I want to see Easy A, because from now on that chick is riding the downward spiral of hollywood. She's already blonde and then comes the sick weight losss.

Finished season 2 of the Wire. This season had me worried but ended up being solid.

Again, WATCH THIS FUCKING SHOW

I demand that Kevin Pollak change his last name. I find it offensive.

CGR 2010 GOTY awards
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PFwu6eRJgOY
compare that to last year

Be warned if you are eating or drinking something while watching that first one, you may choke on it from laughing.
Hopefully it'll make people wanna play Nier and Vanquish.

I love CGR but I had to shut that video off immediately. I like some of the running gags he has (truxstan) but that was just not good. I'll give it a shot when I'm drunk later and mute it until he starts talking games.

Neither do I really, but normal curse words fly out of my mouth like a rainbow out of a unicorn's asshole.

This chick didn't know me so I don't blame her for being upset. I'm not a racist bigot. I hate everyone equally.

Anyone ever drop an Nbomb?

I was at a bar w/ my cousin and his work buddies. They were having some sort of work party and we all got BLASTED drunk. There was one black chick there. I was talking to my cousin and were all wobbling around and slurring our speech. I told my cousin that he was "my GENIAL MEMBER OF ETHNIC GROUPS THAT ORIGINATE IN THE AFRICAN CONTINENT OR CLOSEBY THEREIN" and the chick was offended. I apologized and offered a drink to make up for it but she wasn't having it.

Borderlands was fun as hell but if you don't have a few good buds to play with or suck/hate FPSes then pass it up. It's not really an RPG

Mass Effect's action can be a bit tough if you don't stay on your toes, but the story, music, dialog, and all around style are worth sticking it out if you have trouble with combat.

I just watched  a random cooking clip because I couldn't think of what he looked like.

I'll just say... he looks very "british"

I just watched "Toast". A biography about a Brtish chef (Nigel Slater) and his childhood. I don't think I've watched a biography where I've hated the person it is about so much. Except maybe Hitler. Maybe.

At least Helena Boham Carter was in it, that at least made it bearable.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good programme. But if Nigel Slater is supposed to be in any way likable, I'm afraid they failed rather spectacularly.

Wow I just watched a clip and I couldn't stand him at all. Who does that asshole think he is?

That Top Secret recipes thing is something I always wanted to get into. A couple of years ago a late night show i listen to on 720am had one of the lab chefs on from top secret.

We do a lot of cooking and we try and do a variety of methods. I like to think I'm pretty good but if it's not certain things I kind of move ponderously and slow. Doing stir fry and grillin is my favorite.

My +1 actually cooks the steak better than I and is a whiz w/ soups.

To keep this relevant to the topic, I love watching cooking shows. I think at least 50% of the tv I watch is cooking related.

Argh, I wish my guy liked Soups.... they're one of my favorite things on earth, the ultimate form of combining flavour in a more low-fat method (but I love chunks of chicken or any meat in it).

Unfortunately, I've just started my cooking trials, I made an amazing spinach, cheese, and artichoke dip the other day for some friends. =)

I'm trying to get better at pasta dishes (of all things, I'm at that "I feel like something is missing" phase).  But I'm a pro at meats and I make a potato (of whatever variety, baked, mashed, roast, mister potato) unlike you've ever eaten.

I've always had a soft spot when movies show food or some sort of delicious cuisine.
For some reason, even when it's food I recognize, I always feel like the food in flicks always tastes different and amazing to how I'd imagine.

What kind of pasta are you making?

My tips on red sauce: (i'm no pro but this is what people tell me), heat up some olive oil, do your minced garlic and then saute tomato paste for a couple of minutes. this helps to cut down that acid flavor. some sugar helps.

I love tomato paste though. I could eat that shit out of the can.

Here's the recipe I'm using

http://www.amandascookin.com/2009/09/rich-chocolate-ice-cream.html

In the past 24 hours I've made two deep dish pizzas, aracini w/ some leftover risotto, and now ice cream.
