I had a lot of fun playing. I had most of my success with deadpool, chris, and morrigan.

Since I don't play a lot of fighting games I was surprised that I even beat my friend a few times. This game doesn't seem to be as "technical" as SSFIV I think.

God I love black books.

I love the episode where they house site for the guy and they walk in, knocking over the table with the vase on it. They just watch it fall over.

The weirdo they have come in to clean their place is outstanding.

I always had fun w/ these in the past. Played a few rounds at a friend's house on xbox. Totally a great time. At $30 it's a deal if you're the type to game w/ friends I recommend it. The writing is as good as ever.

There are 73 "episodes" that have two rounds each. They already have DLC out (10 rounds for $5).

73 episodes is a lot of content, and the achievements are hilarious.

That is cool, and made even more interesting because it's a new voice and not Chris Tolien

But I act like it.

Nah. like it'd be a normal bong but at the end there'd be a cutout picture of a dog's face. So really the joke made no sense

My favourite Final Fantasy momment will always be in FF9. When you get to name Amarant. I always called him "Homo" just to see the line "People call me...the Flaming Homo!"

I was young and I found it ever so amusing.

I don't appreciate your hate filled humor. Take some time off and we'll see you in the playoffs

I agree with the FFX minigames of hell....

By the end I was reasoning with which characters I used the most, and which were worth the effort to get the best weapons since it involved some tedious task.  The choco minigame sucked by the end, dodgining lightning was seriously retarded....

Also, did anyone actually boot up FFX and go ... "hey, maybe I'll play some blitzball?"

Hah, absolutely not, but I do think it was the first time I felt "green" and said, "What a waste of water".
I think I also hated the general non-sense-ities of the game too: breathing underwater, sticking to a water level when the play field is a 3D sphere, shooting a ball at high-speed while submerged...etc.

I can't think of a game that had so much suck in it that I still like to play a lot. I never would be one for the extra minigames or doing dumb crap for the best weapon (for that stuff I don't mind using a guide and taking the easy way out).

But in my mind FFX is the ultimate ying/yang of fun and shitty.

I'm in love with this franchise. I'm going to try to beat the game on zealot and the extraction challenges on expert (impossible seems a bit... impossible). I'm also going to replay DS1, I only played it once and it was almost 2 years ago.

It's a shame the story is spread over so many mediums and formats. You never see how the outbreak in DS2 happens, you have to play the iphone game for that.
The movies are crap, I hate the art style, the animation is weak and the dialogue is fucking atrocious but you see some events that are only briefly mentioned in the main games.

It is awesome. I played DS1 on my 19" tv (it's a damn fine picture but shitty sound) and said after a few min of playing "put this away, and wait until you get a bigger tv and maybe a sound system. then hook it up, turn off the lights, get some whiskey and play all night"
