But more importantly, it is FREE TO PLAY! :-D

Why am I disappointed in that news? I hope it's not as bad as the gazillions of F2P MMOs out there...
1247  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: What one RPG would you award 100% to? on: March 28, 2012, 11:09:36 AM
I actually hate ATB because it doesn't go as fast as I can get get through the menu and press a button (except for FF4 where the highest speed brings it up to almost instant). The lag time annoys me greatly when I'm grinding.

Anyways, there is no RPG I'd give a 100% to. I think the closest for me is Kingdom Hearts, but the Atlantica stage alone docks the game more than 5 points. Chrono Trigger would also be really close, but it's too easy and I felt there were some points it could've expanded on.

The only perfect game in my mind is Tetris.

Aw yeah, Phantasy Star Online 2 is headed to the Vita! With crossplay with the PC version! This was my 2nd most wanted Vita game! Sure, we still have to wait to see if PSO2 ever comes to America, but that won't stop me from being excited for it right now!

I want a Boccano game where we kill eachother in horrible ways, only for the bodies to spontaniously reassemble.

Motorcycles happened. Remember kids, follow Yu-Gi-Oh's example: All you'll get from playing card games on a Motorcycle is a fractured spine. Unless you want to be limping along, half dead, desperately trying to gain back what you once had, You'll keep your card games off them motorcycles. >=(

OMG that was horrible why did I write that?!

To it's credit The End of Evangelion is one those movies that you'll probably watch one time in your life and the images and scenes are going to stick with you for the rest of your life. If that's good thing or not it depends by person.

That movie has side effects bro.

I know what you mean. And I watched it 3 times! (only finished it the final time, though)

Just ordered this game for my brother's birthday in two weeks. Looking forward to playing it with him.

it basically is both cladun games are fun but they dont feel nis japanish

this does

Kinda jumping the gun, there, don't ya think? I mean, I'm a proponent for using one's cognitive abilities to determine how much they'd like a game, but feel's pretty tough to get down without actually playing the game, and we don't even have a video to see how it is in motion.

I kinda enjoyed those episodes for what they were. I agree with most fans that it could've been waaaay more subtle, but still, it was pretty cool as just a straight up character analysis and therapy session. EoE, though, felt like they were trolling the pretty much the entire movie...

but this is so much cooler

True enough. At least it tries something new. I hear X2 is pretty much the same game.

I'd actually argue that End of Evangalion is a big F-U to the fans. The first 5 minutes especially...

I'm pretty sure it's a new IP, isnt it? I couldn't find anything about a series...
1258  Media / Anime, TV, and Movies / Re: Awesome Anime's and Manga's That Really Rocks! on: March 03, 2012, 09:18:28 PM
one piece is the only thing people should be reading

I'd disagree if One Piece wasn't the only thing I've been watching for the past 3 weeks...

Yeah, R2's great. Got some of my favorite twists in Anime.

I spent the last few weeks watching just One Piece. Got in more than 50 episodes in a row. Now I'm on the Drum Island Arc, the one where they meet Chopper. I know I've been told that series gets exponentially better by the arc, but I never realized how right that was until I actually watched it. Every major arc was way better than the last, and at the end of each one I found myself saying "This is my new favorite Arc, they aren't gonna be able to top that!" With that said, the Drum Island Arc was an all-time favorite from when I watched the 4Kids dub, and it's even better than I remember. Chopper's Backstory has the biggest punch out of the whole group, IMO, and it plays into the rest of the arc pretty well. I don't recall the Alabasta Arc, which comes right after it, being able to top it, but I guess we'll see.

Possibly. XD You might've all had favorites that were on the OU list.

I just checked the OU list, none of them are on there.:/ And I had very little trouble at all in this game. I beat the Elite 4 on my first try. Granted, I don't thing an of them were "worthless" either, but I did well just using my favorites. I switched around quite a few, too, right up until the end. In fact, I've always done well using my faves in Pokemon. And I know plenty of people who have done well with Trubbish, too. Not really sure what you're going on about, really.:/ Perhaps you could explain it a little more in depth, with more examples?
