I'm probably the only one who prefer Xenosaga over Xenogears. I never finished Xenogears, though.
Last Story sales are even lower than 3rd Birthday sales. O_o I hope this isn't Sakaguti's last story.  Xenoblade sales are almost exactly the same (153,742). |

wtf with her voice? She sounds like character from Korean Dorama. Why why why!? I don't like her voice at all. >_< Gameplay: Here's the hard part. It starts good, than it keeps getting worse and repetitive. Enemies with huge life bars don't help because they don't impose a challenge just help to make things more boring and repetitive as they are.
At the beginning the game tries to keep a varied option of things to do but as it goes once you get into an area you fight some enemies, net one, the same thing, and the following one the same thing with the same enemies and it just keeps going on and on. So gameplay is something like Resistance/Syphon Filter for PSP? A few weeks ago I played demo versions of both and I wasn't impressed with controls. Playing this kind of games without 2nd analog stick was a real pain for me. I'm not really into shooters though. |

I don't know if you can keep your stats because I haven't finish it yet but I've hear that if you beat it 50 times you unlock that a shower scene (much improved from the one from PE2). Whoa, that's quite a lot, but I'm sure I can do it with my Dear Aya. :P I haven't watched it on youtube, so I'm " patiently" waiting for March 1st... |

Those are numbers are actually pretty low....3rd birthday outsold it be over 30k copies in its first week.
I agree, that's sad it looks like A Great RPG and it actually makes me want to buy Wii again. I think I will buy it again if there is US/Europe release. People in Japan don't like shooters, but they love half naked Aya. |

Saw it a few days ago. Looks hot. Definitely getting this edition. I'm glad that box has the same cover as Jp version. April is so faraway... I need it now. |

Albedo from Xenosaga is my top fav. villain ever! Real Freak & Madman!
I also like Seifer as villain. Not like he's the greatest badass, but he was pretty cool.

Xenosaga I-III. Especially Ep. III. When I finished it I was like" omfg this game probably has one of the best stories in vg". I even read Nietzsche's book after it...

Well kinda... XIII has two novels, Episode Zero -Promise- and Episode i. Both are canonical with the story of the main game and also there's some Drama CDs with extras chapters if I remember correctly. The last novel though finish with "more adventures, buy XIII-2" as publicity (well not literally, but you get the idea). Thanks for the info. I must not read this thread anymore, don't wanna read any spoilers. |

I played only 1st Grandia and I really liked it, sadly I never finished it. Well, maybe someday I will buy it again and beat it.

I haven't even bought PS3/played FFXIII yet and here comes FFXIII-2. It's like with FFX-2, it came out when I was still playing FFX. Maybe it'll be the opposite of FFX. FFX was awesome and FFX-2 had some charms, but was mostly lame (though some may disagree). I love FFX-2 and not only 'cause it was sequel to my top fav rpg and 'cause I discovered Koda Kumi & Jade Valerie through it. btw Japanese X360 ver of FFXIII somes with extra chapter? Like FFX-2 had Last Mission? |
