I only played dlc for dragon age and ME1.

Kinda meh.

I guess it's not a bad deal for getting the game so late and 1/2 the story :)

I'm interested to see how they do that too.

Something like 700 events in ME2 are directly related to decisions you made in part 1.

Granted not all of them are key plot points and most of them are sort of small references and the like that benefit the return player.

Not really but for me the main story is better in ME1. The music in 1 is also better, but it's great in both.

The problem with 1 is there are a lot of generic driving around parts to the game. You land on a world that looks mostly the same as 50 other in the game and find a hideout that's set up almost exactly the same as 50 other in the game.

However all of that usually involves side quests that you can avoid if you wish. The main levels are all unique. I like the galaxy map better in me1

If you like sci-fi soundtracks you'll love these games

ME2 has better polish but ME1 has a lot of good shit going for it. But in short if you don't want to play it then it's not necessary for ME2

I loved the radio in Fallout 3..."chomping that meat!"

Hate to break it to ya, but the word is "Chopping that meat". It's about a psychopathic butcher, not a cannibal, he loves to cut things up.

I took it that Pete is a sexaholic.
Quote
I don't see how he stays alive
Meat's gonna be the death of ole Pete, yeah

That line did it for me. I just imagined some dude having sex all over town.

Also in the lyrics "big sharp knife" = his penis

Not playing Mass Effect 1 and 2 while having an xbox would be a huge crime.

Ong Bak is amazing.

Ever see the french movie District B13? Some excellent fights and action in that movie. Great stunts as well.

I watched  it on instant watch, if it's still up there check it out.

Labyrinth yesterday. Movie isn't as freaky as I remember but still is cool. Some interesting themes and visuals, plus it's basically a great film version of an RPG.

Family member on a quest to save a sibling. Gathers a party along the way, a dungeon crawl, party member betrayal and redemption, and everything sort of returning to normal at the end... OR DOES IT?!

I'm going to find Thoren around here in Chicago and buy him some SCHLITZ to lift his spirits.

I support the Ys 7 love. Not heavy on story but hard to beat the music, fun gameplay, easy and not burdening item crafting, and a variety of special attacks and such.

People are hard on the graphics but they're sharp and fluid. Fast load times as well.

Oath and Lenneth are next for me.

I swore I'd never get DLC or xbla games even though I had a 60gb model.

It's now jammed.

I'm either getting lenneth or star ocean 2nd ev and metal slug anthology.

does lenneth or ocean have save anywhere features?

I think most developers just rely on the fact you can put the console on "standby" as good enough.  I'd argue in favour of that.  Standby time can last for days.

I like to bounce between games sometimes. Especially on a train ride.
