This looks awesome! Can't wait to see gameplay footage.

Been hankering for King Of Fighters XII.  Need a release nao.

I heard arcade release is Spring '09. Check out this thread on SRK for fruther updates and videos. http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=163210

The game looks beautiful! The best looking 2D fighter I've seen so far. This and Blazblue.

Been busy finishing up EOII. I'm on the 4th stratum now. After I finish this, I'm going to move on to DQIV.

From that one fuzzy screen(which looks like a battle screen), it looks similar in style to Etrian Odyssey.

Does this guy just really want it to be Dragon Force III? It says 7th Dragon. @_@ And those cute, little characters are awesome. I wonder what kind of RPG it will be.

I'd say my favorite VGM composer, at least right now, is Daisuke Ishiwatari

YES! Daisuke is an amazing composer. I love the Guilty Series as a competitive fighting game, and for it's art and music. One of my favorite game series of all time.

I really loved the #Reload soundtrack too, which was done by the Korean band N.ex.T.

I don't remember the name of the album, but it was comprised of redone tracks from old games, and it included ABAs track for when they released Slash. I the album on my laptop, but have since lost it. =( I need to find it again. That had some of the best Guilty Gear music on there.

I have some other favorite composers for RPGs, but I can't recall their names at the moment. I'll re-post later.
1431  The Rest / General Discussions / The Avatar, Title, and Sig Thread! on: August 29, 2008, 03:50:03 PM
User name is taken from a sci-fi book I started to read of the same name. I never did finish it, but I really like the title.

I don't think I have a title here.

My avatar is a panda, because I love the chubby guys. I also liken myself to a panda because I eat so much throughout a day, but I'm not fat like a panda.

My sig is taken from Orihime of Bleach because I thought that scene was funny, and it applies to my constant eating habits.

New trailer shows gameplay

Trackball with stylus controls to run fast? wtf?

We'll see if it's any good. I'm still interested though. :)

That looked really good. I hope that trackball thing is optional. I don't want to make my wrist all tired from trying to run everywhere.
1433  Media / Single-Player RPGs / The (double) posted Atlus secret on: July 30, 2008, 01:12:02 PM
Oh man! I really hope Atlus brings this to the U.S. Waiting for more details on the battle system. They should offer a hard mode from the start of the game. Playing on normal in Devil Sumoner got rather dull since there wasn't much to worry about in battle.

Unlimited SaGa.

Hey, that game has a great soundtrack. Unfortunately, the rest is not so great.

Thanks for the info on the release date of the OST. =)
1436  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Persona 4 on: July 06, 2008, 07:51:33 PM
Does anyone know if you can get the full OST for Persona 4 yet?
1437  Media / Single-Player RPGs / Persona 4 on: July 06, 2008, 05:28:13 PM
I'm so hyped for this!!!! From what I saw of this from the trailers, I'm going to have more fun playing this than P3. I did have a blast playing P3, though.

Does anyone know if the dungeons are randomized again? I was hoping for something more like P2.
1438  Media / Single-Player RPGs / "Countdown Site" = Chrono Trigger DS? remake, new on: July 02, 2008, 03:30:06 PM
I'm really looking forward to this. I never did get all the different endings. I do own the cart, but something about being able to play it on the go is appealing to me. I don't have much time to sit around playing tons of games now, so being able to boot it up on my DS and play for 15-30 minutes at a time is nice.
1439  Media / Single-Player RPGs / "Countdown Site" = Chrono Trigger DS? remake, new on: July 02, 2008, 10:38:09 AM
From RPGamer-

"Chrono Trigger DS will feature the classic multiple endings that it is famous for and will be unchanged at its core. Yasunori Mitsuda's score will return as will Akira Toriyama's character designs. The new additions to this version are dual screen presentation, touch screen functionality, a brand new dungeon, and an unspecified wireless play mode. Continue to visit the official North American website for more updates as they become available."

I bought this yesterday, but I'm debating on whether or not to start on it since I only just completed the first task on the first EO...

There's no reason story wise to play through the first if you wanted to jump to the second game. Character customization is sooo much better in the second game, though.
