Yeah, reading through Pillars of Creation right now and I can tottally see the similarity to Ayn Rands "Anthem" and its really putting me off. :(

EDIT: I meant Faith of the Fallen

Bloody sloppy!

I'm about 1/2way done w/ WoT2. It's pretty good but rand continues to be a pudwacker. He came across some bodacious babe in some alternate reality that happens to have compelling power over him. If she ends up being just some sexy hussy and not a sububus of some sort i'll be mad.

Also, book two is called "The great hunt" but I for some reason looked at book three's chapter titles. I noticed there was a chapter called THE HUNT BEGINS.

If the great ass hunt doesn't even begin in book 2 I'll be MAD

Good story though

I've never read Ender's Game... it's sort of coming of as a sci-fi Catcher in the Rye here. Something a semi-pissed off teenager would associate but most grown folk would laugh at.

I just remembered something from High School, it won't help here but it's a funny story.

Our econ and us history teacher was this really weird guy. When he was a kid he shot himself in the shoulder w/ a shotgun, so he was always stretching out his arm in a weird way. He'd take a fucking student desk, and balance the fucking thing on top of another desk and kind of lean on it while he was talking. The funny thing was we never thought it was weird. Good ole HANS.

Well my good buddy was really chummy w/ him. He'd hang around after class shooting the shit. Well the teacher ended up lending him this incredible series of pornographic sci fi books. They were absolutely hilarious. They were about this swashbuckling hero that'd cruise the galaxy and fight bad aliens and make sex slaves out of women. God i can't for the life of me remember the titles but I'm going to try and find them for you because they sound like what the doctor ordered

Oh Japan. If it isn't repackaged crap like pokemon/monster hunter/dragon quest then they don't care.

Fact.

Hai! Hai! Hai!

Yeah you're probably right, Drizzt is a Drow.

I'll look at my friend's goodreads account. The man has read hundreds of scifi/fantasy books in his day.
