I will never doubt how cool I am with this on youtube...

I want to make fun of her but that's basically 90% of what JRPGs are...

We started to watch Hot Tub Time Machine...

It has to be one of the most unfunny things I've ever seen and I have a pretty wide clearance for movies

Despite that: best scene was hands down when Craig Robinson calls his wife as a child, yells the hell out of her and secures a happy ass future with her again

And Airplane! is classic, it's one of my favorites.
Leave it to my sports-fanatic boyfriend to give the movie an extra star for knowing and educating me on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  It is an awesome cameo, and an odd one.

As a female in her 20s we can give you a pass on not knowing Kareem.

We made it 40 min or so into HTTM...not one chuckle

we have Pandorum and The Social Network in the ready room.

Well, who is she?

She's Agent Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) from Chuck. I also love how one comment can set us off on half a page of perversion!!

A well rendered ass will do that

:)

I read, and loved, Hyperion, and it's sequel, The Fall of Hyperion. Highly recommended.

Excellent. I'm going finish his dark materials, then another WoT then maybe I'll do Hyperion.

The theme to Zillion on the master system. I sucked at that game (I was like 7?) but loved the fucking music.

blech.

double blech.

The dream was fun while it lasted.

The music for the D&D games was always good.

I've heard this about 1000 times the summer I discovered this game

Legend of Zelda theme should be Japan's anthem

Imagine watching the olympics and some Japanese gold winner is up there crying to the Zelda theme...

I know it'd tug on my heartstrings

To each his own, I suppose. While I like this kind of stuff, I don't listen to it on a daily basis or anything. Plus, I like the lyrics in that song. Might have something to do with my mother dying around the time I heard it.
Anyway...
I'm a big fan of chorus mixed in with orchestra and all that. I like my music BIG and epic. Hence my fondness for songs like the Uncharted and MGS ones.

Technosoft kicked ass. Behold the title screen for Thunderforce IV:

or the stage select for Thunderforce III:

Good call on Super Metroid. Totally sets the mood.

I can see how people would like it, and I do like the lyrics in that song.

I want to get a genesis so fucking bad. My cousin has the original model (USA) and the old school sega cd tucked away somewhere.

I think later on this year I'm going to buy it.

I saw The Kids Are All Right.

It's receiving all these Oscar nods, and while it's good I can't help but get the feeling it's because of the "moms" thing.
Strong performances, some scenes that I don't get how they fit, and Mark Ruffalo doesn't really have his "redemption" moment despite being one of the cooler characters.  And why the fuck is the kid named LASER???  LASER!! BzzzZZTT!

There's only one "Laser" and his but won't quit!
