not sure if this helps, but on barnes and noble you can search by scifi topic, like ... well just look on the left

Starfox 64, Snatcher, and maaaaayyyybe sonic 3. I played the shit out of Starfox. Snatcher I only played a few times back in the day, but that game left a huge mark on me and I miss it. I also loved the music when I played it. Sonic 3...I didn't play nearly as much as the 1st two, but I should've gotten that anyway

The music for Mirror's Edge rules! I need to check that out

meleeing a gaint bomb

I love this. It reminds me of the 1st time I played Max Payne w/ a buddy. We're switching off guys and I was in some building and they had gas tanks/fire extinguishers on the ground or something. I ran up to one and hit it and saw my life flash before my eyes.

Between bits of "The Bluest Eye" (which is going slowly, as books do during the academic term), I've been reading some graphic novels. Mainly the latest Fables and House of Mystery tps. Also got "The Walking Dead" Compendium, which I am saving for this weekend. Because that's how I roll. :P

I was mildly surprised at how many walking dead issues there are.

I did like Umbrella Academy. But it was so short. It seemed like they introduced everyone then it was over.

Don't think this has been posted before. Wonderfully deceptive trailer for Kubrick's "The Shining".

God I love that. I love the way the guy says "Shining" at the end.

As for the actual movie... I can't stand it. Compared to the book it's an absolute joke. And personally, the lady they cast for his wife is more frightening than anything Kubrick did here

That doesn't look fun to hold at all.

Man, this series just keeps hanging on the edge of pissing you off, doesn't it? :)

Don't worry, though - she is someone important.  Don't remember how long it'll be before you find out who she is, though.  Not saying it'll be forever, just don't remember.

I think I figured it out. Don't say if I'm right or wrong though

I think the battery dies easy on the PSP because it seems to always go into a "standby" mode. The DS always shuts off properly.

Even when I go back to the home screen on PSP and then shut it off, then come back later and turn it on the menu and everything is in the same spot.

For people that play asian versions of american games, do they do localized voice-over work like they do for asian games brought over to the US?

If so, how is the voice acting?
7034  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Matrix 4 and 5 in the Works on: January 24, 2011, 11:19:26 AM
I've lost interest already, then. I don't want some bullcrap with him coming back somehow.

As cracked out as some of the story was in 2 and 3 I actually did like the ending where he sacrificed himself.

The worst thing in the trilogy?

This little rat bastard

7035  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Matrix 4 and 5 in the Works on: January 24, 2011, 10:01:05 AM
I enjoyed the last two movies of the trilogy. for what they were.... cheesy scifi action.

If they really did a sequel I wish they'ed take the movies in a new direction. Didn't Neo die? unggggh
