Saw "LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring" last night. We were doing the LoTR drinking game (I had to settle for cola) and it was pretty fun. Aragorn was my character.
Fellowship is my favorite of the series. What's the drinking game?

Well, everyone picks a character from the Fellowship and every time your character does something (from a pre-establised list), you have to take a swig of your drink. You also have to drink whenever the ring is seen or used.

Aragorn's list was:

* Whenever he frets about his lineage
* Whenever he uses "ranger" skills.
* Whenever he looks hot (or if you're male, bad-ass).
* Whenever he saves a Hobbit from doing something stupid i.e. leading to certain death.

I ended up drinking way too much cola. It would be murder trying to watch the entire trilogy consecutively while playing this game.

That sounds fun lol.

The last time I did a game like that was the Star Trek: TNG drinking game. You take a shot every time they straighten out their uniforms

The Ugly: All the girls in this thread talking about dropping deuces

Hey!!  I said I'd need a funnel, you can't use a funnel for #2, so no, I was not talking about dropping logs!!

I guess that depends on if you went to that hole in the wall Indian place or not.

The Good: Making red velvet cake

The Bad: had to move an old table out to donate and moved a new table in. Not fun

Don't forget to use the block in that game.

I played through almost the whole thing before I knew it existed.
haha. I was thinking there should be a "block"  button, but didn't find it. Guess I'll have to check again. Thanks!

I forgot how to use it (haven't played in a while) but they mention it in the manual someplace. It helps charge up your special and the next hit you make is a crit

We watched Daybreakers last night. Interesting take on the vampire movie but the movie didn't have a good feel to it. Loved the ending though.

Peter Sellers was just terrific in that film.

Saw "LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring" last night. We were doing the LoTR drinking game (I had to settle for cola) and it was pretty fun. Aragorn was my character. I had forgotten how much I love this film; when the blu ray extended set gets released over here, I'm definitely getting it.

Finally got to the airship in ffx

I hit it lucky this week. When Hugh and I were browsing the pawn shops for cheap furnature I had a look in the CD/DVD/Game section and found Shadow Hearts 1, Wild ARMs 3, Sonic Adventure 2 and SMT: Lucifers Call, though I already had Lucifers Call so I didn't buy it. I bought all the rest though for cheap cheap cheap.

So, am now starting Wild ARMs 3, despite not being able to finish 2 because the music gave me a headache.

What kind of puzzles are in the wild arms games? Are they block pushers?

I've got so many games to play but this looks like the game I've been waiting for since a wide-eyed teen-Yoda popped FFT into his PSX so many years ago

Hole in the wall indian places are the best, or at least around here. Why go to a nice restaurant where white people go when you can go where the cabbies go and pay 1/4 of the cost and get the same thing?

The unique smell is probably cardamom. What I like about Indian is the great flavor that doesn't necessarily have to be "hot." Sure it can be, depending on the dish.

Thai food is another favorite of mine, so much variety. I can make a pretty serious basil chicken stir fry at home :)

To those that live in different parts of the USA or live in another country, do you guys have BYOB (bring your own bottle) restaurants?

I don't get the hate for Awakenings. You get some new areas to explore, a big keep to upgrade and defend, you have to put down a riot, interesting and new characters, a good sized city with it's own bevy of quests, and new items and spells. That sounds exactly what an expansion should be to me

Is the Dragon Age DLC really all that worth it anyway? I mean, besides Awakening?

I played warden's keep, awakening, the one where you get shale, and the one where you play as darkspawn.

The darkspawn one was very lame.
