until home video.
The ONLY reason I am interested in Paul is because of the Simon Pegg/Nick Frost combo. Looks pretty weak otherwise.

It's supposed to be a cheesy, terrible, action movie. This does not take itself seriously in any way.

It's a million times more acceptable than Transformers, crap like Red, etc where they try and be for real.

If you don't like ridiculous action like Escape from New York/LA or anything that Arnold or Sly have done then it's not for you.

I did a quick search and didn't see a thread on this, which is surprising.

I was at a borders store that's closing and they had 40% off magazines and I saw Retro Gamer, big and beautiful, with Secret of Mana on the cover.

This is a UK published mag focusing on, well retro games. It kind of reminds me of the old GameFan, because the actual quality of the mag is so high.

All around a must have for retrodorks.

I'll post more when I read it but I wanted to give those who live near a closing borders, because this is an expensive mag, $10 retail, and getting 40% off helps.

Anyone give this a go? I played the demo and thought it was fun, not worth 60 maybe. Sale for 40? sure!

But the more I watch of gameplay and the more reviews I read makes me want to play. I'm watching a playthrough of the the 1st couple levels and I'm screaming at the computer b/c the guy playing it isn't trying all the cool environmental looking guy killing methods.

Game looks smooth and the graphics are pretty good.

One would expect Japan to come up with that.
and rated "12" but aimed at adults?
Can wii survive with porn even though it was posted on that death blog thing?

Honestly I would be shocked if Japan came up with this.  People need to stop attributing every stupid/immature game they see to Japan.  This feels like exactly the kind of crap Ubisoft comes up with.

Honestly, you would actually be shocked?

Yeah Japan has never paired perversion and video games.

I think 6 years is way too long for development.

I'm sure the game's graphics will make me game-gasm, but I gotta agree.

Well how can they be competitive in graphics unless they revised their engine several times during that long ass time?

Just saw Drive Angry... holy shit lol.

If you love intentionally cheesy action movies then this one is for you. Right down the the guitar riffs as he delivers one liners and puts his sunglasses on.

If you can not take shit too seriously then check this out.

And once again, I can't say how much I love to read the support you guys give the show on the boards.  We weren't even sure if anyone was listening to the show besides the editors and Ivalice Alliance.  Glad you guys are enjoying it!

It's the perfect thing to listen to at 3am, with bloodshot eyes, empty beer bottles and food wrappers littering the ground, while playing some rpgs

Take that as a compliment... or not :)

Not that I'd use it, but it looks like they finally sorta fixed the behind the person view. Or at least it no longer looks like you're floating above the environment.
