it's like that episode of Star Trek: TNG where they discover there was another Riker trapped on an alien world because the transporter beam was split

The same... yet different

I heard that about the Christian Science Monitor as well.

I check it every now and then.

When I started ME1 I didn't even think of making a ShepBro

Female all the way. My Shepard don't take no guff.

ME3... can't remember last time I looked forward to a game this much. Ocarina or Mario 64 probably.

I think NA has more love (I don't mean this in a bad way, just observation) for black rappers than asian pop stars.  I can't even think of any Asian chart toppers here... =/

LOL

I haven't seen gameplay yet, but I hope to high heaven that they get away from the same map, health meter type thing all the GTA games had.

That kind of made me LOL in RDR. Here you are in a beautifully realized Western environment and WHAM, cheesy health meter and map in the bottom. Could've done that differently

I did follow the link in your signature a while ago, Mickeymac92.  But like you mentioned they have closed registration.  I've just customised my spreadsheet with the same ideas from Backloggery...

Would you mind emailing me a copy of that? I'm a dunce w/ spreadsheets

I've been trying to do that. I have DDS and DQ8 on PS2 that need to be beaten. Been focusing on DQ.

On the portables I have Ys 7, Strange Journey and DQV. Focusing on DQ again.

I'm going to try and follow Kup's lead.

Well...maybe not all the spreadsheet action :)

A great fucking way to get minerals and shit is salvaging from a battle. Have a space battle, or maybe an assault mission and then you just recover items. The harder the mission, the better the payoff.

The problem is with space battles in the ME universe. If you read the codex crap from ME1 they say that it's basically huge capital ships in a battle of attrition. Fighters are basically suicide attacks because automatic targeting vaporizes them

Then let's go pirate and have it be more of a scavanging operation. You find a derelict vessle, have to traverse it's creepy hallways, and pinpoint locations where minerals can be extracted. Some of them contain aliens, renegades, or volitile conditions.

That's a damn fine idea. Taking that a step further with a renegade twist...raiding and boarding ships that aren't abandoned!

Fun fact: that dude has the biggest SACK of any man ever.

Actually, Washington did.

That reminds me of this old ass vid I saw on the webz before the days of youtube. It was some MS Paint looking cartoon about this guy that is poor and miserable and eats nothing but fudge stripe cookies.

It was funny but I can't find it. If I look for something and it's not in the 1st page of results then I guess it stopped existing.

I FUCKING FOUND IT LOL

I'm not afraid of heights but even thinking about doing this makes my heart race.

I'm a huge fan of the sleek looking sci fi art where everything looks sort of sterile and well... looks like this.

I love stuff like that but don't know where to begin to find a good compendium or list of artists that paint like that. What I'd ultimately like to do is an alternate history version of the star trek ships, paint them in that style.

Any names of good artists I can research? Anyone else Like this stuff too?
7125  The Rest / General Discussions / Re: were you a good RPGfan this year? Xmas wishlist. on: December 14, 2010, 08:10:10 PM
Cooking at home is awesome and fun. In fact I use my ability to cook w/ a chick a gauge on how the relationship will end up.

A classic example, this last chick I dated (we dated for like 3 years) we always tried shit around the hood. Never cooked too much. Or if we did it was one of us cooking for the other.

Can someone translate that part for me? I have this fucked up image in my head that cannot be right.

LOL

I GET IT
