I might as well remind you people now that online harassment is against the law, so I'll ask you one more time to stop, please.

First of all, that is an extremely lame attempt to insult me, and to make yourself look like a suckup.

Second of all, if I were to actually write a review about his review, I wouldn't have done it in first person.  There is a difference between a quick reaction, and a review.  Learn that.

And you may have only have talked a few sentences in first-person, but there are other ways to approach a review without using first-person at all.

That's called harassment, and I'll ask you to stop right now, please.  Thank you.

Growlanser generations is absolute horse shit. Don't get it.

Disappointing. I loved the original Japanese game, and I wanted to play it in English ASAP. Oh well.

And yeah, I agree with Ramza. They need to bring out Grand Fantasm, or else. *Shakes fist*

Don't get it, it'll be a waste of your money.

Suikoden III is great, and Atelier Iris is good for a fun romp, if you want something lighthearted. Phantom Brave is possibly the pinnacle of NIS' SRPG series, so if you enjoy those you'll want that and not Disgaea 2.

Hey Ley, why do you consider Disgaea 2 a waste of money? Now you're making me worried as I've already preordered (and pre-paid for) it. Is it a lot worse than Disgaea, or do you just not like the series at all?

No be fair, it's not a TERRIBLE game... but it's almost like a carbon copy of Disgaea with new characters. There is virtually no improvement over the original game, which is what I look for most often in a sequel, and much of the wacky humor from the first game is gone. It really hurt Disgaea 2's standing with me. If you just want 'more of the same,' though, it's not too bad. But I expected a bit more.

And yes, a lack of Flonne made me stabbingly angry. :(

Also, if you enjoyed Disgaea, the second installment in the series is coming out at the end of the month, if you're willing to wait. While I haven't played it, it is another Disgaea, so I'm thinking that it'll be worth it :P

I never said it was a substantial improvement. But hey, I guess it's alright for you to have selective arguments that ignore half of my post, because that doesn't require intelligence, now does it?

Aren't you the one that said smoothing the hell out of them with some crappy filter makes them more "detailed"?

You again with the putting-words-in-mouth thing.

I referred to the visuals in general. I have my GBA out RIGHT NOW with Riviera playing, and I notice the little details for the PSP version much more readily. They're higher resolution, so they have to be not as mixpelated as the GBA version. And, as Eusis said, I also refer to the character dialogue faces when I say that.

And, as I said, Sting is a small as fuck company. Which part of that don't you understand?

The naysayers have something wrong with their eyes.

Or more likely they're forgetting that Sting is a small as hell company. So small that they can only apparently work on one game at a time.

You honestly think this is a substantial improvement over this:

I think you're the one who has bad eyes.

I love all those cheesy one liners they keep saying.

"Any terrorist sympathizers... please surrender... by 5 PM today."

Hilarious.

U.S. on Red Alert

I travel around a lot and have to ride on planes, so the extra security measures may be a tad annoying, but I'm pretty sure I'd rather deal with some inconveniences than die when a terrorist decideds to reenact the Big Bang using the plane.

Thoughts?
