I don't know why they are releasing all these sequels? Are there even people who rather have a XIII sequel instead of a brand new FF? Everyone loves the PS1 FFs, why did they have to change how it was back then?

So, I'm thinking of buying a PS1 Classic from the PS store and these are the games I've never really played:
Alundra (borrowed it for a few days back in the day, but didn't really play it and have almost no memories of it) Legend of Dragoon Threads of Fate Saiyuki Journy West
Which one's the best in your opinion?

I feel like these games aren't getting enough love in this thread:
Star Ocean 2 Wild Arms 1 <- ?!?! Grandia
But I kinda love most of the PS1 RPGs. Definitly the best era for RPGs, IMO even a little better than the SNES.
Really? Its been mentioned at least once on every page of this thread and made it onto the OPs list. How much more attention do you want it to get? Okay, that one maybe got mentioned a lot, but still not enough!! :D It also had one of the best soundtracks of all the PS1 games, imo.

I rarely replay RPGs and never do so right after I finished them. The only RPGs I ever replayed are the SNES and PS1 ones because of nostaliga, but I have a hard time finishing them then because I lose interest after some time and I know the end anyway.

Thanks, did that now.
Got another question though: Will I always be able to go back to the early floors to get the persona cards in there? Or will there be a point when I will not get the chance to get some personas again? I fusioned some of them already, but don't know if it is the right thing to do so?

Sry for bumping this.
This is my first Persona game and I'm a bit confused. I played some hours now and I'm just at the point where I can start to do whatever I want. But what do I do? I went to the dark hour dungeon thing and played that for quite some time now (floor 14 or 15). I thought perhaps there is a floor that I cannot access so I have to go back and do some social life stuff... but it just let's me go on and on. Should I go back by myself and do some social life stuff inbetween or what?
Please answer without spoiling too much :D

Hey guys, I wanna try out a mmorpg! The only I ever really played was Ragnarok Online and I want something similar to that but... newer.
So the things it needs to have: - Not a lot of Quests needed, just grinding. - No WASD controls, mouseclick movement. - No BIG parties required. I don't have time to wait for 20 people to get online for a boss. Bosses should be killable by <5 people. - Leveling should be effectivly possible solo or 2-3 player parties.
Any games like that out there? Endgame content like pvp etc needs to be there too, but those above are the main requirements for me.

I really need to read up on why digitally distributed games are still region restricted. It makes no sense. The game is translated, on the PSN servers and ready for purchase. What sense does limiting it to NA make? I doubt Sony hates money, so I'm really curious what the actual problem is.
It's not region restricted, you just need to create an US account.

Hi,
I already own FF XIII, Tales of Vesperia, Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey and kinda liked them, but none of those felt as epic as the old PS1/PS2 games. Are there any other games on the current gen that I could try? How good are White Knight Chronicles, Last Remnant, Resonance of Fate or Star Ocean The Last Hope? Anything good coming in the near future?

I liked the gameplay of Vanquish quite a lot, but the setting was boring and all the levels looked the same. Story was shit too. I dropped Bayonetta after around 5 hours and then never picked it up again, perhaps I should give it another try.
And no, I cannot imagine your face when you see people wearing GoW shirts. Game's awesome.

So, I'm looking for good action adventures for my ps3 or 360. There should be a good story in them, not just pure action. Can also be first/third person shooters, if theyre good.
I loved: Uncharted 1 and 2, MGS 4. I liked: GoW3, DMC4. Meh: Bayonetta, Vanquish, Heavenly Sword.
Wouldn't it be cool if there was a remake of lets say Terranigma or Secret of Evermore with HD graphics and modern gameplay?
