They're either trying to prevent spoilers... or the game is dreadfully repetitive and they don't want people being fully aware of that.

This should have included some kind of 'making of' DVD.  If ever there was a game that needed it...

Ha... no kidding.

It'd start out reading like Genesis

GT Interactive begat Gathering of Developers begat Take 2 Interactive who begat 2K Games...

Well they didn't really "begat" each other but that'd be a cool biblical opening

I don't mind clutter (as long as it's not food or things that should be in the trash) but dust makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm not allergic to it in the usual sense but being in a dusty room makes my skin all itchy

Saw "LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring" last night. We were doing the LoTR drinking game (I had to settle for cola) and it was pretty fun. Aragorn was my character.
Fellowship is my favorite of the series. What's the drinking game?

Well, everyone picks a character from the Fellowship and every time your character does something (from a pre-establised list), you have to take a swig of your drink. You also have to drink whenever the ring is seen or used.

Aragorn's list was:

* Whenever he frets about his lineage
* Whenever he uses "ranger" skills.
* Whenever he looks hot (or if you're male, bad-ass).
* Whenever he saves a Hobbit from doing something stupid i.e. leading to certain death.

I ended up drinking way too much cola. It would be murder trying to watch the entire trilogy consecutively while playing this game.

That sounds fun lol.

The last time I did a game like that was the Star Trek: TNG drinking game. You take a shot every time they straighten out their uniforms

We watched Daybreakers last night. Interesting take on the vampire movie but the movie didn't have a good feel to it. Loved the ending though.

Peter Sellers was just terrific in that film.

I just sent an email to my cousin asking him if he'd sell me his genesis/sega cd combo, and saturn with all the games and shit.

I feel like francis from pee wee's big adventure

I've got so many games to play but this looks like the game I've been waiting for since a wide-eyed teen-Yoda popped FFT into his PSX so many years ago

Hole in the wall indian places are the best, or at least around here. Why go to a nice restaurant where white people go when you can go where the cabbies go and pay 1/4 of the cost and get the same thing?

The unique smell is probably cardamom. What I like about Indian is the great flavor that doesn't necessarily have to be "hot." Sure it can be, depending on the dish.

Thai food is another favorite of mine, so much variety. I can make a pretty serious basil chicken stir fry at home :)

To those that live in different parts of the USA or live in another country, do you guys have BYOB (bring your own bottle) restaurants?

I don't get the hate for Awakenings. You get some new areas to explore, a big keep to upgrade and defend, you have to put down a riot, interesting and new characters, a good sized city with it's own bevy of quests, and new items and spells. That sounds exactly what an expansion should be to me

7047  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: 2011 - The best year ever? on: February 12, 2011, 02:49:36 PM
Is the Dragon Age DLC really all that worth it anyway? I mean, besides Awakening?

I played warden's keep, awakening, the one where you get shale, and the one where you play as darkspawn.

The darkspawn one was very lame.

Normally I would do that but I don't feel like waiting another year or more for more Dragon Age. I'm not much of a DLC guy anyway, but I would jump on a bigger expansion type DLC like Awakenings.

just had some indian takeout, +1 is napping, and we're soon to leave for a bar to get drizzunk

I wanna try Indian food.

My +1 is getting stoned (I'm doing work to join)

I haven't had a beer in months.... I'm sad.

*returns to booksh*

Indian food is the shit. I live near the Indian area in chicago. So good and so cheap.

I haven't had any "smoke" in months because I've been on the job hunt. Well if this one comes through I'll have a fatty to celebrate.
