$400 would be stupid and fucking suicide at retail. People are not going to pay that much for a console. $300 should be the max they sell it for.

People pay way more than that for smart phones, ipods and Ipads. Why wouldn't they pay $400 for a luxury like a gaming console?

Because Sony doesn't have the inexplicable grip on America's wallet that Apple does.

I can say if all things were equal I'd rather have a new PSP than a 3DS. Even if the analogs are in an awkward position I still want the control they provide in a game. Having one analog for the 3DS is a big game breaker... plus we've heard that the 3D effect is for real, but how well does it work really? I imagine if you have it too close or too far away it won't work right, same if you're not looking at the screen just right. Especially w/ a handheld it's hard to keep it at the same distance or position for long w/o having to readjust things.

Having an ultra sharp display like the NGP is much more sexy than some 3D thing that might end up giving me a headache.

Not a creepy website, but more of a creepy ad thats been showing up for me recently on this site.

Did anyone see the banner ad on the side for some animal browser game? It was an animation of a puppy panting... but it didn't look like he was panting if you get my drift.

I remember when websites used to be more interesting looking. I'm talking in the early to mid 2000s. It seemed like people took awesome care in laying things out and making them unique. Now everything is some blog format looking thing.

It's good to be tolerated in such a way!

I hope they announce a playstation shower-ready entertainment unit so I can play twisted metal with soap in my ears

the typing noises or whatever sound creepy... like some alien feeding

When I'd take bullcrap core classes, like speech or whatever, there'd always be like 5 or so dumbasses that would never show up. Then beg for ways to stay in the class.

A few pages left in WoT 2.

A good book, entertaining, but I can see where some of the criticism in this series comes from.

When I'm done I'm going to read the his dark materials series. It's a quick read....I had started it in the past but didn't finish it b/c of school.

+1 read it and she wants me to read it so we can about it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ending of WoT #2. The Seanchan are totaly weirdos and I love them. I also thought what they do to their "aes sedai" was creepy and fucked up but made for awesome reading. I'm starting to come to terms w/ Rand being a wuss.

I'm kind of detecting a pattern in the books (hopefully I'm not right). So far in #1 and #2 both books have started and ended w/ big action sequences and then mostly adventuring type shit in the middle.

I'm about 1/2 way done w/ the golden compass and that's an incredible contrast to WoT. So much has happened in the beginning part of GC but yet the level of detail in the world and characters has not suffered.

Finished golden compass over the weekend and that book was very entertaining and thought provoking. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I used a coupon to get 50% off of Walking Dead volume 1 (hard cover) and The Road.

Is there a message limit? 'Goose has been sending me quite a few and I save them all if I ever need to blackmail him

I love the graphics in this. Very cool looking.

So many blood games. I'd love to support xseed here but this will have to wait.

I've lost interest already, then. I don't want some bullcrap with him coming back somehow.

Like that one guy from that one series

Shepard's death was just a plot device to get her in the hands of Cerberus. It's not like it happened at the end of a game and we're left to believe she was dead for real.

Neo sacrificing his life to unite toasters and people in the conclusion of a series is a bit different.

Survivalist difficulty is the way to go.

And Gamespot's video review had a spoiler warning at the beginning by the way. Just sayin'

Yeah I saw the warning, and for the game I assumed it'd just be the kind of spoiler where you see some of the surprise events. Like a monster jumping out at a certain point.

There's absolutely no reason for her to give a plot spoiler. Will it ruin an awesome game? Probably not, but it added nothing to the review.

This isn't a big deal, just wanted to point it out is all for people that take spoilers seriously
