I have a lot of friends that are teachers, a few in the chicago public schools, and they tell me horror stories about how kids behave these days.

Eh, caveats like that aren't necessary IMO. We're here to talk about games, not the best way to spend one's leisure time.

Amen.

We're all fans of games that take on average 30-40 hours to beat.

I can get them for sure for cash money but I'd rather try and trade shit.

Why don't you be a friendly Canuck and lend them to me???

Why must you toy with my emotions?

I'm crying tears of sweet joy.

Some combat footage on their website

Gameplay looks similar to DA1, with the ability to pause and play real time. They do make a note that this is for the PC, hopefully it's the same for 360.

4) DQ9
5) Golden Sun

The only RPGs made in 2010 that I played are ME2 and Ys7

So....

1) ME2
2) Ys7

it's like that episode of Star Trek: TNG where they discover there was another Riker trapped on an alien world because the transporter beam was split

The same... yet different

I heard that about the Christian Science Monitor as well.

I check it every now and then.
7362  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Mass Effect 3 on: December 15, 2010, 04:09:14 PM
When I started ME1 I didn't even think of making a ShepBro

Female all the way. My Shepard don't take no guff.

ME3... can't remember last time I looked forward to a game this much. Ocarina or Mario 64 probably.

I think NA has more love (I don't mean this in a bad way, just observation) for black rappers than asian pop stars.  I can't even think of any Asian chart toppers here... =/

LOL

7364  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Re: LA Noire on: December 15, 2010, 01:36:48 PM
I haven't seen gameplay yet, but I hope to high heaven that they get away from the same map, health meter type thing all the GTA games had.

That kind of made me LOL in RDR. Here you are in a beautifully realized Western environment and WHAM, cheesy health meter and map in the bottom. Could've done that differently

I did follow the link in your signature a while ago, Mickeymac92.  But like you mentioned they have closed registration.  I've just customised my spreadsheet with the same ideas from Backloggery...

Would you mind emailing me a copy of that? I'm a dunce w/ spreadsheets
