"So you want me to put the tip of this into that hole of yours?"
The slightly slippery tip wouldn't slip into the hole.
"It's my first time doing this."

1893  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Final Fantasy releases, Japan to us on: May 17, 2006, 06:39:28 PM
Okay, left column is the Japanese release, right column in North American

Japanese---------------------|------------------North American
Final Fantasy (Famicon) -  Final Fantasy (NES)
Final Fantasy II (Famicon) - Final Fantasy II (Dawn of Souls (GBA)/Origins (PSOne))
Final Fantasy III (Famicon) - Final Fantasy III (DS)
Final Fantasy IV (Super Famicon) - Final Fantasy II (SNES), Final Fantasy IV (PSOne/GBA)
Final Fantasy V (Super Famicon) - Final Fantasy V (PSOne/GBA)
Final Fantasy VI (Super Famicon) - Final Fantasy III (SNES), Final Fantasy VI (PSOne/GBA)

Final Fantasy titles from VII onward have the same numbering system.

If you want to know about the GB FF titles (Adventure/Legend), I'm sure I can dig up which is SaGa and which is "of Mana".
1894  Media / The Soundroom / iTunes music store is really screwed up sometimes... on: May 16, 2006, 01:20:37 PM
There were a few of the opening vocal songs cut from the iTunes releases because they were unable to get the American rights to it for use in specifically-music releases.

Because of RPGFan's coverage area - we consider point + click adventures as well as digital comics/digital novels to be under the realm of RPGs.
1896  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Final Fantasy XII X 3 on: May 15, 2006, 07:25:40 PM
Actually, it was specifically mentioned that it was the first FF with a fully futuristic setting - no more 'lawls we have a super fast airship - let's ride chocobos'.

Not unless your monitor is the size of New Hampshire.

Maybe it's because you guys weren't able to see it in motion on a huge screen in a million pixels by a million pixels, but I about crapped my pants when I saw FF13.  I can't wait.
1899  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Fabula Nova Crystallis project. on: May 14, 2006, 10:28:04 PM
Portions of the trailer were FMV, and there was about 15 seconds of real-time stuff going on.

All of the Versus trailer was FMV.

I bet you use Slice and Dice, too.  God, everyone knows real rogues don't do white damage.

Slice and Dice and Blade Flurry.

I'm a maniac.
1901  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Dirge of Cerberus Online?!?! on: May 14, 2006, 02:40:24 PM
DoC has online deathmatching.

I don't see why not.

I get called a noob all the time in raids for my +8% to hit on my combat rogue.

Then I destroy them all in actual damage in raids.

It's fun.

While this is obviously great news, I was expecting that new GS (4?) game to be announced for the US, as well. And WTF, 2007? What, do they got 1 guy translating the whole thing?

Probably.  I don't expect this to be a huge seller for Capcom, so they're probably not going to devote a huge team to it.
1904  Media / Miscellaneous Games / Shadowrun FPS on: May 13, 2006, 05:29:58 PM
I played the game on the show floor.  Other than the cool Xbox 360/PC combined play:

Meh.
1905  The Rest / General Discussions / PS3 to sell for $499, have motion sensing controller on: May 09, 2006, 03:47:04 AM
Motion sensing controller?! WHERE THE SHIT DID THAT COME FROM?!

Mario is bloodied and beaten in an alley somewhere.

Edit: Just realised I'm logged in as John. Good going me. This is Mark/Hidoshi. Sorry John!
