Whether it might be staged or not, that really made me laugh after having a real tiring day.

Just finished Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

Here is my official review:

First I was like D:

Then I was like :D

Then I was like :O
Very to the point and share the same sentiments. I just elaborated more about it instead.

I managed to get about 64 streetpasses currently. Majority of those came from the Final Fantasy music concert for two nights. I really do like how the streetpass is tied to the platform itself, and not to a game only like say, DQ9.

Beat it last night -- wonderful plot twists....

Code:
~Weismann, the [now] evil blue headed fucker, I kinda saw coming.  His new facial portraits were disturbingly evil looking... he had so many versions for an angry face...
~Joshua's story was a great final reveal, again, you kinda see it coming, but it was definitely in like with that "the game has cliches but dodges their full effect" with interesting dialogue, character interplay, and twists.  Actually, to me, Joshua's final "BS"-bomb was the biggest surprise of all haha.  Poor kid.
~Estelle is the sweetest; I love her character portraits, and her embarrassed one is so cute.  Her actually confessing surprised me, but it buttered up the girl inside of me
~The *final* mission, after the final boss was a cute touch. =P  Olivier was a great character
~Fucking Cassius Bright, clearly the man is a god, no one could accomplish that much!  It made Colonel Richard's reasoning for his evil plot kinda lame, but it definitely opens the plot for something bigger.
~I clocked in at almost 61 hours... I'm ashamed to say that I did graze over a ton of in-town text... a lot of it dragged on, and Joshua and Estelle feel that need for "full introductions" with each new job they do
~I also like how the final chapter loves throwing money at you
~The last dungeon sucked ass, and all previous dungeons didn't get you ready for it...
~I want SC right the fuck now.

Completely agreed for the most part, ESPECIALLY the last comment. Feels like it's been a while long time that I am this excited and impatient for another installment. It has flaws, but so what, it's a blast.

Having played it myself for a bit on PAX East, there is no overhaul on the visual style itself, but everything is far smoother, and actually looks quite better than the screenshots, at least to me.

Sweet, I own the physical board game of Blokus, and brought it along to some NY board game sessions, but I regularly lack people to play with at my end. ;(

When nothing is going on at work, I sometimes spent reading tropes for a while.

I approve of this post and link!

I got into Bayonetta not really because of the sexualization aspect, but purely the campy portion. I like my cheese.

Yeah, was my oversight and did get fixed, but got too late in the initial posting. Feel free to point and laugh. :p

Edit: And there, I see the fix.

I like to thank Starmongoose and Yoda for showing me these lists. I love this sort of thing.
43  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Next Vanillaware Title to be Grand Knight History on: March 29, 2011, 11:08:09 PM
Awesome! I liked all of their games, and hopefully, there will be a better localization team (or Ignition do a much better job than before)

Yeah, I did enjoy the AR games, and it's neat how my area gets distorted by it. I did have some trouble playing it though because my room isn't well lit. Face Raiders is also a very interesting game in it's own right. Been making faces out of inanimate objects for fun.
45  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Re: Siliconera: Nanashi No Game Was Considered For North America, Focus Groups Kille on: March 28, 2011, 07:34:58 PM
Well, that is a totally dumb reason for not bringing over a niche DS game. Like others have said, hard to say what type of gamers the focus group is, and obscure, non-violent games like the various visual novels are brought over, and have their place here. Why not take the chance, do a low print run for safe keeping, and see how it plays are. Chances are, it can be a cult hit, but what do I know? I'm no expert on marketing. :p
