Licensing fee. Used to see price differential all the time before. Then companies got smart and figured they could just make their games more expensive on PC and pocket the pure profit.
It think you mean PS3 :p Anyway, new tour video is up on OH MY FUCKING GOD ODIN~! http://youtu.be/8JQ87KtH1G8No, I mean when the average PC game went from $10 less than the console versions to the same dollar amount, not the up-shift from $50 to $60. Instead of seeing a $50 equivalent on PC, we got the same $60 even though there's no licensing fee.

Fun with Youtube statistics: One of my P3 vid is on a korean wiki (wth?) One of my Youtube vid was on a VGchartz article. One vid I posted here got me 48 views from this forum. (thx ♥) The Ys Origin trailer I put got tons of view from a torrent site at some point (wasn't that one fan translated? Would make sense that way)
In order of overall views by countries: #1 USA, #2 Japan, #3 Germany (wut?)
There's all kinds of fun to be had when parsing Youtube data.
We do that with our Google Analytics data. There's some interesting stuff there. RPGs seem to have a big pull in Germany - they're our #4 country after USA, Canada, and UK. Japan's not even in the top 10 for us. Also, we're very proud that most RPGFan visitors are on, you know, modern browsers. Only 9% of our visitors use IE, with Chrome coming in at 37%, Firefox at 30%, and Safari (including mobile) at 12%.

Wow. That's only the second PSP game I'm aware of that's gotten a patch (DJ Max 3 being the first). If only the PSP actually prompted the user that such patches existed. I'm putting the over/under on the people who download it at 500.
Well, this is (IMO) a great game that got nigh universal backlash for the lazy localization work, and rumor is they want to localize II, III, and even Gothic, so I can't blame them for wanting to fix the damage. Good for them. Oh, I'm not arguing at all that it's a bad move - I'm glad they're doing it. I'm more complaining about the fact that the PSP has a piss-poor way of patching games. No notifications, you have to actually know there is an update for your game and go and select to update it.

The cloud saves seem nice but the fact you only "own" your games as long as you pay for the service and you lose them as soon as you stop paying for the service is a deal breaker for me.
Remember that's only for games that are free as part of the subscription. Any games that you buy using a PS+ discount or sale (like me buying Hot Shots Golf for $9) are yours permanently.

I'd love a quasi-action game like the Shadowrun for Genesis, but I am certainly stoked for SR, especially since it was one of the first games I kickstarted.

Aside from the very obvious choices in the PSone Classics (Chrono Cross, etc.), some good stuff is available:
Jeanne d'Arc - This is one of Level 5's best games. They have a tendency to bloat their games, but there's none of that in Jeanne d'Arc. Good, solid, traditional SRPG.
Brave Story: New Traveler - I still find this to be one of the better RPGs on the PSP. It's very traditional and doesn't to a whole great deal that's outside the box, but it's very fluid and very charming.
Persona 3 Portable - P3 and P4 are great hybrids of traditional RPG dungeon crawling and life sim. Don't pass this one up.
Yggdra Union or Riviera - These two Sting games are very different, but they're both quality games and will give you an idea about Sting's games and whether or not you're going to like them.

I don't know what the deal is with the composite out, either. Theoretically, the image should be fine - after all, it's 480x272. That should be well within composite's ability to handle. It's nigh unplayable unless you're using component cables.
