I've thought of several jokes to go w/ "smoke" "lab" but too lazy to do anything about it. So let me break it down.

Was going to do a MS Paint of a guy smoking a bong but at the end would be a lab retriever's head all smiling

OR

Check out Goose, spreading good cheer and mirth.

Make me some jumbo easter eggs and ship em over. I like it when the cream inside is runny. Sometimes you get them when the cream is thick, that's not my jam.

:D I know, i'm like a fucking saint. Saint Goose of Cheesecake.

and sorry, no easter eggs for you. It's against my religion to give Americans eggs.

Jainist, eh?

I'm going over to a friend's house later who has this. I suck at these games and he's really good at them so I'll just be enjoying some pretty graphics for a few hours.

FF13? Ugh

You just lost all street cred
What Vanille's cute.

Too bad her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. Her actor does Australian accents a disservice.

You do hear her 'gasm though..... hmmm.

Graphics need to be functional. And as said above some of the PS1 stuff is just brutal, but most of the good RPGs still look good. It's the dedicated 3D games that look bad, with all the texture warping and such

Well I blame bad business practice on Cadbury's part the past couple of decades that led up to this fiasco

One year someone gave me a display box of Eggs, there were 40 of them in there. Ate those fuckers in 2 weeks.

I've totally been meaning to watch The Guild for a few years now. I just need to find the time.

It's a show with 4-6min eps.

You gots the time :)

Do they still have free HD versions on Xbox live?

I don't know. I've never seen it on XBLA... which is weird because it's not like I don't use it.
6851  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Western RPGs versus JRPGs on: February 15, 2011, 09:34:46 PM
Western for me but I still love Jrpgs too.

Wester gets the edge because the stories are better and more coherent and are almost always accompanied by better dialog.

Also, the stories are generally more my style. I don't give a damn so much about linearity but in my opinion WRPGs offer much more variety. When I compare Dragon Age to Mass Effect or Baldurs Gate or Fallout I see much more variety than if I compare FF/DQ/Wild Arms/Persona.

A distinct edge goes to Japan for excellent SRPGs. Even though I haven't played all of them, I don't see much of that coming from the West.

This is a debate that will have no conclusion but I don't mind having it.

6853  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Co-op RPGs on: February 15, 2011, 07:41:40 PM
Hey

I'm looking for RPGs for 2 players. Complete co-op would be good, but only in fights like in the Tales games is good enough I guess. Platform doesn't matter,

If you're willing to go to the previous generation check out the Baldur's Gate games for PS2 or Xbox. They have to be cheap as fuck these days.

I had a ton of fun playing those with a friend.

actually baldurs gate 2 is like $50 still   D: maybe its rare or something? i remember buying it used for like $20! year ago!

Wow that's odd! I say it's worth it though if you're wanting a good completely co-op game.

6854  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Movie Trends that NEED to Stop on: February 15, 2011, 07:13:00 PM
One thing that really needs to stop but has no chance of doing so is "cleaning" up movies to make them pg-13 so more people can see them.

I can't recall scene by scene but I know some things were taken out of the harry potter movies to keep the rating down and less spooky.

But I just saw the commercial for "battle for los angeles" and it's a movie about machines or aliens (whatever) murdering people and mass genocide... and it's fucking pg 13.
